Dr. Lucas Pernsteiner is an awesome guy to work with! I have seen a lot of different Chiropractors over the years and he definitely makes the top of the list. I usually go to see him every few months for sports related injures. He is very personable and truly has your wellbeing in mind. Not the type of Doctor that will over adjust you or leave you feeling worse than when you arrived. He is a great listener and has always been able to get to the root of my problems quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend Bitterroot Chiropractic to anyone in need of their services!

Doc Lucas P. Is a MOST personable and caring individual and med professional...one of the very few out here in the real world that doesnt treat you like a herd animal but rather is seemingly only interested in the care you are in need of and how best to give it to you in a caring way so that you WILL GET BETTER!! I was in there for a DOT MED PHYSICAL and not needing any kind of pain relief but his attention to my needs in the moment was just as focused and caring in his detail and literally just made me feel that FINALLY I HAD FOUND MY DOCTOR ILL KEEP COMING BACK TO! Dr. Pernsteiner has gotten me through a couple of serious injuries, that mightve required surgery. With his kind and caring nature, he helped me regain full mobility in my shoulder after a rotator cuff injury. I can once again play ball worth my dogs and setup our farmers market booth. His treatment plans are created with the individual in mind and not a cookie cutter, one size fits all plan. I highly recommend his chiropractic services.

I’ve gone to chiropractor’s for 28+ years. I recently moved to Stevensville and was a little concerned about finding a chiropractor that I could work with. Excellent! Got me in quickly. Very personable and listened to my concerns. Adjustment done on day of appointment and was feeling relief right away. Had a follow-up visit four days later. Another adjustment and I am on my way to feeling good and ready to get back to work. Will definitely go to again when I have a back issue.

This was my first experience with Chiropractic work but Dr. Lucas Pernsteiner was great. He explained every step of what he was doing and what I could expect. I had severe back pain in my upper back behind one of my shoulder blades. I found it interesting that the Dr. cracked my ribs to help fix my upper back, go figure. The most important part is, after two sessions my upper back is 100%. Results speak for themselves and I got results.

Dr. Pernsteiner is a skilled and caring chiropractor. Efficient and straight forward in his adjustments. I always feel like new walking out of the practice. He is patient, friendly and knowledgeable.

I like the way my chiropractor is gentle with the Sigma instrument. There are several options on how he can work on your aches and pains. Manual therapy, the machine ,the t-zone and he listens to you to figure the best way to help you

I go to Dr. Pernsteiner monthly for a tune up with his ProAdjuster machine. That machine is just amazing! It tells him right where I need work done every time! When I do need a manual adjustment, he does the right treatment to help me feel better.

I tend to tighten up my muscles in anticipation of the adjustment. Dr. Pernsteiner is great at distracting me and doing great pain free adjustments. I will go to no one else.

I highly recommend Dr. Pernsteiner. I started going to Dr. Pernsteiner about 10 years ago due to chronic migraines. He was able to make me feel better immediately and only asks me to come back for follow up appointments when it is necessary. He truly cares about his clients. He is professional, knowledgeable and energetic about his field. With my migraines under control, I have issues that come up from time to time with my lower back. He uses his pro adjuster and/or manual adjustments - wherever my comfort level is. Dr. Pernsteiner listens to me and keeps really clean records. I have been seeing DR. Pernsteiner for several years now. With regular adjustments I havent had a lower back flair up since I started seeing him. I really like the Pro Adjuster treatment verses a manual adjustment. It is just soothing and effective. I feel the difference Immediately. DR. Pernsteiner is very thorough and addresses shoulder and neck issues for me with every visit as they occur. I went for years with lower back flair ups. sharp back pain, tingling leg, aching arch in my foot. Since I started seeing DR. Persteiner on a regular basis I have had no painful flair ups. Strait Up, keep it in check. Regular Adjustments will do that. No BS. Im a real guy living in Florence.

Outstanding Chiropractor!This review is a little lengthy but I believe necessary to accurately qualify my rating.I recently relocated to the Bitterroot from Arizona. I have received chiropractic care off and on over the last 40 years, due to residual body damage associated with my former career. As such I am familiar with the type and quality of chiropractic care/treatment that is available in the US.Due to extensive physical activity (brush clearing) on my new property, I over stressed my neck and shoulders. This resulted in pinching nerves which caused a significant level of pain and my arms to go numb. Combined that all created some very sleepless nights.I began researching to find a chiropractor. In talking to a few of the locals I knew, Dr. Pernsteiner’s name came up. (Hereafter refereed to as “Doc”) On-line Goggle and Independent MD reviews were favorable. The Yelp reviews were sparse and just “ok”, with one particularly negative review. What impressed me about that particular review, however, was the Doc took the time and effort to respond in a non-condescending nor complaining way. Don’t see that often.I decided to give him a try. The practice has a decent website with an on-line appointment request booking feature. I completed and submitted the form, which included listing my symptoms. I wasn’t expecting to hear back from the office for a few days, as it was late Friday of the holiday weekend right after the 4th of July.To my surprise I received a reply back from the Doc directly within the hour. He explained the office was closed for the weekend and the first available appointment wouldn’t be until the following week. What REALLY impressed me though was he followed up with recommending two of his competitors who might be open on the weekend and/or could possibly get me in for treatment sooner. To me, that was a huge sign of professionalism and genuinely caring about his patients/clients. As such, I booked the appointment with him.The office in Hamilton, is easy to get to, has adequate parking and staffed by a very friendly and cordial receptionist. They take cash, check or credit cards. I self pay, so I am not sure what insurance carriers they deal with. After completing the new-patient paperwork, I met the Doc.I was immediately impressed with his bearing and demeanor. He was very personable and easy to talk to throughout the visit. The Doc did a complete background history and pre-adjustment examination. I was again impressed by the thoroughness of his evaluation.Once that was completed we discussed exactly what I hoped to achieve and what he believed was realistically possible. My treatment and adjustments would be tailored accordingly.My first adjustment brought immediate relief of the pain I was dealing with. A follow/up appointment was scheduled a few days later. I attended that yesterday. My range of motion has returned-improved, the pain subsided and I’ve gotten the first decent nights sleep in several weeks.I will be seeing him again, as I am not yet completed with my brush clearing project and anticipate some residual treatment until that project is completed.In summary, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pernsteiner of Bitterroot Chiropractic for your chiropractic needs. I know for a fact he will be my “go-to” person while here in the Bitterroot.
