We went on an all girls day out...and werent disappointed at all! Great place to chill...the pool was awesome and the view too. Staff were very helpful and prompt. Food tasted great...were overloaded with snacks🤪Bathrooms could have been better.Good place!

Mr. Prasenjit Bhowmik suggested this place for summer holidays in 2020 . I booked. After pandemic, he told me that validity of boong is stillthere. Its Ramdhura Woods. The homestay is well maintained. Place is serene. Food served is tasty n healthy. You do not need mineral water here. The owner i extremely well behaved. I recommend the place for its natural beauty, serenity . Pictures of spacious room and beautiful balcony are shared.

The property is fantastic. Eye soothing green landscapes all over the place, earthy fragrances from the surrounding ponds will definitely spill your dil. I was in an aqua suit here which is worthy of each penny, although a bathtub could add some silver lining on it (definitely with some extra bucks). The staffs here are cooperative and responsive. Cherry on the cake is just a couple of hours drive from Kolkata. CAUTIONARY WARNING, if you go there in monsoon the ambience might behave like cupid and make you fall in love.. Hahah...!! An ideal place to spend a day or two!The Nomadic Weekends properties are in themselves a place of attraction. The location of the properties is unparalleled, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, built within a vast area. A few days back, my friends and I were checking the Nomadic Weekends website, looking for properties, when we came to know about ‘Kaikhali Farm Stay’. We decided to book it as we wanted to spend the weekend amidst nature. After a 3-hour long journey, the place was worth it! I would say I was flabbergasted when I visited the location. The owner was welcoming in nature, and as soon as we reached there, we were greeted with a welcome drink, ‘daab er jol’. The food was very homely and hygienic, prepared by the locals with utmost care and love. The accommodation facilities were excellent; the rooms were spacious enough, perfect for two persons. The best part is, the property is very well-maintained!Overall, my friends and I are delighted with the experience; everything was excellent and up to the mark. Besides, the whole trip was easy on the pockets. Giving 5 out of 5 stars to the property.

Recently visited The Creek Resort in Santiniketan, it was very good for staying and luxurious. Food quality was very good. Stuff behaviour were good.Thanks Nomadic for giving me this option.

They are not transparent as I checked their website and called up to book a place preferably not in ground floor, which they totally said in that particular property all rooms are in ground floor. 1st floor rooms dont exist. Later I called up that property and got myself booked 1st & 2nd floor rooms.

I have visited shantiniketan so many time but this time in holi festival I preferred to stay in the resort selected by nomadic. Properties are very nice... But they are not reasonable for everyone. They mention tariffs per person per day you want to go with your family it will be costly. However nomadic is very useful for those who wants to travel solo. Their customer dealing is good.

Its a nice place i must say, location is awesome thats what we hv chosen this resort. Food quality is standard . Cleaning is not at all upto the mark. We preferred food at room because of our kids but thay r not even bothered to clean the dinners used plates upto nx day 12.30p.m. We went 23rd march to 26th march 2021. Complimentary breakfast is not good, less variety and even juice thry r giving not full glassEnvironment was very good because there was only 2-3 more families in the whole resort. Swimming pool is ok but not very clean.Overall more good and few bad experiences . Definitely will re visit this place if they tKe care of these issifrom the nx time.

We stayed at Tukvar tea garden cottage aka Koilee homestead, booked the property just a day before check-in. The whole process was very smooth, thanks to Nomadic weekends. About the cottage, its around 7km away from Darjeeling, situated in a beautiful location, and last but not the least, it would be an injustice to not call the owners superhosts. Had an amazing time. Would recommend as well.

We have visited Tukvar Homestay and Tinchulay Luxury Resort. Tukvar is a serene place amidst the vast tea garden.. wide openness facing Himalayan peaks. Though we were not able to see the glacial peak, we enjoyed the calmness of nature, warm hospitality of the owners of homestay... Delicious food..Tinchulay Luxury Resort is really a luxurious resort.. The restaurant and Tibetan / Chinese food is worth mentionin...

We have been to their property at Peshok home stay. It was a wonderful experience.

We had booked a group stay through Nomadic last Easters at Lava Lolegaon and Tinchuley. Unfortunately due to the lock down we couldnt travel. Best part was Nomadic responded positively each time we called up. Finally we took the trip 30thDec to 3rd Jan. As per theirsuggestion we put upon a homestay in Kalimpong. It was a superb, comfortable, and very well located property. Food was awesome and hospitality too. The property in Tinchuley too was excellent minus the approach road. Thanks to Nomadic specially Shubhodip who understood what exactly we needed during Covid times. Hygiene and sanitation were in place. Will recommend Nomadic and look forward to more holidays through them

I and my fellow mates made a trip to Kolakham for two days & nights couple of days back by contacting Nomadic Weekend. The expectations was high for the location but when we were physically there.. it was immensely beautiful, raw, aesthetic, etc. We planned our stay at Lungchu Nature Stay and I must say that the hospitality, the arrangements and the maintainence of the property is extremely up to the mark. 💯There are uncountable rustic trekking paths from the homestay and every way is soul nurturing and explorable in very different ways.Thank you so much Nomadic Weekend for the experience! 🖤

Had planned a trip to Shantiniketan along with friends. Had booked the Creek through Nomadic Weekends. The stay was absolutely lovely. Rooms were nice, clean and cosy...the food was good enough...the property is very well maintained. The staff too were very good..

Visited Charkhole Kanchen resort during 31st Dec 2020 for 2 days....excellent location and nice resort with total 10 rooms (2 rooms in each tower).....food arrangements are also good with camp fire facility. Huge space around and breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga.....We enjoyed a lot. Rooms are also good with geyser available. A bit problem of power cut but during evening generators available. You can also hike to nearest Gomphu Dara trail around 1-1.5KM uphill) within pine forest.

The best arrangement to stay at tinchuley and have a fantastic view of Kanchanjunga from the room. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The view of Kanchanjunga is obstructed by a few tree branches which is to be taken care of for the sake of visitors. Till now nearest (2 min walking distance) to the gumbadara 360° view point. Fooding arrangements are also not bad but slightly on the higher side which is not a big issue considering the remote location. Staffs are very cooperative and prompt in action. Overall very good experience.

We were going North Bengal by car. Mahaldiram, Darjiling,Jhepi and Bijonbari . In all place we booked a room for my driver,they take money for this for this but when we reached Mahaldiram we saw there was no Drivers room, they can serve only food for him,then we booked another homestay for him. They take rs1600 for this place. Nomadic is not refund this money. And almost same things in Bijanbari. There have no Drivers room. But they take charges from us. After 4hours they arrange a room in a villagers house. We repeatedly asked them about drivers accomodation and then book all those places,but they are take money from us but not give us service. Please dont booked hotel from Nomadic. Who drove the car 18 to 20 hrs per day if he can not get rest properly How he can drive the car smoothly next-day. Nomadic have NO HUMANITY, they only thought about there profit.

The place and hospitality is very good ..but the location far far remote ..if you are own driving then it might be hectic for you ..from falakata it is 28kms ..but the location,hospitality and food served by them is really good

We traveled at lataguri, jhandi, loleygaon, sittong one week ago. All the properties provided by nomadic were good. Special mention about loleygaon home stay which was really awesome.. The home stay at sittong was good but the behavior of the Bengali owner was not good...very unprofessional...so I would not recommend this home stay...

Just seeing in fb..till now not going any of location with them..but very unique and friendly trip they are arranged..

We booked a weekend trip for 3 families ( including a five year old kid and an elderly person) to Katowa jol bari. It was a wonderful change amidst nature away from our locked down lives. I suggest anyone interested to book the same placr to go through nomadic travels instead of contacting the property directly as the property qiotes a higher proce for the same offering that nomadic travels arranges for you.

I travelled few places like Mahaldhiram TeaEstate, ChottaMangwa, Kenduli, Bishnupur Eco Retreat near Joypur Forest. I must say all of the places are really wonderful. The behaviour of hotel management was very good. Rooms were neat and clean with modern amenities, having wonderful scenic beauty and wonderful place to relax. If someone wants to spend some relaxed time in an offbeat places, Nomadic is the right choice. The have plenty of options in all ranges. It has started to expand beyond WestBengal. I highly recommend nomadic. So far I have found them as trustworthy.

If you want to spend some time with your family near Kolkata over the weekends , then do contact them. They have tie ups with several hotels, guest houses, homestays and the like. The best part is the location of these places- amazing!!! Oh, and price- it’s way reasonable. Talk to them on advance though, as the demand has spiked and you may not get rooms in proper places. Enjoy!

Through Nomadic Weekends my husband booked a deluxe room (from 7th March to 10th March) at Camellia Resort and Spa in Shantiniketan. This travel agency took Rupees Thirty one Thousand from us. Our experience in Camellia Resort and Spa was extremely horrible. The deluxe room that was provided to us was not properly cleaned on regular basis. The hotel was understaffed. Very poor management and room service. The bed sheets had stains. The bathroom was dirty , not properly cleaned. Hot water was not available for 24 hours. From morning till 12 noon hot water was available, after that there was no hot water. There was dirt in every corner of the hotel, very poor maintenance. In the dining hall, there was no wash basin, so after lunch or dinner, we have to enter the bathroom to wash our hands. Even on requests, they were reluctant to provide finger bowls. Extremely poor service. The table covers were dirty. They should change the name from Camellia resort and spa to Camellia lodge. Nomadic Weekends is just fooling people, in the name of luxurious resort and spa in Shantiniketan, they are providing horrible service. It was our mistake that we trusted Nomadic Weekends.

A strong recommendation for all those who want to try an off beat unexplored place. Great choice of properties. Had a good experience and look forward for the next trip very soon.

Ive traveled A LOT in my life, but North Bengal was the best trip Ive ever taken and it had everything to do with using this travel company and this agent to plan our Honeymoon. Everything from the initial trip planning process to the actual trip itself was seamless and made for an unforgettable experience.

Rina ChunderWe went with our family to stay at the resort for 2 nights on the weekend from 17 August - 19 August 2019 and had booked vide the Nomadic Weekends almost one month in advance. We had booked 3 Executive rooms and were repeatedly assured that we would be given all lawn facing rooms on the first or second floor. Incidentally, we were taking our mother for a post surgery recuperation. On arrival we found we were given 3 slum facing rooms on the 3rd floor! Despite repeated requests and arguments including with the Nomadic Weekends and GM of the resort, they could not help in any way since all rooms were sold out and could only give us one lawn facing room that day by when it was tea time. The next day we had to again pack unpack and change rooms when they could give us 2 more lawn facing rooms after lunch only.But worse was awaiting us...both on Saturday and Sunday groups of corporate crowds from Jharkhand and Bihar were booked all over the hotel who were so loud, crass and indecent that it was not possible to either sit in the dining room with them or use the lawn or pool facilities of the resort.They brought escort service women who also stayed over and occupied the other half of the dining hall. We were specifically asked by the security to not go to the lawn and poolside in the evenings as dance parties were going on. We were witness to the indecent behaviours also.We had to therefore remain cooped up whole days in our rooms.Its a shame that the said Resort and Nomadic Weekends should make family bookings at such a hotel and totally fail to keep their room commitments after repeated confirmation and taking 100% of the payment in advance! And the charges are no mean amount but pretty expensive also.Trip type Family

We had enquired for Nomadic Bamboo Resort in Ghoom. As I am aware, that Ghoom is near Darjeeling, so I planned to stay at Ghoom and explore Darjeeling from this resort. We called up Nomadic and enquired about their Bamboo resort and they briefed us. We did not find any such resort in Ghoom while searching at Google, so could not compare the prices or read reviews on it. Got bit suspicious about its location. Luckily, asked some of my friends who travel a lot in these areas and one of them identified this resort as Baas Bari in Bijanbari. Now, Bijanbari is around 35 kms from Ghoom and its completely misleading. Why would I stay at some place which is 35 kms away from the actual location they are saying? Its like searching for a hotel in Kolkata and they give you a hotel in Singur. Although I did not book with them but found their approach to be very misleading. Its ridiculous!

On 9th May 2018 we had booked a resort called Binuria Reasort through Nomadic weekends . They had charged 2450+GST per head including child above 9 years with lunch and dinner. It was very very overpriced and food served in package was very basic and quality was pathetic.Actual name of the resort they declare after the full advance payement so that people will not have any chance to compare the price.In this case actual name of the resort was “Mayas” located near Shantiniketan. It’s a very small resort with a very small pool, poor man power with poor quality Food . That hotel is located in the middle of a village . We had been provided a room of actual tariff about 2500 per day and if you book through Nomadic with a child you will pay eventually more than 7500. very disappointed with Nomadic.
