I celebrated my nomination today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a magnificent evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the fruitful celebration. The crew participated in a gorgeous way, the meals were great and my guests were extremely thrilled. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

First, the price goes up a lot.Second, the rice stinks sometimes so I usually just throw them away when it comes with dishes.And also, when I politely asked the owner if he could separate the order into two boxes he refused me because of the cost. I supposed it was the tupperware, so I thought maybe I could pay for it, but he said no because every time he separated, he gave more portion to me than usual by accident and I should separate the food by myself. The thing is, if I order takeout, why I want to wash dishes after eating, and I really dont think how many advantages I have taken here. The reason I want to separate is me being on diet. I want to control the portion of each meal.The attitude of the owner and hygine condition is really unacceptable.

Many choices for single or group meals, including spicy options. Enjoyed the beef stew noodle soup with fast service in cozy seating area. Parking limited to street spaces, but several 2 hr spots a few blocks away.

The pork fried rice and spring rolls are our favorite.

I would give zero stars. I got Kung pao chicken and it tasted terrible. It had no flavor and I couldnt even finish it. waste of money.

Yesterday was the first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the generous service, with the great meal and booze and with the comfortable price. We will definitely go back there soon.

Having traveled throughout Asia, I am a pretty tough critic of Chinese food. The food is all freshly prepared and excellent. Very high quality. Great selection, especially the large bowls of soup. Though the physical restaurant is very plain and it looks like a takeout restaurant, I often eat there because the food is delicious.

The Staff at 5 grain Rice, Serve up the best atmosphere and the most plentiful entrees in Harrison. They deliver to your house and 6the food is always piping hot each time. They send the food in convenient microwavable containers , So whatever you dont finish you can save for the next day. The owner carefully selects only the freshest ingredients and has been working in the Asian food industry her whole life.She grew up and worked in her mothers restaurant which shows with every detail. The food was good the first time I went which was last week. Today, 3:45 pm on a Tuesday, the door was locked. The lights were out. I was shocked to see this. I am not sure want is going on. All I know they are on one of the most busy street in Harrison.

Heard its run by a new management and thought I should give them a try. To my surprise the food is great there. Its as authentic as it gets, none of that Chinese take out bullcrap. Theyre beed noodle is great considering the area around.

Ordered a large house special fried rice, chicken wings, an order of cheese wonton and a small egg drop wonton soup...over all the food tasted ok...good even..but overpriced for the amount of food...in any other Chinese restaurant the large fried rice would of been good for more than 1 person..I was actually planning to share but it was barely shareable. For the price..not enough food. Eh.

Disappointing...........The food is good, but the service is horrible....Twice in 1 week I have attempted to call and place an order during business hours and they failed to pick up the phone..... This maybe the cause of me never trying to order from here again because they are consistently unreliable...

Vegetable lo mein was just ok. Small place with helpful staff. Food served one dish at a time and took an ok amount of time. Nothing special, but an ok meal.

Not too impressed- ordered shrimp & chicken with mixed vegetables & the meal had an orange tint to it... this was a first since I order this from all Chinese restaurants... although the staff was friendly...not sure if Ill go back for a 2nd try...

Not bad food but some dishes taste extremely similar like bourbon chicken and black pepper chicken and teriyaki chicken.might as well eat across the street at chinatownmuch better scene, much better food, much better servicejust shut down 5 grains riceor maybe move to another town

Nice little restaurant for traditional Chinese food.

On may 21, my wife and I (on business from Los Angeles) stopped in for lunch. We asked for hot tea, and for Stevia or Equal. The waitress returned with a glass sugar dispenser (needed serious cleaning) and said there was no sweeteners. We then received our wonton soup, it appeared to be a bowl of clear water, with two large thick pig ears. We skipped the soup. We then received our (small portion) food, and asked for hot sauce and Chinese hot chile oil. She brought us small bowls of (unk) red sauce, and one of WET red cracked chile pepper (pizza stuff). Waitress and cook need training. Food and service BARELY passed.

Great Chinese food! Everything very clean and delicious! The dishes come with a balanced mix of various vegetables, unlike other restaurants that clog the cabbage and broccoli dish. Ive tried Lo mein, mei fun, sesame chicken, yeung chow rice ... Next time Ill try some spicy dish or their fish.
