If you are looking for a quiet place during the week, then this is the bar / pub to go to in Harrow. With lots of outdoor space in the garden, then you have it. Inside the atmosphere is ok. Friendly staff to serve you. Disappointing that at times when they are short staffed food is not served. The food here is your average pub food. Nothing special. Enough to usually fill your belly. Drinks are reasonably priced here. Good for hiring out for a celebratory party like a Birthday should you want to hire the place.
Clean and nice layout. Staff very helpful and fast service. Food was nice both fish&chips and burger. Prices also good. Free parking as well and always have spaces as been there few times already. Highly recommended
If you live in the area, you have to consider it your local. Great atmosphere and always welcomed.
Great atmosphere! Vibrant. Food is delicious. Pizza particularly nice. Really helpful and attentive staff. Alex was really friendly and helped us with a query.
Im so lucky to have this pub close to my flat! The food is great, nice service and the terrace and pub itself are nice and clean at all time. I highly recommend, its my go to pub when I want to enjoy a night with friends or just a dinner with my boyfriend.
The Junction is without question, the best place in Harrow to enjoy food and drinks outside in a friendly and safe environment in the Sun. The beer garden has an authentic artificial grassy lawn feel. The cubicle booths on the left and right sides have effective heaters to keep things toasty even past sunset. The benches are safely and evenly spaced apart in a very pandemic friendly and pleasing to the eye way. The interior facilities, though temporarily out of action during the pandemic, are slick, shiny and feel brand new (they fully refurbished in 2019). The modern revised interior decor shows its very young age. The staff do an excellent job of making every visit feel as if one walks through a brand new just freshly opened luxurious pub, not the iconic institution that is the Junction. As far as pub food goes, this is one menu with enough variety and balance that since 2019, I have yet to repeat an order. Before the pandemic, I were discovering a cool new set of pizza toppings or another garnish or patty I could add to my burger. Now, serving an understandably reduced lockdown menu, they still have about four burgers, five pizzas, six starters and all the hot and cold drinks one could ask for.Lastly, the staff. A motley crew of friendly, familiar faces and effective new crew members who each prove their worth time and again, every instance we return. Itll be our fifth visit since reopening in 2021 this weekend: it shall not be close to our last. Liam, Lee, Shadé, Rosa, Carolina, Kinga, Bess and the rest, under the supervision of Kieran and their manager, Steven, provide the most reliable source of a safe, serene but enjoyable afternoon meal or casual evening out that anyone could hope to find in HA1. Check them out, book a table online and be ready to order from mobile and have that NHS COVID-19 App ready to scan the QR codes.. for your first visit shall not be your last.Food 5 / 5Drinks 5 /5Cleanliness 5/5Hygiene 5/5Pandemic protocol 5/5Ambience 5/5Family friendly? Best pub in Harrow by a great margin.Amazing space , great variety of food and even larger variety of drinks. The fact that it has a large outside area makes it perfect to watch sports in larger groups and normally the crowd is pretty good too.In house pizzas are yumm and definitely worth trying.Number one spot in Harrow and worth booking over the weekend!
They never answer their phone. Called them three times this afternoon but nothing. You would think they are busy but they were all just staring at the tv watching the football match. Who cares about the customers… The short man running the place, I assume he is a supervisor is so unfriendly. Who runs this place? I live across and was recommended by my neighbours, so I visited few times but wont be rushing back any time soon. What a let down…
Poor service, really poor quality food. Looks pretty good inside so Ill give it two stars. Pizza was ok. 60% of menu not available. Not sure why it has such great ratings.
Lovely place to spend a Friday evening. Good chill .Great atmosphere.
Good range of beverages and nice staff . Outside sitting is an absolute delight on a nice evening, ample sitting space and cosy private booths.Tv screens located in strategic points for excellent match day for live events.
Formally Gayton HallI remember The Junction as a Berni Inn back in the 80sGood to go for a drink /snack/meal - indoor or outdoor seating , live sports tv , Car ParkStaff very welcoming
Best pub in harrow !Good food and great value for money 💰
Went here for the first time the other day, really nice pub with very competitive prices!
There has been a recent renovation here and the place looks great with modern and up to date furnishings. The staff member was fairly nice, not really much of a chatter, but pleasant enough. The food tasted great, was hoping for just a little but more, but almost full, there was a decent selection of drinks to choose from too! All in all a decent pub lunch
Nice big pub.great outdoor area.sports on tv
Lovely ambience , drinks a bit pricey but worth it for the well kept venue ☺️
I loved my visit today. Staff could not welcome you anymore than they did. Excellent service. Well done guys. I will be back !
A great place for outside drinking right now. Book a table in advance if you can. Great service once you are in.
Fantastic ambiance. Great design. Decent prices on both drinks and food... but ridiculously slow service: Sunday 15.00 pm: waited 25 minutes for some fries and BBQ wings. Simply unacceptable whatever was happening in thr kitchen. Just to be clear: bar staff & waiter were very friendly and moving fast... it just seems they were poorly staffed and needed the extra person. 😥
Came back to my old stomping ground today for a few drinks and watched the France game out on the decking. Theyve done it up real nice since I was last here, taken away the pool table though 👎 nice decor and vibe inside, loads of tvs inside and out. Had to order on the app as most places now, prices have deffo gone up but hey. Easliy the best pub in Harrow still.
Nice, cosy pub with all round good customer service, drinks and food!
Lovely outside area, staff are welcoming. Great value for money and an excellent food menu
Really nice pub very friendly service staff are a really good laugh
Oh my god what a burgerLovely atmosphereAmazing beer garfen and the food and beer is fantastic
Lovely atmosphere great food. Not been here in years and living what they done to the outside lol.xx
Lovely pub, friendly staff and nice food.
Better service if Georgia is running the gaff
Nice clean pub with great food
Look, its a Mitchell and Butlers pub in Harrow, its not fine dining, but you arent here for fine dining. The pandemic is hitting service here particularly hard so dont get upset if you end up waiting a long time for drinks.
Tasty food and drinksThw service also : highly recommended
Good freshly prepared food .
Great beer and excellent customer service from kieran 👌🍻
They have a lovely big pub garden, with huge outdoor tv. They have little outdoor huts, with booth seating, personal heaters that you can turn on and off, and have outdoor plug sockets to charge your devices. They also have open tables. And a nice decked and covered large outdoor area. Staff come with table service to take your order. Our table was cleaned in front of us before use. Prices good. Wine tasty. Staff friendly. Great atmosphere. Room for plenty of people whilst maintaining social distancing. Inside looks beautiful too. However, toilets blocked and unclean. And staff could do with frequenting the garden on lookout for people needing service, on a more regular basis. You cant order from the bar here. But they do have an app. Or can pay staff at your table.
Good staff and perfect location
Its nice pub..
Really good food!! ❤️
Edit: After emailing management, the free drink was issued in the form of a £5 voucher, so have given them 4 stars. The layout has definitely improved since my last visit, although the prices have gone up accordingly. The beer garden looks amazing, reminds me of a shisha louge. The order to table app definitely needs improvement, and the staff there still need to improve on the basics of customer service, rather than dodging complaints.Original: On their website, they advertise a free drink with a main meal if you sign up to their marketing. Upon ordering and following all the procedure on the app, the waiter just avoided our table for the rest of the night. Never again, was given 1 napkin between two of us, one set of cutlery between two of us. I would not have got food, only reason for getting food was the promise of a complimentary drink. After asking twice, the bartender/waiter boy just made excuses, blamed IT systems, instead of just doing the right thing. Not even a free soft drink was offered. Dont fall for their fake voucher. If you cant honour a basic voucher, dont advertise it. As a result of being scammed, they lost out on any further drink orders I would have made.
The new renovations make The Junction your ideal spot in Harrow to grab a few drinks and have some food on a hot summers day in their beer garden. The staff are exceptionally friendly and are willing to go that extra mile to accommodate your needs! Id certainly recommend a visit!
Great local pub
Nice place.
Great venue, but appalling service from conceited staff. Arrived when the venue was at 5% capacity, and was told that our group could only stay for one drink. Was then asked to leave after two hours due to risk assessment requirements, just before we were going to order food. This was bewildering, as customers who arrived before us were still seated. Gave this feedback to staff, who argued instead of apologised. In a climate where hospitality venues should be accommodating and hungry for business, it is amazing how inhospitable customer service can still exist.Edited post business response: Thanks for your reply Steve. I understand that there is a two hour time slot, however, customers who arrived before us were still seated/eating after we were asked to leave. It was this inconsistency that was the problem, as well as the rudeness of the staff when I raised this. Safety procedures are important, but will only work if applied consistently.
🔥
Open mic night on Tuesdays is a must!!! Just get there and be ready!!!
Good friendly service
Safe bet in Harrow for a pint and surprisingly good selection of vegan options. Great job with the renovation too
A nice pub with a good atmosphere inside and a great outdoor section as well. Sport is shown, and the pub was warm on my last visit even though it was freezing outside - good job! Maybe some higher level wines would be a nice addition, though at same time it was nice to get a large red much cheaper than what Im used to practically anywhere in London!
Great pub and even better after the refurbishment! Incredibly cheap drinks and food which are all delicious! You can get a bottle.of wine for £11. Lots of food and drink options. Very cute outdoor covered seating area too! Go early on a Friday night or reserve a table as you may find it gets a bit on the busier side!
Great place. Good beer 🍺 and grommet cousin. Lovely staff. Nice and clean place. Enjoyed it after the lock down 😆
The new refurb is very good, looks so much better than before. One of the best pubs in Harrow.
The pub has responded to the covid crisis admirably all things considered. Lovely place to have a pint, beer garden is great in the summer weather. Would definitely recommend.
Nice clean pub, well run with good safety precautions. Food is pretty good .Always received good service from staff and the manager Steve always goes the extra mile to make your visit pleasant ..... well done
Awesome pub! Such a little gem its our favourite pub in the area. Awesome menu, cheap drinks, great vibe. We bring people here whenever weve got friends in the area. Great place
Great pint while watching the football. Nice venue
Unfortunately, the past few times we have visited the Junction we have experienced very poor service, busy or not. The last time we went (on a Tuesday early evening) we waited 15 minutes at the door before anyone came over to acknowledge us while we noticed empty handed employees walk by several times. We had been first in the queue and people had begun standing behind us. We then waited over 40 minutes at our table before anyone even took our drinks order (after we were finally able to wave someone over ourselves after several failed attempts). One table next to us was served twice in the meantime while I waved and called out to catch the employee’s attention who seemed to be avoiding eye contact with ours and other tables. I then tried to order the wholefood bowl and was told they were out, then tried to order the goats cheese salad and was told they were completely out of salad. It then took another half hour for our food to come out (before any drinks) at which time we had to remind the employee about our drinks. We have had similar problems with slow service and employees not acknowledging us without some shouts and waves since they reopened. There is no sense of urgency or apology from the employees and they act as if your order is mostly an inconvenience. I understand the new system of service may be difficult to maneuver, but it’s been months now, and even a simple “sorry for the wait” would go a long way.
Nice place to hang out with friends. Usually quite buzzing, lovely outside seating area and you may even catch your favourite sport on a large screen in the outside area if weather permits. It is placed in a cozier part of Harrow and is away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Went there after we booked a table and had the worst service ever. We understand that due to the current situation that there will be lack of staff, however no excuse for how rude they all were. Since we got there we got ignored multiple times and when we asked any questions we would get sarcastic rude comments back. Worst customer service. The staff were unprofessional as they were just chilling with their mates and not acknowledging their customers. Very disappointed with the staff. Recruit better people please.
I ate double burger and squid strips with drowned mushrooms. I do not recommend, they were drowned in oil, too much oil.
The Junction looks really good after its refurbishment. It is more spacious and much brighter. The new menu looks much better with a bigger range and the seats are more comfortable. There is a great range of draft beer. The cocktails are reasonably priced. The relaunch night was great with a very good live band. It is situated in a good location just by Harrow on the Hill Station,
IM not in the gang richie said Im so upset
Pub just had makeover so able to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Food good value for money service pretty good. Note of caution got noisy as we were leaving hopefully these characters werent regulars
Great service, food and a wonderful out door seat area to enjoy the summer sun
Worst pub that I have ever been to! The Manager is extremely arrogant and shameless person. He took away my food and bottle of wine when I was out for 2 mins for a cigarette break. He charged me the entire money, didnt give me my food and abused me with bad words when I asked for a refund. I would not recommend such a disgusting place to anybody.
Very polite staff and good value on the food
Lovely place with great staff and amazing beer garden!
Great pub. Its looks like it been done up recently. We had a few beers and some sides.Id recommend and go back.
A much needed addition to a very limited selection of good pubs to drink in, in Harrow. Craft beers & plenty of outdoor space to chill and chat. Nice vibe.
Services and prices were good.Very friendly
Very good pub. A wide variety of drinks and good food if you are looking for something to eat. Good service however often very busy. Would recommend to adults.
Love this pub. Great food and cosy outside seating area. friendly staff too. Gets a little rowdy on the weekend though as it is open till late.
Nice outside space and good choice of drinks
A badly run shambles with too few staff on a Saturday night. What initially looked like an good selection of beers was let down by poor stock control, five were initially available but within an hour there was only one.Interestingly the reply to my review explains that they had issues last week, however as I was there two weeks ago it fails to address any of my complaints.
Pool tables nice outside bit. Not the cheapest around. Foods decent and quiz nights every now and then are cool
The waiters are very rude. The security isnt good at all. The Manager seems to be very arrogant and short tempered. The food seemed frozen and stale. I would not recommend this place at all. And I didnt find it safe either!
There for a coffee morning. Opened late. Coffee not ready and when it did arrive, it wasnt very nice. Usually better than this!
Staying couple of hours in harrow, wanted to watch the Liverpool vs Arsenal game and was refused entry because there was supposedly a capacity issue (or because i was wearing a liverpool shirt). If there were a capacity issue they should have put a notice on their website. Wouldn’t visit again.
Pretty nice suburban pub, with large outdoor area.Edit: theyve had a remodel last year and its now really nice. Huge selection of lagers and craft beers on tap now. Prices gone up slightly but acceptable for a nicer place to sit.
Great service, amazing staff.
I like the atmosphere and the staff are very polite and pleasant. It is in a nice location too.
Great pub. Recommend the P.I.G burger!! Nice also to watch sports. Beer garden available.
Great place. Lovely staff and food. Smashing place to watch the footie too!
Nice clean venue , very good service
Went for a few drinks and food tonight. Wait time to order a drink was about 10 minutes, even though there were only two people waiting. The food took over an hour to arrive and was burnt to a crisp. I ordered a burger, which had obviously been burnt, then thrown in to a microwave. They even managed to burn a wrap!Fine for a drink, but stick with bottles. Im pretty sure they dont clean any of their beer lines properly.
Pleasant pub stopped in for a meal had a medium rare steak with all the trimmings correctly cooked nicely served. Well worth a visit.
Best
Worst staff. They were just making fun of me as my English wasnt that good. And they dont even know how to make mojitos or any other cocktails
Rough and ready. Pool tables for fun - bit wonky and in a corner where quite close to window for one shot and near serving area so get staff walking back and forth! Pleasant enough. Lovely outdoor space very well used.
Twas a lovely pub, lovely beer garden with heated booths. Went their alone and made many friends. Was an awesome experience.
A good local pub. Nice interior, good range of drinks and good food!
Decent pub... Nice outdoor area. Helpful staff
