Another great shopping experience at Spotlight ... great service, smiles on faces and they have a great range of products at good prices.Their sales are amazing and it really pays to become a VIP member. Perfect. I found what I wanted after some hard shopping. Ever tried to match a particular purple? No luck but I finally found the right pink which wasnt so easy either. Wearing pink under the purple lace but now to have made for me a pink short jacket.

Huge store for all sorts of things, from fixing a hole in the shirt up to organizing a party. It sells a variety of sewing machines, cloths and the like. Customer service is decent and nice. It has plenty of parking space. Not too many toys though, so kids may be a bit disappointed.

Unfortunately I went to this store and had to ask for advice. Sadly I got passed to another person and eventually had to call head office myself from inside the store. I do find that the staff in the material section are more helpful and knowledgeable than the staff at the front desk

I recently moved to Hamilton, and needed some pieces of decor to finish off my new home. Spotlight was the only store that supplied what I needed, at affordable prices, and of good quality. They look so attractive, and suit my little house perfectly. I have since purchased a few more goodies from them. Thank you so much Spotlight!

Love the Hamilton branch. It seems to hold a wider variety of art goods than the other Spotlight stores I usually visit.

Good selection, but Im really not a fan of their sign up required membership for discount, the store also needs some form of map to help you find things - especially when the staff are few and far between.

Was ok lots to look at.staff lied and said they didnt have what we required only to walk straight passed it..so got what we wanted in the end..

The shop is a treasure trove and great for browsing however if you’re looking for something specific and need help on the floor it can be very hard to find (and very time consuming).

Disappointed what they said they had in stocks on the website they told me when I got there they dont have it in stock. I spent 2 hrs looking for things asked for help they didnt know where they were. 1 girl did show me where the stuff were was very polite and helpful. Have 1 stir in Hamilton and at the other side of town is really frustrating

Don’t shop there very often now or stay to look around. No toilet. Which we need more often when you want to shop around . The staff are lovely and very helpful.

Its my no.2 craft store choice that offers a fantastic collection providing you with everything you need which is why I was there and youre probably wondering why no.2 and its because its more pricey than my no.1 craft store.

When you get to know the layout of your local Spotlight, its a great place to look around for anything you may need. Most of my time is spent in the wool area but I have also purchased a little crockery.Usually a tidy shop - until lazy pick about customers feel its okay to put items they thought they would like, into the wrong shelf. Too lazy, or dont want to go back to where they got it from.Staff are very congenial. Obviously a shop who work to the motto - the customer is always right.

Minor repair to sewing machine took longer to find the actual place that will fix it and the girl there was not sure of what she was doing

My husband and I visited Spotlight on Sunday 13 June around 9.30am to buy venetian blinds. The store person (female, tall, lovely) from the fabric department was so helpful. She genuinely took an interest in finding out what we were looking for and went the extra mile to ensure we had all of the information we needed. She had good knowledge of the products, was friendly, helpful and we left feeling very well looked after. The other person at the counter was also really helpful as she had purchased the same blinds as we were purchasing. She gave us some good tips. The time that both of them gave us was really appreciated. Its lovely to have such good service. We will definitely recommend Spotlight Hamilton and will be back. He aha te mea nui o te ao. Was looking for their mondao bakeware but they werent with the rest of the bakeware stuff but at the back corner of the store which I wouldnt even think to look their.

Love shopping for craft supplies, got a couple of Vinyl Supplies for my Cricut Maker, to do up some signs for a job I was recommended for, and well for my first time experience of actually looking around this place, it was not what I was expecting, and what a great experience it was.Totally recommend to anyone - Pays to be signed up with them is well to get credit/points on your account, will be worth it after a while.Register on their website!!!!

This store has a great range of craft supplies. However I always struggle to find help when I need it. Checking out is very slow, and the staff seem like they are struggling with outdated systems.

Hamilton Spotlight was an eye opener. Way more in their crafts section than Sylvia Park, Auckland. How is that I wonder?!

I bought a few items online and did a click and collect (1st click and collect ever)... I went into the store a half hour later after the process and went to collect it.... Without my knowledge to waiting until I have to receive a txt for me to collect it...the items that I bought only had 2 left in the store and was worried it would get sold out instantly due to the sales.... With the help of Tracey N who was extremely lovely very helpful and kind. Directed me to Claire the manager to help get my products right then and there.... I was pleased to have my products and leave the store.... I am so impressed with the efficiency staff going out of there way to make this happen.... I will recommend this store to everyone.... Thankyou so much to the team at spotlight 😊

The selection of wool was awesome. Service was excellent. Will happily visit this store again when Im in Hamilton again.

No helpful staff. The wool was all mixed up, by the staff, it was stacked in the wrong place.so it was very difficult to find the same colour.

I think its a great shop for all your sewing needs and manchester plus knick knacks. The only downside is how the place seem disorganized or in disarray with their merchandize, maybe the store is too small for all their products, hence the four star. This place can turn into a Gem if they can make it more inviting as you come in.

Full of fabric, cushions, blinds etc. Slightly old school - the floor has an unusual layout and when it us busy there are queues at the check out.

I find spotlight a very interesting store for all the haberdashery and craft equipment, materials, even ready for a party! Blinds, curtains, bedding, great parking as well.

I was unsure what to expect when walking into this place its not very well organized and it is too cluttered with very narrow spaces to walk through felt very uncomfortable and somethings were not priced and expensive.I recommend going to Look sharp! They have the same items but more affordable.

I drove from Rotorua to Spotlight to buy a particular brand and ply of wool this morning, 02/March. I checked the Spotlight website last night which told me the shop had it in stock. They didnt. Both Rotorua and Tauranga have run out of this wool as well. Do I trust the website to order on-line? Please someone, update the website.

The store is great, but if something isnt available in store you cant order it in. You must go on line and order with delivery to home address. All this would be fine if the delivery fee was fair. My 2 balls of wool ($9) cost $12 delivery. Thats over the top.

Very very unhelpful staff,was looking for a microwave plate cover ,asked about 4 of the staff and no one was helpful,the one even said to me look in the party section lol and one said I must just walk around I should find it , very irritated

Customer toilets removed. My 3yo is toilet training and when he needs to go he needs to go. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Sent next door to a cafe where of course you can only use the toilet if you are a customer. Taking away customer facilities without making sure there are adequate alternatives is completely unacceptable. Had to abandon purchases to leave and find a local toilet before my little one had an accident. Staff indifferent.
