This is one of the worst Lodge, no hygiene, no service boys. Even your room/ bathroom door will not be closed properly. But once payment done they will not respond for anything. Better to avoid this.

Stay experience was not that good. Rooms were not clean enough. Washroom was horrible. We reached hubli late night at 12.30 so we couldnt find a good stay. They allowed stay for 24hrs. That was the only good thing.

Nice place to have breakfast,lunch, snacks and meals too.Need to improve in service and tasteI tasted Gobi Manchurian and it was ok ok.Moderate price.

Location wise great, just side by a busy main road, so u may hear horn all day long. property is bit old, maintained just for business sake. Staffs are polite, washroom is ok for a family stay. Beddings are ok & clean. Not very premium feel, but ok for the money spent. Small balcony for room number 105. Food is good over hear. They take cash, card & online wallet payments.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff .The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. I had a great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. -near to bus stand and railway station -Service is good-not faced any problems during my stay. Note, this is a 5/5-star hotel All respect for the general manager who does a great job here. NO noise you can invest your complete time in study no disturbance

I have stayed in this hotel several times. The last time I stayed (Feb 2019), it had been renovated. The rooms are neat and clean with clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Room is spacious enough for 2 people. There is a restaurant in the ground floor, but if you walk about half a km, there are Kamaths and other restaurants. Moderately priced. I found it good for 1-2 days of stays for business purpose as you not in the room most of the day time.Located in a central area and accessible from Hubli railway station at about max 20 minutes by auto. Place around is very lively. There is a Shirdi Saibaba temple very close by if you want a quite time. Lot of eateries and the popular Mishra Peda nearby.

Earlier it was a good hotel, it was my first preference in budget hotels, but this time experience was not so good. Tiny insects and cockroaches were crawling on the bed. The room had a big window with no curtains. Bathroom was not clean.

Chalukya is no longer the grand hotel it once was. The housekeeping service is almost pathetic even though the staff was polite. When we asked for extra towels we were informed that the linens had not yet been returned by the laundry!! No ventilation even though rooms are spacious and mosquitoes are quite irritating.
