Food was so delicious and so was the garnishing. The chef made the dishes according to our taste which were not actually in their menu. Emoloyees were friendly enough and tried to speak customers native language to make them feel good. Service was really fast and clean. Strongly recommend to everyone. One of the best restaurants in Hannover.

Average food taste and pathetic service

Considering all the good reviews, we were expecting a delicious meal, especially because Im used to go to Indian restaurants and that it was my first in Hannover.I had Lamb Byriani (16€90)and my friend had vegeterian Kofta Curry (11€50). We also got two Mango Lassi.My lamb byriani was good, but not exceptionnal.My friend was much more disappointed at his Kofta Curry, which he found very basic, with no special flavours.At the end, it was a bit of a deception for both of us. Nevertheless, its not a bad restaurant at all

The lunch menu (12-3pm) is very good value - a meal, soup and a drink will cost you €11.The normal menu is on the pricey side.Atmosphere is refined and on the ‘fine dining’ side, but I feel the service could be warmer.The rice dishes are nice. The curry felt a little Germanised.

Their traditional dishes are tasty but the toilet wasn’t that clean :/ still I recommend their vegetarian combinations

There is NO negative remarks on this restaurant. Staffs were very friendly.We asked food to be little spicy and they took that request and made sure that every dish was spicy.On overall food was very good and ambience is also good.As an Indian I would suggest this Restaurant.

Delivered on taste and level of spiciness. This is authentic, and can compete with good London Indian curries. So glad we came as its near our hotel!

We had chicken tikka masala... it was aromatic and well balanced taste with a kick of spiciness... and mild curry for assorted fish plate ... the fish matched well with the curry sauce. The service was friendly and accommodating. We were sitting outside with our dogs ... it was a great evening.

Good Indian food in Hannover. Staff was friendly and efficient. The mix tandoori platter was superb (especially the prawn) but the size of the platter was tiny. To me a platter means something sufficient for at least two people to share, but this was barely enough for one and we were a party of four. It would be nice to increase the size of the platter!! The spinach paneer and daal were really really good. But the chicken mughlai was disappointing. It was too sweet and didnt have much taste. Other than that all the food was good. The kulfi dessert was also delicious.

Very good indian food! Naan was a little bit too chewy and dry, but everything else was perfect. I still think that almost every Indian restaurant in Europe, or at least in Germany, makes their fantastic dishes just slightly under seasoned. I ordered spicy and it wasnt that spicy at all. I would like to see this restaurant trying to be more brave and true to their original authentic flavor - You dont need to be a conformist.

As a indian i would say that the Chicken tikka nasala was ok and i would not recommend Bhuna Mutton.The place is a bit overrated. The overall taste was good with complimentary papadums and rice.I would recomment to have a Naan rather than Tandoori Roti.The food is made in a way that it would be liked by germans. Evenif we asked for Indian spicy they didnt made it that spicy.But still its a good place with melodious indian song music playing in the background and a very authentic indian retaurant ambience.

Absolutely fantastic eatery. We were 7 people, the food was absolutely delicious. However, the wait was a bit long, but we got starter and main course. Can definitely be recommended. Can sit both inside and out. We had booked a table. Very reasonable in price.

We were generally satisfied. The food tasted good, but we know better Indian restaurants in Hanover in terms of taste, if you compare.We loved the atmosphere here.What we didnt quite like, unfortunately, is that all employees walked past us in silence without any reason or something similar. You had to wait longer for drinks or order intake. And the opening times on Google should be changed so that customers from outside are not in front of a locked door, as in our case.

I have been a guest at Guru several times and have always been very satisfied, but the last time I was quite disappointed. The staff was unfortunately very unfriendly and inattentive. Plates were only put out on request, although the food was already on the table. In addition, we were given a shaken water bottle that made everything wet when it was opened. Napkins or the like were still not handed to us. I know that better otherwise, too bad :(

We only had one soup to try. I didnt like it that much, something was missing inside.

We liked it so much that we visited two days in a row.On the first day we treated ourselves to the “Kir Royal Menu” and sat in the interior. The menu was beautifully arranged and delicious. The service was excellent.On the second day we had reserved outside and ordered our favorites from the previous day (Chicken Moghulai and Lamm Korma). The food was great, only the service was a little less attentive.All in all: great restaurant, wed love to come back anytime!

We had opted for the Royal menu and were enthusiastic. The individual courses came in the perfect distance for us. Although the restaurant was fully booked, the courses were not served in quick succession, but we could enjoy the evening in peace. Habe meine Frau zu Ihrem Geburtstag dorthin eingeladen. Wir haben uns für das Royal-Menü entschieden. Dies ist ein Fünfgang Menü, wo man alles in verschiedenen Gänge bekommen hat. Der Hauptgang mit vier verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten, viel uns schwer, also es ging eigentlich nichts mehr. Das Brot haben wir mitgeben lassen und den Reis haben wir minimal dazu genommen. Aber das leckere Mango-Sorbet rutschte durch und der indische Rum schloss das Mahl ab. Hier waren wir nicht das letzte mal!
