Craft is the premier restaurant in Almaty. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. I really enjoy the seafood options and the burgers are the best in Almaty. The tacos are absolutely amazing as well. Steaks and other meat dishes fantastic. The menu is so well thought out. Theres something for everyone here. The chef brings influence and top quality ingredients from all over the world to form exquisite flavor combinations that are not available at any other restaurant in Almaty. Craft is on another level. The only way to get food this delicious and imaginative is to hop on a plane and go to Europe or America. If youre tired of the standard shashlik and potatoes that you find at literally every other restaurant in Almaty then save yourself some time and money on that plane ticket and grab a table at Craft. Cocktails are on the same level with their food, imaginative and delicious. Price is above average for Almaty but youre getting the highest quality food that cant be found elsewhere so its understandable. Atmosphere is great on most nights. Sometimes they have a DJ which is not enjoyable for me. I dont like loud music while Im eating at a restaurant, especially a small restaurant. But thats obviously just my personal preference, maybe you will like it. Just check which nights the music is playing before you go and you can either enjoy the music or skip that night if thats not your style. Service is middle of the road, never had a problem with the service but Ive never been impressed either. Overall, best restaurant and dining experience in all of Kazakhstan in my opinion.
Tasty cocktails and tacos! We had the pecan sour cocktail and it easily tops our list of cocktails in Almaty. The steak tacos taste like Tex-Mex and the guacamole is actually pretty good! Would definitely recommend!

Went for lunch at 12:30 by the time I got food it was almost 15:30, they were not busy at all. Service was so slow. Food and drink were ok but not worth that wait.
Nicely located in the downtown, right next to Shakespeare pub. Their burgers are up there among the best in Almaty, but selection of beer and especially snacks is frankly lacking.

Best burgers in Almaty for sure! The staff is very welcoming and smiley. The chef came out to us and was very friendly and nice to talk to. Definitely recommend this place if you want to miss nice burgers! I had a craft burger - well worth the money!
THe place has a funky modern decor and a lovely atmosphere. The menu is very good with lots of choices but all with an interesting twist (and reasonably priced). Last visit I had the burger and was very pleased with it (and I am very picky about my burgers - they must be gourmet burgers). The steaks look good but have not tried one yet. The barman knows how to mix a proper drink. The place has a decent affordable wine list and good value for the price point. Edward, the owner, is usually on hand to make sure that the place is operating smoothly.
In 2015/16 food used to be much better guys, honestly. Especially branded burgers and Brazilian cuisine

Went here with the wife and kid and first off I must commend them on their spacious and family/stroller friendly layout. Cool but not try hard and a nice open kitchen for those who like to see the chefs in action. Salads were amazing. Simple, thoughtful, tastebud-arousing. The burger grind was a bit fine for my liking but overall it was solid. Good beer, great food and service. So far my favorite dining experience on Almaty.

I have been visiting Kraft since the opening of that old location on Furmanov many years ago. For many years now, it has served the benchmark, the best burger in town for my taste. There is something magical in it. This is taking into account the many tried-and-true burgers, both in Almaty and around the world. I can say that this smash is one of my favorite burgers. I recommend to visit!

The location is good, but too expensive for one burger. It costs about 2700 tenge and without a set (French fries, salad, etc.). I liked the atmosphere, nice interior. Everything from interior design to menus and design of dishes is combined. The service is very good, friendly staff who help in choosing and fulfilling small requests. Yes, the order will have to wait, but this is not a fast food restaurant, a meal for enjoyment. The steak is cooked as requested medium, and the cheesecake was simply divine. Prices above the average and portions are not small, but its worth it. I will come and advise my friends.

A great place to spend your time, always cozy and warm and friendly atmosphere. Gorgeous dishes prepared by masters of their craft! I advise you to visit with friends and family. It is also worth noting the excellent breakfasts, before a hard day at work this is an ideal solution.
