You need to go by UDANKHATOLA, that is ropeway. It has started operating and charged approx. ₹200 per person. Its a beautiful feeling going up and above looking at the view and beauty. Beware of monkeys! They took all our bananas🐶

Many people go to Mansa devi temple but doesnt visit Chandi Devi temple because lack of awareness. One can buy tickets for both the temple from the same ticket counter. There is a bus stand of uttarakhand government in Manasa Debi temple . These buses pick up and again drop at the same place after darshan if u buy combo ticket. View wise Chandi Devi temple is more beautiful. Very systematic and clean

Situated at the top of a hill from where you can get a view of haridwar. You can get to the temple either by walking or cable car facility is also available. Usually the waiting time for cable car facility is high. Worth a visit if you are in haridwar.

Keep in mind- climbing this mountain is not that easy as Mansa Devi because of its steep climbing.dont try shortcuts lest you should fall and injured yourself. Keep calm and take breath.it will take only 15 mint to climb if you are fast and energetic and max 45 mint if you are very slow taking much rest.keep a water bottle with yourself.beware of monkeys they always try to snitch everything they notice eatable.

Prayers of the gods were heard Chandika Devi, a powerful Goddess was formed from the cells of Goddess Parvathi. She was a beautiful and dynamic Goddess and demon King Shumbh wished to marry her. She refused and the king sent Chanda and Munda to kill her. They were killed by Kalika Devi who was born out of Chandika Devis anger. When their efforts failed the Demon kings themselves tried to kill Chandika Devi but were in turn slain by the Goddess. Battle won Chandika Devi rested for a short while at Neel Parvat. To keep the Goddess among the mortals and welcome her back again, the Chandi Devi temple was built. The temple is a very famous pilgrim spot and gathers devotees all around the year. Because of its location, the Chandi Devi temple is also a preferred choice for trekkers.

First of all, I would like to say that its one of the most beautiful temples in Haridwar. Ropeway staff is also well trained. This temple is one of the most ancient temples in India. There is a dense forest on the other side of the hill; the ropeway offers scenic views of the river Ganga and Haridwar... Yeah!!! I enjoyed view of forest too at the time when we were in ropeway...

U may climb upto the temple but its really steep. So be ready to burn some calories.

The place is good for visit and the space is quite good, you can worship goddess without much trouble. If you are preferring ropeway I would suggest you to buy single ticket. Let me tell you the categories there are basically two types of tickets for adults 1) chandi devi price- rs 1932) combo (chandi devi + mansa devi) price- rs 293I would suggest you to buy ticket of only chadi devi because for mansa devi ropeway system is poor, you have to walk 1.5 kms queue and will have a hard time and if you walk by road you will have to travel 3 kms with ease of resting during journey.Kindly note the places chandi devi and mansa devi both are at separate places you have to take a bus or auto for that.
