My experience was somewhat good but it can be better.. the problem i face there was lack of knowledge about where to go. There was no information board or something . But you can ask with the officers employed there.

I had visited the office of RTO Haldwani for obtaining the registration of my new car and issue of an NOC for transfer of my old car to my son who lives in Bangalore. I met the ARTO Sri Sandeep Varma . I found him to be extremely helpful , very pleasant and attentive. He went out of his way to ensure that I dont have to come again as I had driven down two hours from the hills to reach his office.How wonderful it would be if one could have such a pleasant experience in other Government offices too !!

Not a good place to be in when you are an outsider to Uttarakhand. Messy office, windows are not marked have to run from pillar to post and if you ask anyone you will addressed “ it’s at the back “Anyway avoid being held up by the traffic police in Uttarakhand. For any reason whatsoever.

Worst work system. Online system is just for show they wont entertain you until and unless you pay their dalal lurking outside to empty your pockets. Employees just listen to these dalals and wont even look or nod to your questions. This RTO should also be closed like kejriwal did to Delhi RTO.

Untidy place. Its was stinky. Official are extremely unhelpful and they want you to come through a broker channel, so that they can make money.Whole system is corrupt. Actually they dont follow the system to make money.

Experience is very bad ,but we have no option left the staff is uncooperative and behavior is rude because of administrative office

The place have all the facilities required but as it is the only RTO office for entire Nainital district, you must deal the crowd over there.

The officers were very rude and disrespectful towards people and premises was not kept neat and clean...

If you trying to do you RTO related work by yourself (without agent) then you have to meet Corruption first. Not sure for all employee but few are there very selfish.

Well as expected there was hell of a rush at every window and at the corner there was a empty room with only one employee sitting peacefully in it, i was happy as the nametag above that empty room says information centre and I was here only for some info regarding RC transfer procedure.But as soon as i asked the person about what shoud have to be done regarding RC transfer, he just plainly told me to ask at one of counter and didnt even tell me which counter I should go.So much for a information centre !!!!

Its not RTO it gives you feeling of fariyaadi bhawan, where you wants to take license or rc or any other documents. But what they do! Server issue, staff issue, server down , slow server.Come next day etc

I accept that RTO work for DL obviously takes time but even the working officer in RTO are helping you the least.The officers will be ordering you to visit from one counter to other and many times to the wrong counter.Those who have visited this RTO will clearly understand the hassle happening in this place.Someone has to look over it.The average time to make a DL will take atleast 3 hours which should be tried to be reduced.also beware of DALAAL in the office area...they will ask for money to do your work

Extremely unprofessional staff and planning. Also to mention since its an RTO department they should have a proper parking space within its premises which it lacks thus creating a chaotic traffic outside the office.

Its not gone so well it takes lots of efforts for me. But overall I manage. So be prepared for all those troubled you face.

This place has no clear instructions to get the things running properly. Most of the time the internet is down or is very slow, the traffic inside is horrendous, not managed well. Only one thing nice about this place is the staff, the staff is friendly.., even after every mess the place makes it is nice to have assuring people.
