Haldia port survey unit plays main lead role to the port transportation.It is a unit that suvery a barge. That means a barge carring how much cargo (coal,lime stone,gypsum,clinker,iron ore,manganese ore etc.) in the vessel.and also calculate the water in fore peak tank & double bottom area. & also calculate fuel of engine room in barge. That calculation of water & fuel carring gives a better idea how much cargo carring the barge. The survey becomes twice or according to their needs. 1st time initial survey when barge be loaded. Nd 2nd time unloading start & end of barge cargo. More than 2 times survey needs when. 2 or more importer included in the same vessel cargo. That means two importer has different amount of cargo to share the fix amount of cargo to the importer surveyer survey the barge to get idea how much cargo should be discharged that can full fill the amount of cargo they imported.
