My maiden trip to Halvad and had visited this temple on my last day there. Calm and serene are the words that ring in my mind when it comes to this temple. The temples tapered top strucutre is in pristine white and red flag just creates a fantastic contrast against the blue sky. This temple if of a historic value and the one can notice from its architecture. Am sure evenings are pleasant enough to spend for the much needed mental peace.

Sharaneshvar Shiv Mandir is the one of hundreds Lord Shiva Mandir in Halvad. Its located on the bank of the Samantsar Lake. This Shiva Mandir have Ashram, Bhojan Shala, Aaram gruh, Havan Sthaan and many other temples viz Bhairava, Brahma etc. It has a Nanda kind of stepwell, said to be built 800 years ago. It has a library too.

It is a Hindu religious temple. It is one of the oldest temple of Halvad. Very peaceful place. There is a facility to stay here. Also it is very spacious place. You can worship Lord Shiva, Shree Hanumandada, Shree Ganpati and other Gods. It has a old construction of water soirce from Ground. There is a large space for Yagnashala.
