Though the dhabas name is same as of the world famous Chotiwala (Rishikesh) but it isnt at par with original Chotiwala.Its a average north Indian style dhaba located on the main ghats of Har ki Pauri, Haridwar. An okish place for quick bite.

2 restaurants are there near Swargshram. Apart food the main attraction is the well groomed bold man sitting there. They offer traditional food at affordable price. Taste is fine...U will really love the get-up of these two choti walas.

There are 3-4 restaurant in very close proximity, firstly very very very bad food basicaly stale food. AVOID VISITING TO THIS ONE SPECIFICALLY (Photoes attached)

Recently been to this place with my family for lunch. In terms of hygiene the place Lacks alot. Coming to food, we tried chola bhatura which was disappointing, bhatura being not so crispy and too thick, Chole were tasteless too. Next we tried poori sabji, which was good taste wise but way too oily, I liked the aloo sabji. Lastly we had aloo paratha which was again a big disappointment as it was made up of mixed flour that is maida and aata, also the aloo was not evenly distributed and barely present. Also aloo paratha was accompanied with nothing, they could have served it at least with some gravy, curd or butter. Overall I didnt like the place much in terms of taste and hygiene though the service was good and staff was welcoming.

I will never return to this place. This establishment is not recommended in Rishikesh. This restaurant has the worst food and service, as well as the worst operators. They were very impolite to the consumers. This spot has the slowest service youll ever encounter.

Been to Chotiwalas in Rishikesh before but this was my first visit to the establishment here. Service was prompt and staff helpful clean tables. Had only lassi here to hydrate and for energy to walk further. Came in a huge tumbler and was tasty.

While visiting Har Ki Pauri, I went there for some good food. There main specialty that was highlighted by them everywhere was Thandi kheer. Upon asking for the same they said it is not available, then we ordered dosa which was also not available. Finally we ordered lassi. It was also one of their speciality but honestly it was not so good. I could make like one in my sleep.

I had visited this restuarant few days back.I had ordered a panner butter masala,dal makhni and butter naan.the food was very tasty and the staff was very kind.The ambience was very beautiful and parking was also avialbale.rates were reasonable.surely a reccomendable place.better than the one in Rishikesh. For me this is the real Chotiwala brand. Loved the thali, the tea, the ambience, the cleanliness, the restaurant staff, courteous service. Wish I feel the same on my 2nd trip as well.

It is just ok. The waiting time was too long after each orders. And food taste was just ok. There were proper sitting arrangements but the services are not quite good. It was costly food as compare to nearby available food options. We ordered aalo pratha, special thali etc. In my personal opinion, avoid this restaurant. :-(

A much hyped name in haridwar just because it is old. After lockdown visit it was a saviour as we got decent food without much difference in rate. We understand there concerns too. In other times there are many joints which serve good food around. We had kadhi pakora with roti and chhole bhature both were good in taste.

The food here is awesome. It also give many types of varieties of food in Indian cuisine. As their name one person in the get up of the chotiwala (Pandit or character in their name) sits with a bell on singhasana which brings an act or hall of fame and main attraction. Ill suggest if you visit rishikesh then you must visit here.
