It one of the important station in bally . It helps to communicate passengers with sealdha section, But tickit counter condition of this station is so poor still here no computerized ticketing system., from here you can only get bally halt to dankuni and bally halt to parkcurcus tickets.

Bally Halt railway station is a station of Eastern Railway in Howrah. It is 16 km away from Sealdah and 6 km from Dankuni Junction. Ticket counter of this station is situated at the end( towards Dumdum) of platform. This platform does not have sufficient shaded area till now. There is FOOD STALL near that TICKET COUNTER. Availability of train in this route is very low. There is a WOMAN TOILET besides the restroom at 2no. platform and dirty toilet for gents at both ends of the stations.

Important station for Sealdah to main line travelers

Bally halt is an important Railway station coming under Sealdah-Dankuni route. Lots of passengers commute from this station to travel to Sealdah or Bidhannagar. Bally station (Howrah route) is located nearby.But sadly non existing passenger amenities. Not even basic ones. And very less train frequency, both up & down.

There is only one seating area on such a large platform. Its very bad for passengers

Still to become a full fledged Railway station. Needs erection of more sheds, improved drinking water, toilet facilities and improved ticketing system for passengers . Also need to increase number of trains.Thousands of passengers from Howrah-Burdwan main line & HWH-BWN chord line daily travel through this route. But numbers of trains are still less.

The station is not well maintained and furnished. There is no ATVM and only one ticket counter. Two platforms are there one for Up Dankuni and another down to Sealdah. Train frequency is also a bit slower.

It is the main gateway for the people who are regularly travel saltlake, sealdah or sealdah south section. Although trains are very limited, almost 1 train per hour. For that during office hours there is too much crowded. Almost every long distance trains departs from sealdah are going through in this dankuni sealdah route. For that limited EMU are available here. This route is very cost effective also. In future if trains are increased in numbers and running in nearly correct time this is very convenient route for daily passengers and the journey is not hectic at all if the trains are less crowded.

Situated at the link line of sealdah and dankuni section. Its under the kolkata suburban railways.

Bally halt station comes under the dankuni sealdah route.trains r available for sealdah,dumdum and dankuni and baruipara.trains are not frequent here.it is having 12 coach trains per hour.1st train in the morning towards sealdah is at 5 a.m and last train towards dankuni is at 10.15 pm. It is a busy station as the goods train and the express train keeps running all the day over here.

Bally halt railway station is a Eastern railway it is 16 kilometre away from sealdah railway station and 6 km from dankuni junction on the sealdah dankuni line of Eastern railway it is part of the Kolkata sub subhan railway system dankuni and Bardhaman local trainconnect this place to sealdah station and other station of the sealdah main line it is an important railway station between dumdum and ankan railway station...sealdah dankuni line was opened in 1865 and convert it to electrification in 1965 on that time the f r e i g h t service was passed on this line which was profitable on for a railways and the emu trains

Too Many Passengers has travelling during RUSH HOURS. whenever you will travel at this root. You have to be careful...

Station is satisfactory.No announcement before coming the trains, no mark for emu stops, ladies, vendors etc.Sometimes very difficult to locate & find out every details.

Train service is regular and at an interval of around an hour and the route is the fastest as it covers the minimum distance to travel in least time.Best for office time and for leisure visit to Dakshineswar.

This is an important rail station as it is close to Howrah main line Bally station. One can change rail route between Sealdah and Howrah division.Though this station is neglected very much in view of passenger amenities.

Dont know why its a halt although its the busiest statin in the seadah dankuni line...no shade....no proper announcement system.

Thousands of people transit daily by this route and from this station but system is still #Angrejo ke zamane ke ....yet not computer tickets, no foot-over bridge....and ya non maintaining of trains time-table...

Bally halt is the station on the Sealdah Dankuni section and this station is just above the Bally station on the Howrah Barddhaman Main and Chord line. All trains of Dankuni and Baruipara stops here. Shed is present and covered area for seating is there. Ticket counter is still un computerized. Getting here is easy just by public transport.

I cant understand why indian railway make this station a halt it was so useful for the people. because it connects a lot of route as there a nearby station bally which lies between howrah bardhaman main as well as chord line.station was too small and shades are too short as compared to the crowd use this station.

This railway station is very important in Dankuni-Sealdah section. Thousands of people use it daily.Despite its importance the station doesnt have proper lighting, no proper waiting room and most importantly there is no shade to provide you relief from scorching sun.The station still issues tokens and not computerised tickets.

The railway station is an important communication point between Howrah main line and Dunkuni Sealdaha railstation. Every day Thousands of People goes through the station. But no public facility available in the station area. Even sitting arrangement is not sufficient for the passengers. Trains are not running in proper time. Ticket purchase system is also through manual ticlets. Very much chances to loss of time in this station.

One of the bussiest route . very helpful to the office goers but the gap between train timing is a bit more and also infrastructure is not very developed

Below this station you will find the Bally station.From this station you can go Dankuni or Sealdah. You also can go down stairs to Bally station and go to Howrah or you can catch a train to main line or chord line. You can go to Dankuni junction from Bally and Bally Halt station both.

It is a junction, both Bardhaman main and cord touch Bally station. The famous temple Dakshineswar is situated just across the the river Hooghly. Busses are available from the bridge to various places in Kolkata Salt Lake New Town.

Bali station of howrah line is situated Beneath this station.......two railway tracks are available.... towards Dankuni and towards Sealdah....every train usually 5 to 10 minutes late every time.... Train service is not usually good. This station is important in this track..... platform is silent... Well maintained platform ....... usually clean Everytime.... Shades required..... Localities are usually helpful....... The station is usually crowd in office time

Virtually a forgotten railway station, many railway listings dont include bally halt, instead bally ghat. The train is sparse... The sole dankuni local will pass at more than an hour interval, and not punctual as may be expected.

A very important Railway Station. It lies in the Sealdah - Dankuni section. Here, the Sealdah bound tracks passes over the Howrah bound tracks. As a result, the station is stepped in by thousands of commuters daily..Transportation facilities are very good. Trains and buses are easily available. Sealdah bound trains are very less and quite crowded during the office hours.There are also many small food stalls beside the road connecting Bally Halt with Bally station.

Recently the station has renovated and the new clean look is very attractive one. For main line passengers like bandel etc this station is the most important one and famous stop for Dankuni local. I often use this station to catch Dankuni local.

This station is one of the most important stations in the Dankuni-Sealdah train route. Many commuters from Bandel-Howrah, Tarakeehwar-Howrah train route, destined for Dumdum and Sealdah, board trains from here.There are very less sunshades on the platforms, and only one 2nd class waiting room, that too with less fans and lights.

Most busy station in dankuni line. Junction point of howrah and sealdah. Lakhs of passengers commuted here still it is a halt station tiny shades create problem during heavy sun and rain. and tickets for all stations are not available here. Railway should make it a flag station.
