It was established by a devotee Sri Jitendranath Das in1976. Its location is on the Canal Road ( now it is known as Dr. Bholanath Chakraborty Sarani) Ichapur, Howrah. Anandamoyee Ma is Mother Goddess Kali. In addition to the Mother temple, there are temples of Lord Soni Maharaj, Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Lords Ram & Sita and Lord Hanuman. The area is small but the environment is clean, calm and peaceful. Everyday spiritual discourses on the Gita, Kathamitra, Upanishads,Bhagbat etc are held. Many devotees are assembled here. The interesting thing is that theres a separate meditation or prayer hall in the Ist floor. Every year Rathajatra festival is carried out very attractively.
