Its an Indian restaurant 🥘. They have lot of varieties and trust its damn awesome 🤩. I ordered masala tea 🫖, pav bhaji and bhel puri. And trust me everything was just perfect even TASTY. I really liked the masala tea 🍵. Even the prices are pretty affordable. The place was cleaned and sanitized. I can eat everyday here and because of the price international students can come here. 😀

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and the staff is really friendly😊. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good mainly Dosas and kothu parota are awesome😋, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it 💯.

I have been in Canada for quite a while and the biryani over here is so good reminds me of the original Hyderabad biryani. I have tasted almost the best places in Montréal too. It was a pleasant experience after landing in Halifax and having a biryani from Adda.❤@iamsawasim

You can find indian taste in some dishes mostly chat and veg. Seating capacity is moderate. Need to join tables if the group is more than 3 people.

Delicious Indian food. Love this place for the authentic Indian style cuisines! Only issue is this is in downtown and find it crowded sometimes, I hope they open more restaurants around the suburbs :-)

I travelled from New Brunswick with my friends for a three-day trip to Halifax, and we couldnt resist ourselves from coming to Adda on each of the three days. To be honest, their cuisine is the finest for the money. I adore the food and will surely return to Adda.

Went there for little snack, If you a food lover and can spend some extra money for Great taste….I would say try each and everything… food taste and quality is maintained in a good and generous way..Don’t forget to try their world’s best tea….

They have quite a few authentic South Indian dishes - Dosas and Chaats included!We had the Chicken Biryani (which had a good serving of spiced rice and 2 pieces of chicken) yumm!!And we tried the Masala Dosa (a crispy rice flour wrap with potato base filling) and Pani Puri (fillable crispy hollow flour-based shells served with a lentil mix, sweet tamarind sauce and a cool lightly spiced water which you have to assemble yourself. Its yummy and fun to do!)There were other items on the menu too - Samosas, Curry and rice combos, sweets, etc! Neat place although kinda tucked away inside a shopping centre.

I gave 5 star rating two months ago. I thought this is the only best south Indian restaurant in Halifax..but they are clearly disappointing..my friend and I went to this restaurant on 29th sep after 7pm and ordered samosa chat and papdi chat.. unfortunately both tasted the same.. they added too much of yogurt in samosa chat and loads of tamarind sauce in both the chats...the next day was my friends birthday. I took him there for brunch and we ordered dosas.. sambar was spoiled.. I asked the guy at the counter whether it was previous or two days old sambar...he had no clue... I should definately raise a compliant with health department...being a restaurant they should not be serving old or spoilt food.. we are too disappointed with this restaurant

Had pav Bhaji and Paneer Tikka wrap, both were really tasty. Will go there soon for sure to try the rest of the dishes. Also, extremely friendly staff. A must go!!

Nice little place in the heart of the city. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a reasonably good variation as well.The only disheartening thing was the below average quality of the service which was remarkably slow. Went there with a few friends and everyone ordered the same item at the same time. However there was a gap of about 45 minutes between the first and last items delivered, which was not the best experience when dining with a group.Nevertheless the place is worth giving a try.

Delicious!! I loved the vada pav. Rasmali and the gajar halwa were both great. Best rasmali in the city, and by far the best price - I can say this with confidence, as my boyfriend (who is Indian) and I have been on the hunt for the best!! I just found this place: IT IS INCREDIBLE! Such a hidden gem, right downtown. Butter Chicken and Chicken Vindaloo bowls are epic, and portion sizes are great for lunch. Would recommend, and have been bringing people here lately to experience it for themselves!

After 4 years of my stay between US and Canada, I finally had a delicious chicken biryani. I ordered the 5-6 people tray for $59.99 which was worth enough along with its quantity, quality and aroma of the actual Hyderabadi Biryani.

I loved it ! Biryani was so good, tasty and perfect cooked. And samosa chat was amazing too. Loved the Green chutney flavor. Raita was thick and yummy. I think best place to have Indian food in Halifax. Better thn any other place. Short menu but very nice taste. Will visit soon !

Fair warning, I just spent the last two days vomiting from both ends after having their half and half rice bowl (butterchicken and chickpea curry) with samosas on friday, which is very unfortunate, because I have been coming here weekly for months and the food has always been delicious, but lately it seems to have gone down hill. Im very disappointed.

The word Adda means a place to gather: a hangout spot. There were many people there at the same time as us, but it was still calm and easy to carry on a conversation without raising our voices. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the upbeat Indian music, and the friendly staff. We lingered to chat long after we were finished eating while I had a delicious Chai tea.My friend had the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo bowl, and I had the Chana Masala bowl. We really enjoyed the flavour explosion of each dish and their very different tastes. There is a lot of rice under the curry, but for me, it was the perfect amount to balance out the flavour and spice of the curry. The portion was so large, that I took home enough for another meal.Keep in mind that Adda operates in a food court in the Spring Garden Place mall (which is nicer than most mall food courts, by the way), and he opened with the intention to offer Indian street food at a reasonable price. With this in mind, we enjoy the the taste, the value and the atmosphere he has created for his customers. We will return regularly and bring our friends with us!

I ordered Masala Dosa from this restaurant via Door Dash. Firstly, it took so long almost an hour and a half and the masala dosa potato stuffing was Stale. You can smell it and can feel the badness of it. Im sorry for that but have to write it so that you can ensure the quality of food. Apart from it, the sambhar was good.

Biryani is tasty. But the premises needs a lot of work, innovation (in terms of food) and improvement lest the crowd will not last long. They need to sustain growth with healthy choices.

The food is really nice. Lot’s of vegetarian options available and the best of all Chai is available for just $1. Fast service and the menu changes on a daily basis.

These guys messed up my order I ordered paneer roll they gave me chicken instead and I don’t eat chicken. Takes too much time. AVOID this place.
