Airport is alright, not too modern but quite busy; toilets are accessible, labels are helpful, lots of vendors and restaurants too. I like departing and arriving at this airport versus the older Sheremetyevo airport and Vkukovo airports.

Beautiful and well organized Airport, very easy access, cooperative team.

It was very huge. I think one of the biggest with in Russia. Full of attractions for travellers. People can try different cuisines. The only problem is lack of information or effective management of information about flights especially if you are a foreigner and non Russian speaking.

Like it. Quick check in and passport control. No delays, no crowds. Sufficient space at the boarding gates. Ok restaurants. 👍

Very good experience and crowdy atmosphere

Airport is great. Good facilities. Taxi from Moscow city center is around 1300-1500 rub. Takes one hour to get there with no traffic.

Lets get straight with the cons of this place . Firstly , their is hardly any staff that knows English their to communicate with the international passengers.Secondly it is very crowded . This might be due to the reason of being one of the busiest airport.Thirdly, their is no vegetarian food available for the vegetarians , this is just unacceptable , my girlfriend had to wait the whole time with an empty stomach.Pros are just common . A beautiful infrastructure which is now a days a common motive for all modern architecture.And obviously the cleanliness part was taken care very keenly. The airport was neat, clean and tidy , a hygienic place to wait.

Mostly crowded, not many things to do in leisure. If no lengthy layovers, works fine. People may get bored if waiting time is more.

Its ok. Pretty modern and security no longer takes 4 hours to get through. On the other hand only two bathrooms in the main area (prior to security). One of them was closed for a while. Imagine the line! Naturally, the length of the wait seems to stretch just as the bladder shrinks

İt is just great airport. Has many gates but also so much crowded. Has many little shops for souvenirs, food, coffee and clothes. İf Try to decide which airport is best for u in moscow, u can choose domedovo without any doubts.

Extremely expensive all the services and food. Foidcort is small,no enought places to eat.No enought places to seat in waiting areas and gates.No measures for Covid 19protection. Half of the passengers are not wearing masks and nobody gives the noticeAll stuff are impolite,starting from first baggage control. If you want to be insulted -this is the place.It is so far from Moscow.The only good thing is train that goes directly to the centre of the city

The airport is considered big. It has been tried to catch a modern line, but the waiting areas are insufficient, and there may be chaos at peak times. I think improvement is required.

Very beautiful airport. I was here before too but right now its very modern and usefull. Before not so much place writing in English but right now everywhere writing English and Russian language together. I like it.

The airport has all the facilities but, the staff is not trained to speak English and give correct information to the tourists who cant speak Russian.

1. Be prepared for a long queue to every washroom. And Im talking about gents washroom.2. Inside the washrooms there will be only one working hand wash tap and only one working soap dispenser. Not next each other.3. Gate 31 doesnt have any waiting seats, but has a coffee shop right next to it. Making money is more important than passengers comfort. You will see hundreds of people sitting on the windows.4. In general passengers convenience is at the end of the priority list here.

The immigration staff are very nice it was a very good experience. Very quick no waiting. Staff in shops excellent. Very nice airport.

Modern and well organized airport. I am missing spaces to relax more quietly especially during busy times.

Good design and all, but no covid measures are taken seriously and it can get quite busy at times. If youre proper jet lagged.. theres a special 3 circles of hell there for you at the gates. Going down feels like Dantes Divine Comedy was describing this place.

Not bad, toilets was dirty, not everywhere you can find antiseptic, no free Wi-Fi, drinking water expensive.

The experience is good, at the entrance there will be baggage scanning including all cabin bags and personal belongings. Now Covid-19 report is mandatory and they need it in Russian language. Here final security check is before the immigration area. If you want KFC or McDonalds then you should have it before going to the immigration.

This airport is a disgrace.It is crammed, not because there is not enough space but because there are a thousand awful and overpriced shops.There is no air conditioning, or if there is it is set to 28 C.The lines in this airport are some of the longest I’ve seen.The toilets are dark, dirty and smell like cigarettes.The staff will scream at you

Spacious, clear guidance, no lines and no irritating waiting queues.Duty-free shops, eating and drinking venues are quite good and pretty reasonably priced

This is an excellent airport with well trained and enthusiastic staff. Good duty free outlets at reasonable prices for an airport. Downside with this and all the Moscow airports are the ripoff taxi drivers hustling for business. Something really needs to be done about this.

Good airport, but most of the time delays

Visited in January 2020.Terrible experience with this airport. Staff spoke a very poor english and were really hard to understand, plus they were super rude. Asked so many questions for god knows what reason, cant get more russian than this.So far this is the worst airport that I visited.

Airport is good, huge, neat and clean with almost every possible service available. But you should avoid the officially sanctioned taxi desk straight after customs and just before the exit barrier they will charge you Rub7200 for a taxi to the city centre whereas the other officially sanctioned taxi companies a few metres away on the other side of the barrier will charge Rub3000 or less.

Could not get any fresh air outside. Cigarette smoke everywhere.Long lines to those few restrooms.Long walks to departure gates.Not enough seats in waiting area.

Big airport outside Moscow

An airport in a capital for a country like Russia should be better and more modern.Need to be more organized and Signs need to be more clear.

My family & I made brief rest stops there in early June and July 2010 during our family trip to the Philippines (via Singapore Airlines coming from/to Houston, TX). Was our first ever visit to anyplace Russia. Great airport and experience. I especially enjoyed the view of the old, retired aircraft parked in the near distance boneyard that could be seen from the gate. We were treated nicely by the Russians there (even though their English was very limited). Picture below is our SA 777-300ER being serviced during our brief layover as we were headed back home to Houston in early July 2010.

Airport is not so big so takes less time to check out. Good service

A functional and comfortable airport with the amenities that you would expect. There are a layer or two extra to work through due to Russia, but if you get here a bit early youll be fine. Enough shops for last min gifts or chocolates. If you walk around a bit, plenty of places to sit and relax.

I would have rated it 5 star, but theres too much walking in the airport.

Clean, modern airport. Only real downside is trying to locate an employee who speaks English, but other than that it was perfectly adequate to spend a few hours in for a flight transfer.

Well organised airport. Quite big but easy to navigate. Staff is very professional and not arrogant or mean like in most European and American airports. Duty free is not very big but has quite a bit of Russian vodka and other alcohols with good deals. There are good coffee shops also serving good coffee and sandwiches, etc. They only except Rubles or credit cards.

We got treated like animals something wasnt right with the documents we placed in a pen looking out towards our flight there was nothing wrong with our flights or documents so we ended up missing our flights so thats a grand gone down the drain

I had expected a great bureaucratic bother, but staff were friendly, helpful and fast! A wonderful experience and one that I hope to repeat!

Check-in was a breeze at the Lufthansa Business class counters on the first floor and departures/immigration were on the 2nd. There are no smoking areas inside the terminal, so do your thing before you decide to go in. Toilets smell. Exit immigrations was a nightmare because the junior immigration officer had never seen a SGP passport before and caused me extra rude/dubious questioning and delays from other officers who did not speak English and suspected I was an asylum seeker while taking a return flight home. Not a good ending to my holiday. Lots of eateries/duty free shops at airside that ONLY accepted Euros and not Rubles. Oh, no one here smiles. None. Dont expect it. Its a cultural thing.

Quite comfortable and convinient facilities. Some problems with parking (very expensive), however you can find more cheap options nearby.The renovation was very long, but now it looks like finished.

Biggest International Airport in Russian. But my first impression is it is too crowded and less tidy. Moreover with the low ceiling of the Departure / Arrival Hall. Also not many officers can speak English.

The aiport is busy yet clean and tidy. Plenty of shopping can be done here and theres a selection of eateries too. Language barrier is an expected challenge in Russia and the airport is hardly an exception especially with luggage staff.

Terrible experience in this airport! No seating areas, hardly anyone talks english. Restrooms not clean at all and smells bad. And the worst part no air conditioning in the summer!!!!

We arrived at 7.30 am on Friday morning and were out of airport by 8 am. Staff were friendly, passport control fast, baggage came through in good time. We were happy with airport and staff.

No one speaks English, you feel that they don’t want to help specially old people, no free Wifi. Long queue plus any one would pass it without respect

Well organized airport. They dont have a airport lounge before checkin, but Ural airlines was so kind to let me check in 5 hours earlier.

Very crowded airport (July 3rd), no places to sit. Good eating options. Second floor food court was very busy. Once past security check point there are plenty of bars/restaurants.

There are some big infrastructural changes in the airport.Unfortunately, there were no signs and no instructions on how to get to the aeroexpress train.I got so frustrated and decided to take a taxi instead! 😒

Security people on the door were nice. Took ages to find the keys Id left in my inside pocket, through frisking. Lots and lots of seats with reclining backs for no extra cost, and we were able to self scan and board the plane without any hassle. Ive had much worse experiences at Sheremetyevo airport. Domodedovo is actually user friendly.
