Restaurant is understaffed, service is horribly slow. Special efforts by restaurant manager Kenneth to keep it this way. His only interest is to inflate the order and disappear. Food was cold, breads were chewy. Even a street restaurant would do far better. Never come here again!!

Right from the time I got down from my car the hospitality which is unbeatable, delighted me to the core. My team and I have been checking out hotels within India but never have we seen such a team work and enthusiasm to please the guest. Sudipta Roy manager at firdaus who took such good care of us I sincerely wish them good and thankful to them. Even the chef at Firdaus made an extra effort to personally come and take the feedback about the delicious kebabs that were served. I felt like a Nizam in Taj ,I highly recommend Taj Krishna for its ambience and hospitality.

Awesome Ambience n Food.

Went to Firdaus after a long time with family yesterday, with lots of expectations. Unfortunately it was shocking to see the drop in food quality standards. We were a group of 5 and had ordered both veg & non-veg set menu. It looks like because of Covid, they might have sacked their chef and the dishes tasted so bad that it was as if an intern had prepared them. No taste, no spices, no salt and was completely bland. Haleem was undercooked and without any taste, so were other main course dishes including the mutton biriyani and the fish starter. The flesh used in the biriyani was so chewy that it tasted like a chewing gum. The dessert complimented the main course and was equally bad ( no presentation at all!). The shorba, chicken & lamb starters were good but that was it! When checked with the restaurant manager and steward, they had the audacity to tell us that this is how Hyderabadi food tastes! :DAll in all, it was the worst 20,000 I have ever spent in my life. Never going back to this place which has lost its charm and is a black spot to the Taj brand name..

A great experience in Hyderabad for biryani or just about anything on the menu. Staff were brilliant - esp Ashiya (I think - from Darjeeling. So welcoming) Kenneth, Jahingar For the experience, prices were reasonable. My only slightly negative comment is the same with most restaurants: the extreme mark up on wines - even local ones

Went to Firdose at taj krishna with hope of fine dining, but ended up with disappointments.First we made reservation and went to resturant, it was me along with my wife and 2 kids,Staff is Immatured with no table serving manners. when we entered we were offered table for 8 members which was awkward then upon request they again shifted to table of 4 members.Then we order taj krishnas signeture cocktail which was totally cap.Therefore after we order for fixed menu and ala cart for kids which was disaster.I took around total 2 hours to complete the fix menu course.First we were offered starters chicken tikke which was uncooked and Mutton shikampur which like having paste and some lamb which was unspecified then in veg fixed menu which order by my wife got some paneer tikka and as a mother she shared a bite with Childern and immediately then floor manager came rushingly and told us that she cant share any bite with others, oh god it was so embarrassing, it remind me about my day boarding school where a warden use to keep watch on us when we use to have our lunch in school time.Thereafter soup(paya sorba) was served which was average and then main course which was sad and after that Briyani really made me upset and we left the place.Th dessert which served to us by the waiter there was I very bad behavior...the waiter dont even care to remove the used napkins on table and straight away landed dessart plate above the used napkins .Staff GL REDDY needs for perfectionBoys under him also need to learn to give respect to the resturent guests.The suggest restaurant should remove word fine dining from firdose restaurant.There are planty many resturents in city which offers good ambiance, food at fair better price the firdose.

Excellent attentive service in wonderful surrounds. Went here for lunch as Taj Krisna hotel was couple hundred metres up the road from my hotel (which did noy have lunch option). Lovely free enree of dips and crudeties. Fabulous Dum Ka Mugh and maitre de gave me extra small dish of biriyani so I could taste how it also went with that.

Beware of the Singer, his rendition of Mohammed Rafi, Jagjit Singh and Pankaj Udhas are terrible to say the least. The sound is very loud, inhibiting conversation for which we come here for instead of say a night club or a bar. Minus the singer the experience is 7 Star but with the singer it is not worth 1 star also.The food served here is quite good and the restaurant has recently been renovated so it has a more fresh and modern feel.

The food,ambience, hospitality and everything is worth the money you pay.

I went for a special occasion to have dinner as this place had great reviews. Add to this my extreme fondness for Taj hotels. This my second time, first time being a company sponsored lunch. Anyways we made a reservation, landed in time. Were handed an elaborate menu. The drinks menu especially had a very poor availability of beer. Choice was only Corona kingfisher and Budweiser. The service staff seemed reluctant and came across as unhelpful. We ordered seekh kabab that were burnt on the edges and we were served by the server calling out them to well done ...lol. the seekh kabab was well flavoured but too dry with poor accompaniments. For main course we ordered kacchey gosht ki biryani as it was highly recommended. It was ok, serving was adequate and accompaniments were decent. The salan was a bit too sweet. There were mostly bones and no meat in the serving. Did not enjoy it very much. Overall poor experience,but ambience was nice and the live ghazal relaxing. I would not go there again. In hindsight a poor choice and poor cuisine experiencExpected more and better from Taj and firdaus.

Had a couple of lunches and dinners here over last week when I was in Hyderabad. The experience was marvellous. Great food, good service and beautiful place. Special thanks to Chef Jahangir Khan who had picked choices for my meals. His choices were great. He also made one of the best Haleem; a local delicacy; not to left out the freshly made garlic naan. Definitely a must-go restaurant when you are in Hyderabad.

Absolutely stunning ambience and perfect for mughalai food lover...

We went to the Firdaus restaurant at Taj Krishna to celebrate a birthday but were utterly disappointed with the food there. The 2 stars are for the ambience and the live music. All the non-veg starters were served cold, the curries were sweet, the biryani was the biggest disappointment. I would never go back to this place and would never recommend to anyone as well.

First of all honestly speaking food was awsome and service was good. But i have a problem with your [email protected] guy like him should work in a road side hotel instead of a 5 star. That cheap scoundrel indirectly asked tips from us and told us to give a good review on his name. I also noticed that he pays attention to customers who look rich and neglets others.dont you guys pay him that he asks noney from customers? I even overheard him sharing his account number to a fellow customers . Cmon dude, being a manager and doing this kind of cheap things doesnt suit. Well this was my first and last visit to firdaus and i hope i never see his face again. Even if i come there i will enquire whether that scoundrel is there or not and then only will i show up.

We visited Firdaus in Apr2019 and the overall experience was awesome -Food was great, ambience was good, live music was just superb (gazals and some old Bollywood songs) and the staff was pretty attentive. We were group of 6 with 3 adults and 3 kids; in addition, I am allergic to cashew and always hesitate to eat outside. Here Jahangir Khan (chef) guided me on all the dishes and helped me choose/customize things based on my taste/allergies. I had a phenomenal experience and would strongly recommend it to all.

This one is a real treat of a restaurant in Taj Krishna Hyderabad. The famed Hyderabadi hospitality coupled with the professionalism of the Taj Group is to be experienced. The menu is carefully curated to represent all that the city stands for - Telangana and Andhra cuisine, Hyderabadi dishes and enough and more for the north Indians. They are also experimenting with some fusion dishes which is a modern spin on traditional dishes. i would recommend trying out their Patthar ke Gosht which is succinct and aromatic. They also did a great job of Dal Panchmahal which went very well with crispy nans. Not to forget, they have live music going during dinner, the singer complements the surroundings in his husky voice - a faint echo of Mehdi Hassan

Good and quality

Extremely attentive staff - the fact that my glance at them made them cognizant that I needed something is quite telling of the diligent service. And most of all, the food was an absolute high quality treat. An oasis of freshness, quality, and delicacy in a deluge of cheap fast food that swamps Hyderabad. The meat is well sourced if I am not mistaken. My experiences at Hyderbadi fast food joints made me feel that the meats in general are rubbery and a bit off the mark. Firdaus was exactly the treat that I was looking for and the staff entertained my questions about the famous owner of the hotel while I was there. Taj Krishna is no Faluknuma, but for anyone in the Banjara Hills/Jubilee Hills area it is an absolute treat at a reasonable price. I found them to be meticulous in just about every regard. A1 in every sense. Unfortunately I dined alone and it is the kind of place where you go with someone else due to its ambience and warm setting.

The food at Firdaus has been a constant since decades. Superbly at its best, and the man behind it is Chef Jahangir. The best kebabs, Soft paneer and Hot phulkas. everything makes your evening Perfect.

K****** the server suggested rubbish and the food was a big flop.Bill was a super hit on the pocket.The behaviour was no less than that of a road side cheater.

I have had dinner here multiple times and i must say the experience here is pretty much average to say the least. Their biryani, mirchi salad, patter gosh is all fairly good but nothing that excites me to visit it over and over again when I am in Hyderabad. I would suggest they maybe start adjusting their menu and also bring in some better chefs to make the food.

The dal makhni here is top notch. It’s similar to what we get in Delhi. We also liked the dahi ke Kebab (we were lucky that they were served hot). Chicken tikka masala was good too. For deserts we had kulfi and Rabri jamun.We enjoyed our lunch and enjoyed the walk alongside the pool afterwards.
