Dasnagar railway small halt howrah

Dasnagar station is well maintained and big in area that allows passengers to easily board or depart from train. There is green trees on both sides of the station.There are 3 platforms in this station. The ticket counter for the trains is near the stairs which lead to this station.

This is a south eastern branch railway station, next to howrah junction.

It is the 2nd station of Howrah - Santragachi Section of South Eastern Railway. It does not have a Foot-bridge facilty and no time-table for any train. Sometimes no announcement is even done.There is staircases and way to roads nereby from the Northern End of the platform. From here you can get autos, totos and buses to Howrah , Bankra , etc.There are trains from here to Midnapore , Kharagpore , Mecheda , Panskura , Amta and other places. Toilets are there but locked permanently. It is crowded during morning and afternoon commuter hours and is deserted after evening. Since the place is situated in an industrial belt , the place is very polluted but the station premises are quite clear. Drinking water facility is there but the water is not so good.

One of the busiest railway station for the workers because its an industrial belt of Howrah. Most of the workers came from the semi-urban areas.

Long station near howrah junction.. Bt it is not a junction... So every train does not stopped here...it no much crowded.. There is most probably 5 platforms..while returning my house in the train I visited from here ...there a little amount of people ....ar ter all the station is nice.....

A small suburban Railway Station in Howrah-Kharagpur Section of South Eastern Railway but has great importance. Many people who work in the small factories of Howrah use this Station to go to their workplaces. So the station remains crowded during the morning and in the evening with the daily commuters. Availability of bus services to different places of Howrah District has increased the importance of this Station. But the cleanliness issue has a scope of improvement.

There are some pros & cons of this particular station.PROS: Very accessible, Easily connected with many places, small but well maintained (hygenically), Ticket staffs are good.CONS: Being a regular passenger of Dasnagar I genuinely feel that they really need to announce down train. They dont even switch on the FANS of the station. Trains are always late.

A intermediate station between Howrah to Kharagpur/Mecheda line. Small but receives alot of local crowd mostly bound towards Howrah for work, study.

Railway station is good.But there should be an over bridge so that people can safely change their platform instead of crossing railway tracks.

Important railway station in SE. But infrastructure is very poor.

From ticket counter you can go to Chapala Debi Balika Vidyalaya in just 2 minute. From ticket counter you exist then go to left side and when you go you will see a statue then go right side to go the school.

Dasnagar Railway Station is the most popular & busy station in south eastern railway.

Never got down here from train. But whenever I go to howrah from out of state. It halts in dasnagar

Das Nagar station is fairly good but it has to come to take ticket. And on that station the express train goes on.

The only problem of this railway station is that all trains are running always late. over all the station clean and they have a public toilet and drinking water facilities in it. and the ticket counter is not always having a long queue. There are many seats and also have fan and lights in the station there is one time table and there are three lines mostly trains comes in 2 lines one is up another is down. you can get trains for Medinipur panskura and station like this from here trains are not always crowded.

Location is the right place right beside the main dasnagar road but the place is bit congested. Traffic related congestion is happening more often in this road, so you should always take a bit more time in your hand to reach the station by this road.

Dasnagar station is the 3rd in line from Howrah, after Tikiapara.In this SE railway stn ,number of trains passes everyday is very low.2 tkt counters are there,in dn side only.Total 3 platforms and four tracks go through the stn.Toilets should be cleaned regularly.Nos. Cycle & motorbike parking is available nearby.One can avail a bus in a minute if he misses a train, for Howrah.Plarforms are renovated and long.

Its a station between Ramrajatala and Tikiapara. Theres one down line and three up line. Platform no 2 & 3 are for up 🚆 and platform no 1 is for down 🚆. This is south-eastern railway of Howrah. Theres shade, sitting arrangements and toilet for passengers. A ghugni hawker sells his food which is cheap and very tasty. Theres also a couple of use me bin so please use them.

Its a small station of Howrah-Kharagpur section in south eastern railway..........Its a good station ......But there is a few problems ,that station doesnt have foot over bridge though its busy track........But love this......Its my birth place, during my college days I speant some great funny time here at the station platform........
