The Government Junior Primary School is located on the banks of the Kaveri River. The bridge is a suspension bridge across the Cauvery River which is used by students and the public to get to the town.On the other side of the suspension bridge is the famous Shiva Temple, which is held every year with thousands of people attending the festival and pulling a chariot. The area is close to the towns of Harangi and Kushalanagar.
