Himri (3300m) is a lesser known pass connecting the neighbouring Kullu and Lug valleys through the foothills of the Dhauladhar. Starting from Raison in the Beas river valley we climb up to Himri village where we enter colorful alpine meadows further ascending through forest to the pass.On the other side we drop down steeply through a lesser used trail into the Lug river valley near the village of Doghari. The pass can be combined with the Bhubbu pass further leading to the Barot or Uhl river valley in Kangra.
