Nowhere else gives the time & the detailed expert & personalised service! The staff all are very good at what they do , but the outstanding thing is they take so much care with each fitting & any possible issue is dealt with quickly & professionally. Top value eyewear here. After a bulk billed (free)eye examination conducted professionally in-house, I received two pairs of reading glasses plus one pair of computer glasses ....for a total $180. All in quality frames. Friendly , courteous staff make the positive experience even better.

I cannot begin to tell you how appalled I am by your behaviour. Calling in today to pick up two pair of glasses, one for computer one for reading, I was floored by the unprofessional attitude of the blond haired older woman. I was then surprised to find that neither pair of glasses were for the reading prescription, but when it was checked with the optometrist, I was told that I had a stigmatism and the glasses would settle in - something new to me as not once in the examination was this mentioned. I refused to pay for two pair that were clearly the same prescription opting instead to take just one pair. As I had paid about 60% deposit I checked with the blond woman to make sure I didnt owe anything on them. She checked and said, no thats all, your account is clear. I was at the door to leave when I turned around and asked if I had possibly overpaid and needed a refund? Only then, once caught out did she admit that this was the case. I demanded the refund only to be told that she couldnt possibly make a refund at that time. This constitutes theft and unprofessional behaviour on so many levels. No apology was made just blame and attempted theft of my money. Appalling - this wont be good for your business. Oh and the one star rating? Far too much but I couldnt post without it.

I had the best experience ever here today. From the moment I walked in the staff were super friendly and the office was very clean and following all COVID protocols. I was served by the staff straight away who book me straight in on the spot to see the Optometrist Julio who was also incredibly professional and had great customer service. The practice manager helped me find my pair of glasses and had it all ready to be picked up within 45 minutes. I was not expecting to receive the glasses this week let alone within 1 hour. Thank you so much for making this experience so easy and fun. I’ll be back and recommend you to everyone.

Optometrist unprofessional and asking invasive questions about personal life during examination. He talked so much that he made errors on both my scripts, appeared to not be paying attention. I contacted the practice and spoke with the practice manager in April. She assured she would ask the optometrist to rectify the mistake, and i received an updated script by email, however i am not confident that this is correct. Reception staff very polite and helpful, just would not recommend this optometrist

I got my eyes tested on Friday and glasses were ready to pick up on Monday. All the staff were super friendly. I wont go anywhere else in the future.

I travelled from the Central Coast to their business at Hamilton because I have struggled for years to find an optometrist that understood what I needed from a pair of glasses.The equipment they have for testing is the most advanced I have seen. After the test, they spent the time to try on at least 30 different styles giving real advice on how each pair looked.The whole time they listened and understood my needs and used their professional skills to analyse what prescription was required and now I finally have the PERFECT pair of glasses for me.Thank you Julio, Rosie and Team, I am so very happy.💯💜

After having my frames break and searching for a month for glasses that I could afford and suited my face (since I have to wear them every day) I was recommended to sight savers and I definitely will be coming back. I gave them my broken glasses, they immediately helped me find a pair similar to my old ones that I loved (being 50% off also was fantastic) and they shaved my current lenses to fit into the new frames within twenty minutes so I could walk out that day with my new glasses at no extra cost. Great experience and will be back.

Sight Savers is my one stop optometry shop. I have been going to sight savers for over 10 years and the new location on Tudor St is amazing! All the new technology they have now is amazing! So convenient and affordable compared to the specialist, which I needed to go to regularly but I can now get it checked without delay or putting a hole in my pocket at Sight Savers. The staff are nothing but amazing and always go above and beyond.

Theyre a great team. They offer all services, are up to date, are flexible with appointment times, and Julio is caring and interested. All the other staff are friendly and chatty, whilst willing to professionally help. Theyre also keen to use whatever your health fund has available to offer... so why not use it?! Get there.

Amazing team, so friendly and helpful. I called one morning after I had broken my glasses. I was struggling at work as I have very poor eyesight. They quickly slotted me in between patients, tested my eyes and made 2 pairs of glasses within hours that were within a price range I could afford. The glasses are perfect. Got my multifocals in a week did not have to wait for overseas shipping. I work in a medical field and appreciate the service given by Julio and his team.

I was offered freerepairs on an arm of a pair of glasses I had purchased from Sight savers Hamilton just over the warranty period of 1 year ago. The hinge in the spectacle arm had broken and a replacement could apparently not be sourced.The new repairs included 2 differing arms, an adjoining screw that had not been cut to size and teeth marks in one of the arms. Justification is that it was free!No offer of a replacement frame- which I would have paid for!Will I be returning here. Absolutely not!

If you’re eyesight is failing or just need to checkup , look no further than making your appointment with Sight Savers of Hamilton, if you’re like me & been going to the same Optometrist for years , happy enough but wondering if the grass is greener somewhere else, do yourself a favour like I did with this place . The service of the staff with Rosie & her team is second to none, my first time there , & I was treated so very well , certainly above my expectations, not just so very professional, but made to feel like your so very special, the latest up to date state of the art equipment is used , the one on one service with not just Julio the leading man whose quiet charm & demeanour putting you at ease , to Rosie & her wonderful staff all specially trained with machines that I’d not seen before, to finally choosing my new frames , an experience that I’d not ever had before, not one but two people helping me , no matter how long it took!! But OMG the choice available was unbelievable! Though don’t let that deter you , because they know & ask the relevant questions into choosing firstly the budget you’re at, then what suits your shape face , what you do etc etc.I just had to write this review because I honestly didn’t realise after all these years of going to my regular Optometrist happily enough , that by trying these guys for a change mostly cause I’d noticed the incredible choice of frames in their new modern retail shop , just how different the whole experience of checking on my eyesight could be ! In my hour of need, I couldn’t have asked for greater recourse than what I received from everyone working at Sightsavers Hamilton on 9/10/18.After being caught by the bureaucratic trap that is Service NSW, I was overcome with a sense of foreboding as I was left in desperate bind to have both an optometrist & doctor’s evaluation that day or have my license expire.As luck would have it, not only were all optometrists booked out that day, but so were the doctors. That’s where Sightsavers, Hamilton came to my rescue.Upon reflection, I can only imagine how frantic I must have appeared to the ladies at the front desk, however their excellent customer service did not waiver, as they both calmed me down and assured me they would find space for me that day. Not 5 minutes later, I was commencing all the necessary tests and within 25minutes I had seen an optometrist (who was also incredible) and I was on my way. This however was only half my hurdle. I was in need of a miracle to find an available doctor that would co-sign my results. At the behest of the ladies at the front desk, they managed to secure an appointment for me in 15minutes at a doctors up the road.In little more than an hour my colossal task that had left me resigned to defeat was overcome by the Herculean effort by Sightsavers Hamilton. I honestly cannot thank then enough for their friendly & professional assistance they gave me. ‘Over and beyond’ would be massively underselling the service I received. Thanks again Sightsavers Hamilton!

Great costumer service and prices

Never go here! Overpriced frames even with deals. They took advantage of my elderly mum, tried to sell her most expensive frames, got her prescription wrong, wouldnt take responsibility for it, wouldnt refund but kept the $200 deposit and glasses. Ripped her off big time. Husband is optometrist , wife is manager. Shame on them

Absolute garbage service. Wife is manager, pressure sale tactics with fake deals. 50% sales all year around that don’t exist. Shame.
