Quality of food just fatafati... specially sandwich... So yummy... ambiance is also good.. but too much slow to serve food.. but still want to visit again....

Really a great experience being their. This cafe is small but will take a large space from your heart . After we stepped into the cafe we feel like going to another world of artists and food enthusiasts .This place is very calm because has no disturbing sound from road . This place will definitely attract youth very quickly with its great sense of modern decoration and the way they make the place so photogenic . Great decor the staffs are very good and calm and the food is fabulous . This is one of the best cafes I have ever visited . Each and every thing is well decorated in walls you will have posters of great musicians and artists they also play music and the shop owner is really very good he also give live performance in the cafe . you can take as many pictures you want and can spend a quality time with your family or friends in a quite good price. We have ordered one cafe latte , one chicken cheese balls and one black coffee . They serve in a beautiful manner well garnished and neat and clean .This place really impressed us and we will try to visit this place again and again . great job CAFE BY THE LANE

Its more a cafe on this side of the river! Even though its a small place, I would highly recommend it as a great place to hang out with friends. At the end the owner played guitar for us which was cherry on top of the cake! I am surprised with the variety of menu options offered here. Great food! Great ambiance and great service!

I have heard of this place but have never been here. Today I got the opportunity to visit this wonderful place. This place has got a beautiful ambience and the food quality is extremely good. It has got different varieties of food. Being in such a good place is really awesome. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

Food was awful..! looks good for couples, but not at all a kids friendly cafe. Anyway we tried the cafe for the 1st time n hopefully the last time. Not recommended

I am totally in love with this place! I ordered a Pasta Augratin and a Bacon Chicken sandwich and both of them were amazing.The food is made in an adjacent kitchen and you can see it as its being made. Totally fresh and amazing. Even the prices are moderate and the portion sizes are good. All of it is accompanied by an amazing ambiance and great music. Jazz, Blues and Rock, the old-school music will soothe your ears and the lighting and decors are pretty pleasing to the eye. I came to check this place out all the way from Chandannagar on the word of one of my friends and by God Im amazed. 10/10 would recommend.

Dish tried- Chicken and Bacon Sandwich.Perfect dish to eat in the evening when craving for something bit healthy and filling.It comes with ample amount of chicken but the bacon was pretty less when compared with the chickens quantity.It comes with french fries as a side dish which is okayish.Taste wise its very good with mixture of chicken bacon onion and capsicum with some of their marinated sauce.If u r hungry and looking for a not so heavy meal then u can definitely go for this.Price-People would find the price High but trust me it is so delicious and filling u wont complain about the price afterwards.Give it a try! 👌

You have to pay by cash or PayTM.Its a nice cozy place to visit.

I was very much Excited when I saw that the restaurant is serviceable to my home through Zomato... So I Ordered Without Wasting... When they delivered my Chicken Francese I got excited to have my 1st bite... The aroma coming from that dish was just incredibly awesome... I loved it in my 1st bite... Finally, we have a great café where we can have some seriously good food at dirt cheap prices.Located at Shibpur Tram Depot area, opposite Ghoriwala math, this tiny café can accommodate around 8 people. The interior is tastefully done and you can pick up a book of your choice from their collection and read it while sipping your favorite hot chocolate.The cafe serves delicious dishes and the portions are decent.We had ordered Sandwiches, Pasta and a number of Chicken & Fish items and loved each of them.They also serve great breakfast on Sundays for just Rs.200-Rs.250 (all inclusive).Recommended!
