The worst bookseller in the world one can ask for.. I ordered four books on 10th september and it’s the end of september they are not able to deliver four book from howrah to kudghat and you are getting india post items within 4-5 days from chennai to kolkata.. i called them twice till date and the receptionist said that books were packed and ready but the delivery agent wasn’t picking them up.. it’s fine upto this.. but today I got a text that one book Isn’t available and you have to pay again for it. Why? I was supposed to give those books as birthday present and I’m sure that I’ll be able to gift those when he will turn 80.. This setup should get a rating of minus infinity…

I ordered 3 books via online payment but received only 2 books. Very disappointed. They are Looting money from customers.Editing my review.. its been months and I didnt received any payments for the other book that has not been delivered..Wont trust the site and will never order again..To the people.. dont order online or pay online..this is fraud

I ordered 2 books from Boichoi through Amazon. They delivered on time even during COVID-19 semi lockdown. Frankly I dont know how they managed.

Pathetic Website & Service. I have ordered a book on 1st of May, till now no update. No delivery, no packaging, nothing. They simply not pick up the call or even answer whatsapp message. Totally waste. I wish I could give them 0 star rating. I will share my experience on different Facebook group so that no one should order from this site.

Update: I have received the book, a few days after my original review and also got an update vide email before that. As my review was quite scathing I suppose it is only fair I give them the credit when its due. The book was packed pretty well and reached me without any damage. Inside the book, no sign of any torn pages etc. Im changing the rating of my review also as I suppose I went a bit overboard before considering the present situation. Below would be my original review, which Im now taking as a reaction to an unfortunate turn of events. Heres wishing them a good future and more success!Ordered, actually pre-ordered a book on 18th of March, till date no news or update!!! Waited for almost a month while the book came out in the first week of April as far as my knowledge, as the ongoing pandemic situation can make things difficult. I hoped that I would at least receive a mail/message regarding the delay which wouldve been reassuring enough! Even an automated reply wouldve sufficed! At last when I did send a mail enqueuing the situation, with proof of payments attached, they say to send a clear image...!!! Funny thing is I am using a 14 Monitor and seeing the image clearly, dont know what kind of monitor they are using! Regardless I sent them another mail with sharpening the image, to the extent possible, with the payment data written in clear Text and that was 6 days ago and Im yet to receive the elusive reply from them!Im no longer in need of the book and I think rather than go to the extent of wasting my time on any more communication, I will just let go of the amount. However, to anyone reading this review please be cautious and think at least once before ordering any book online from this seller in future!P.S. - I waited for 10 days, which I believe a reasonable time span in this age of e-commerce, since my first mail to the Seller to give them the benefit of the doubt ( and also it was a seller from my own city). However, at this point it seems either my bad English is the root reason for them not understanding the issue or that they dont have any means to access the e-web to verify their own firms transactions.

Firstly when I put the order the webpage was showing itll take 6-8 days to deliver. But in actual scenario it takes more than that. Thanks to their bizzare courier service.The delivery guy called 11.30 in the morning to know the exact location of the delivery. When I asked him where is he so that I can guide him, he said he is in train coming. After few hours in the afternoon I called him and asked where is he. He said he was going some other location to deliver the books and when hell return he will deboard to my local railway station and deliver the books.Im writing this review at 20.00 and I again called him...he said he is on the train coming, also he asked me if he can get the train to go back to his home as itll be too late for him.Its almost 10 hrs since he called me first in the morning and I didnt receive the package . Though its not my concern, my concern is that guy who is worried about spending the night in railway station.Why you dont patch up with a courier company? Or even speed post from post office? Very disappointing.

Worst experience. I have ordered two books on 10th May. I still didnt get those books. I have paid the whole amount. People either dont pick up the call or behave so rudely. Please dont buy from here.

Worst Service, you will not get any update whats happening with your order and one fine morning you will find that your order is showing as Complete on the website but not delivered to you.

Worst website.They take 12 to 15 days to deliver books. In few cases you wont even get the book you have order. They will take even more time to process the refund. One of my refund is pending since 12/4/2021 but they dient process it yet. Their helpline no is switchedoff.

Pathetic delivery service and non professional. Waiting for a month and now they said book not available. Guys people dont order. Its a local book store. When you ordered, they collect the book from college street and resell it without discount. If you bought 12 books then they charged 12*95 for delivery purpose. But still not guaranteed when you receive the book or if received how was the condition of the book. 2 of my colleagues complained that they receive old books with clean cover. Pathetic.

Totally fraud book seller. They cheat with the sentiment of the reader. The use fake signature of the writer and advertise them to the reader as few copies are left. They dont pick up the phone, nor they reply in whatsapp if any problem arise. They run as a dont care attitude. Book usually reach after 2months of order. Everyone please dont order from here. Reader should ban them

If I do not receive my books today, my advice would be never ever order from this site. Repeated emails goes unanswered and no tracking details are provided.

Good stock of school books

The customer service is very rude. Very basic type of website. Taking 15 days to delivery a book when it is not within the kolkata.

On September 25, 2019 I received my ordered books and surprised that there is a huge mistake from boichoi end.I ordered 9 books and got only 8 and same book received in twice time.Missing book : Chine Potka Puja Edition 1426 AND Aparupa 1426Duplicate book : Uttarayan (received same book in twice)I contacted several times but there were no responses. I got scammed. Shame :(My order ID is #13854

Ordered some books online on 28/9/2018. Payment was made online through bank account. Since then, they have neither sent the books nor replying to any mail.

Third class service provider , ordered and pay through phonepe but no order history no response , its been 2 months now . Had drop lots of mail but no response . I lost my money. Please keep distance from this fake online book store .

একদমই অপেশাদার পরিষেবা।উপহার দেবার জন্যে online prepaid order করেছিলাম, নয় দিন পর order shipped হয়েছে, 12 দিন হয়ে গ্যাছে, এখনো delivery পাইনি, যেই উপলক্ষ্যে order দিয়েছিলাম সেটাও পেরিয়ে গ্যাছে!বই যদি stock এ থাকে তাহলে এত দেরি করে shipping কেন? (COD option নেই, delivery charge আলাদা) আর যদি stock এ না থাকে তাহলে website এ in stock দেখিয়ে order নেয়া হলো কেন ?Utterly disappointed...

This is not the address of the college square. People have filled the bookcase of College Square with pictures of it. Whatever it is. In College Square or Boipara, Boichai is just opposite Puntiram.

Great experience. Firstly the price of the book was fixed, secondly I got the book in time, totaly professional.
