Peace ful small city 30 kms before nainital. Nice place.you can stay here 2days to roam near about places.Economical. wood craft based items show pieces etc available at right price but you should negotiate well.

Small Railway station for people going to Nainital. For taxi service please come outside and then observe how drivers are negotiating with other fellow tourists and then book the taxi.Here at Kathgodam station, they have put lot of hoardings for maintaining cleanliness which I liked.Not a very crowded one. Its a small Railway station but maintained in a good way.

Such a lovely and clean place ...the entrance gate for kumaon region.. easily accessible.. station is always maintain in a good hygienic state.. various trains board here for many other states which is very helpful for tourists and locals too.. waiting rooms are well maintained..near by restaurant and hotels are also easily available for the travellers.. overall it is one of the most cleanest station in Uttarakhand

This is one of the Best and Clean Railway Station I have ever seen😍. This railway station is not that that big but you can get all the facilities there. Near the Railway Station there are so many Hotels and Restaurants available. Even the Bus Stop is very near from Railway station.

Station is neat and clean. We got down from train at 11:35pm with no one around but the police officials present were very helpful and made us comfortable in waiting room. Surroundings are very beautiful. If one wants to go nainital I recommend to get down here and reach nainital by taxi/bus. Taxi charges are Rs. 200/person or of you wish to book Tavera they charge Rs. 850-900 from 5am. At night charges are Rs. 2500/car. It is advisable not to travel at night. One can leave at 5am. Taxis are readily available outside.

Superb railway station built around a beautiful background with mountains covered on all sides. I liked more the cleanliness of the railway station. It was one of the best stations ever visited. It is the last railway station to go to naintal. It has good connectivity to delhi.

The station was so clean and neat, you will have dustbins every where only three platforms are available and its a terminal. You will have all facilities though its a small station.. provides two railway canteens with good food.. all types of waiting halls, parking place even for handicapped, cloack room facilities, luggage transport facilities, you will find all positive workers with fine behaviour and provide good information what you want with out hesitation i.e from enquiry to cloack room staff though you irritated them.. one of best station in case of behaviour, cleanliness and scenery

Well maintained railway station with view of mountains.Suggestion: To reach Nainital you have to take bus which you get from Haldwani.At Kathgodam you rarely get vacant seat in bus but if you want to travel in cab then you will get it for Rs. 1600/8 Seater., Rs. 900/4 Seater.Travelers for Rs. 2400 for big family.Rest if you want to go by bus then make sure to de-board train at Haldwani Station.

It is the last station while traveling North in uttarakhand located at the base of the famous hill station Nainitaal. The station is very well maintained and retains the old British architecture. No wonder it is an awarded station. The neatness is striking and the station looks rather cute. This is the last stop traveling on the line that takes one to Rampur, Muradabad and Delhi.

Nice and clean railway station. Outside station you can get food (other than package one), inside you can have snacks, chips, namkeens and some fast food. From here onwards you will get car or bus to nainital which is around 32kms.

Not much busy station like one in New Delhi. Do bargain for taxi fare to Nanital. & If you are going for all tourist attraction dont take the straight way to Nanital rather choose the alternate so that you can view the all other spots on the way ask for the details for the alternative way rounding up to Nanital to the cab driver!
