Yes its cheap but theres a risk of sensory overload in these stores. Avoid if on the autism spectrum or if youre distressed by a lot of bright colours and noise. There are multiple televisions advertising stuff while youre trying to do your shopping.

Reasonable prices, friendly staff, ring and pick up if scripts are held.

I go here all the time. The prices are good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Waited 15 minutes for a script only to be told “oh we dont stock that“ and then theres Amanda“ who is a personal space invader. Leaning right into my personal space scanning products on the shelf. Service is ordinary at best on any given day. Youre better off going to Terry White

Had the unfortunate experience of returning some items due to getting wrong items.First experience was rough. I thought maybe its just once off2nd time was even worse.Customer service drops to low level.Not a recommended store location

I thought they closed at 9pm so ran in about ten minutes to 7pm to grab a gift for someone, the security grates were open so I didnt think anything of it...nobody spoke to me or helped me and I stood around for 5-10 minutes deciding on a gift then heard some rough angry voice screaming to her coworker I closed the grates, I then heard the other worker locking the doors and me inside the shop and ran over and said hi sorry are you closing? I thought you closed at 9? The worker just looked at me and said no...7 and let me out without even checking if I had wanted to buy something. I left the store at 6:59 so you would think they would have been able to put through one sale. So Im giving them 1 star for almost locking me in and failing to provide any service whatsoever. The pharmacy staff are usually nice though.

I had a terrible experience today at the Hamilton Store, the sales assistant in the dispensary was not only rude she was aggressive. I have left my scripts there for at least 18 months and have removed them today due to the appalling level of service and respect.. In a business where you are dealing with people who have an illness or their family member does. They are putting in scripts and collecting medication not going to the day spa for a fun time, they need to be treated with respect and care as you do not know what news they may have had. It is part of the health care profession there was no caring or manners in the service today. I will pay more for my scripts which currently is around $130 a month to be treated with respect and dignity.

I have had such a bad experience in dealing with the Chemist Warehouse in Hamilton today 22/1/2016 (it is my first time and it will be the last). Especially the Chemist/Pharmacist Mr. Moe Mohamed who is rude, arrogant, unhelpful and unfriendly. I am not sure how he would get such a job that deals with customers constantly everyday and yet he has no customer service skills whatsoever. Even this mistake was made by their staff at this Chemist.By the way, thank you very much to Deborah/Debra who is a staff there, very understanding, friendly, kind and has great skills in customers service. They should have more staff like Debra than Moe this would help getting more customers into the door instead of letting them running away like me.

Penny, who apparently is the “manager” lacks customer service skills and product knowledge.I was in there today and saw a very elderly lady looking lost in the vitamin section. The “manager” walked straight by without offering any assistance only turning back when the lady called out.She asked for tumeric and curcumin only to be told patronisingly that they are “exactly the same thing”. The lady said they are not, but told again they were.The “manager” then told her that they only stock curcumin in the Blackmores. Rubbish. Every brand on offer in there stocks it.She then left her. She was rude and dismissive.As the poor lady was still wandering looking lost I offered to help her.I asked her all the questions that the “manager” had not bothered to, what did she need it for, was she taking any other medications and explained that curcumin is the chemical compound within the spice of tumeric, something the “manager” was not able to explain because she was not equipped with the knowledge to do this.The lady said yes, that she knew that they were not “exactly same thing”, she just wanted that explained to her.She told me she was in pain and together we spent several minutes finding a suitable curcumin product for her.The lady was very upset at having been treated abruptly by the “manager” and grateful that I took the time to stop and help her find something of benefit.Pathetic treatment of a vulnerable member of the community by a woman who should know better. Not prepared to spend a few minutes of her time to offer genuine help.Complete lack of knowledge of both the product, the products the shop stocks and the basic questions to ask of a customer seeking assistance.I’ve seen this “manager” in action before, too busy and important to offer much help when I asked for a product. She dismissed me with an abrupt “we don’t stock it” only for me to find it on my own.You’ve lost another customer

I recently went there for the first time. Well I basically hate car parking. Since its in heart of the city you find only on street parking but still its hard find parking near the store.I wish they display price correctly coz when start to pay the cost for my products happened to be very low. When i questiin about it they said the product got a discount.Well plz display prices correctly this time i paid less but Im afraid next time it will be more.Any how I always choose chemist.

The worst experience in customer service, or the lack of that I have ever had. First I approached 2 girls at the dispencary counter for assistance simply to have one turn her back on me & entered the back room the other stayed focussed on the computer screen. I waited for 10 minutes and then went to the register and asked the girl there for some assitance. All I could get from her was ah. Then a male staff member came towards me. I asked him if he could help with some information about the product I was after. This was the Garcinia Cambogia. He asked in a very abrupt manner. What in particular is it you want to know?I explained and he was not at all inerested in helping me. Simply just gave me one word answers and seemed annoyed that I was asking him questions.This will be the last time that I enter the place..

If you dont like the service do not come back. Consider what medication you are taking before speaking
