If you are in Belur, this is a must visit place for ragi mudde, akki rotti meals. Friendly people, home made and delicious food are the plus points.

This house turned mess is located a few kms away from Belur bus stop. An auto driver took us here after asking him to suggest good place to have Ragi ball meals(Muddhe oota). It has 2 cleanly maintained rooms with wooden tables and comfortable seats.Service: This won us over as it felt like we were hanging out with far relatives:) Extremely courteous without any fakery; city folks owning restaurants who pretend to be too sweet and turn out awkward and annoying can learn a lot from these people:)Food: We had muddhe, crispy rice rotti served with sambar full of vegetables, buttermilk, ragi amli(a drink made of ragi with curd, onions, chillies..etc in it). It all tasted delicious and each unlimited meal only costed Rs.50, so worth every penny.Will definitely visit again when in Belur.
