This place is a steam turbine equipment manufacturing shop, where equipments are machined assembled and various testing operations carried out to ascertain its quality and performance. It is Indias famous turbine manufacturing unit supplying equipments in various states electricity generation companies, as well as it exported to other country also.

Much of the machones are available for manufacturing of steam turbine ...in block 3 .. assembley of steam turbines takes place . I am doing my summer training from there ...the biggest problem is no one will guide .. some operators of machine will teach you well , some will not .Visualization if process id difficult even if the machines are available becoz not everytime these machine runs...after completion of previous process then only other testing happens..so there is no exact timing when to see those testings going on (governing...osbt...etc).... engineers wont help u a bit ... they jus set their fkn ass on that chair and laugh with friends... then they complain psu are boring

Block 3 is Manufacturing block, here Turbines blades are manufactured. There are 4 bays in block 3, HMS-1 Heavy Machines shop, HMS-2, LMS Light machine shop, and Blade shop.Here manufacturing process like Drilling, Boring, Facing, Finishing, Cutting, Grooves cutting, etc is done.Blades of tubine is manufactured in bay 4.Assembly of turbines is also done in block 3.
