Its open only for 10-11 days and you have to take tickets for that, 300/-( 2-3 hour queue) or 1000/- ticket( 1 hour queue) or you can stand in no ticket queue for 5-6 hours or if you have local influence, you can do free Darshana directly. Ticket counters will close at 8-8:30 pm. We got lucky and visited at night around 12. Better call the temple before planning to go there( phone number in their official website).

Happiness comes after visiting Goddess Hasanamba Devi. The temple is believed to have been constructed sometime around the 12th century, although the exact date is unknown. There is an ant-hill representing the presiding deity inside the temple premises and because the temple is open for only one week every year, it is considered special to obtain a darshan during the Deepavali festival.

Best temple in Hassan to visit with family. The temple open once in a year at the time of Diwali Festival ☺️. So before going to the temple check that its open or not. Special Entery fees is 1000 so directly you can I side in the temple .But if its rush then it will take 30mns to 1hours to get DarshanIf you go in normal line it will take 4to 5 hrs.So check the rush visit at the time of Diwali .

This temple opens once a year, that too during Diwali. There will be a thousands of people coming from far places to get the blessings of the goddess Hasanmba. But the district administration has to take care about the management. Common people will be made to stop getting into the temple for hours together when these VIPs come to the temple. This is ridiculous. Theres no 1 to hear this.. Theres no proper instructions for devotes where have to give the offerings. But they serve water to the people who stand in the queue for long time.. The gods power is tremendous and known to be the most Shakthishalli goddess. Visiting tot his place is available only during that 10 days before Diwali.

Hasanamba Devi blessings for all. Temple Will be open yearly Once for Deepawali Festival around 9 days. We visited in Oct 2019 Last day of Utsava. It was crowded and Darshana completed in 2 hr 30 min. Temple staff and Police officials were in Security services. Darshana can opt in Free Q Line, 300/- and 1000/-. Finally we had very good Darshana. 🙏

It is one of the famous temple in Karnataka. I feel very happy its my birth place. Hasanamba is a historical place opened once in a year during Navarathri. The most miraculous thing is that the lamp is glow throughout the year along that the rice is kept for cook. When the time of opening the the rice will be cooked and ready for prasada for the Devine people. Most important thing is dont come to test it if you test then you will be in rest in peace.

The temple is unusual in that it is open to the devotees only for a week every year. For the remainder of the year, the Goddess is left with a lit lamp, flowers, water and two bags of rice as offering until the next year. This temple is opened for darshan or tourist only once in a year during the festival of lights- diwali that varies according to the Indian solar calendar every year(month Ashwija..i.e. between the early Oct to late November)The miraculous significance - 1. the lamp that is lit a year ago or previous year remains to glow when the temple is open in the present year. 2. The flowers or garlands offered on the goddess too remains to be fresh as it was 365 days earlier. 3. The prasad - uncooked rice is placed infront of the goddess in huge vessel soaked in water( as we cook at home) but without any fire appears freshly cooked fluffy edible rice on the temple reopen day. There other rules that are to be followed by the people residing in the temple surrounding is not to add any kind cooked of seasoning during those 15 days of Hasanamba feast ; strictly no non veg.This evoked my sense organs to bow my head to the traditional belief of our Indian culture. There are many hotels nearby. Eagerly waiting this to visit on the festival day.
