Pretty. A little crowded in evening, so kindly go only in early morning.
Very big lake with wide path around this lake. Good for morning and evening walkers and also for joggers. Mostly locals do walk and jog regularly. There is no entry fees for the lake. There is also an Island in the middle of the lake which makes it beautiful enough. Boating is also done here but due to covid situation it was closed for visitors.
With some very good hotels nearby and foreign visitors, very very unacceptable conditions of roads and drains around for years.
As usual border of the lake was polluted whereas the rest seemed to be normalButIt will surely be a good destination for your relaxation
Good. Evening open from 4 to 7 pm.
The lake is polluted and needs to be cleaned. But you can spend time in there

A decent way to spend a causal evening in the heart of Bangalore. Gets crowded in the evenings.
A large lake located in central bengaluru. Good spot for those who like taking walks, like to jog or just experience some fresh air. There is a small park embedded into the lake area as well and there is a boating service too. Found an open to air gym too.Parking can be an issue as there are main roads surrounding the lake which are narrow. The walkway also needs repair in some areas. There is no entry charge to enter the jogging/walking area of the lake.Noticed one well maintained public toilet too, which is a necessity if travelling with a family.Travelled to the lake from south bangalore and unfortunately the roads to the lake were covered with potholes which made travelling very uncomfortable. There isnt any convinience store nearby so stock up on water and snacks.
Beautiful and eye catching lake in the vicinity of the city circle. Ideal place for morning and evening walking. Due, to covid 19 no boating right now.
Really nice place to relax with family or friends.. parking available with charges.. opens at around 5om and closes by 7.30 or 8 pm
One of the most beautiful places in Bangalore to visit. I visited this place in the rainy season, so I got to see the overarching clouds full of darkness. The sight of the prestige building on the other side of the lake was magnificent. The local people take walks and jog here. The children and youngsters play sports in the ground and parks allocated for them beside the pathway. I’ve stayed in Bangalore for over two years and never visited this place. Finally I got to see the beauty of Ulsoor lake in the midst of the urban Bangalore. Definitely a place to visit in Bangalore.
Some portion is only open on a Sunday.Clean lake, clean sitting area
Good and small lake. Though maintenance needs improvement.
To walk around the lake, this place is good for jogging
Its a very beautiful lake.. Morning walks there.. May reduce your stress and anxiety.

Good place to hang out with lot of greenery and clean lake maintained by Madras sappers
Beautiful lake.Jogging track cum resting zone is pleasant. One can daily visit this place and will always love it like its your first visit.
Nice activities..
Nice place for finding peace
Amazing place surrounded with nature
Fitness and peaceful place
An artificial lake in the heart of the city, made around 250 years back during the British era by the mighty Madras sappers and still maintained by the same disciplined force. The city should be thankful to the army for being there not just as protective force but also as a service provider. This place is under pollution attacks such as waste dumping but army do a wonderful job in.cleaning the entire area. Its also a hub for nature lovers and workout enthusiasts.
Quiet and peaceful place with scenic beauty.
Amazing place for a walk
Nice
Loved the unset time...
Good time there
Good place
Very nice
What else to say but this my favourite walking spot. Water on one side and greenary on the other..
Ok
Ulsoor lake is a very peaceful and nice place for a morning and evening walks. The entrance gates has different timing for opening so, one needs to be aware of the timings beforehand. There are no Public toilets available in the campus. This place also has a historical relevance. Authorities are doing a good job of maintenance. You will find a good number of birds (aquatic and terrestrial) and plants. This is a good place for birdwatching. There are some small eateries as well outside the lake premises. In one of the entrance you will find parking space too but it can only accommodate a few cars. Parking lot is not easy to find on the Google maps.
An oasis amongst the urban desert.
😁
No more lake only sewage smell
Wonderful views in the evening, specially after sunset.. good availability of tea and snacks outside. Worth visiting for a leisurely evening..
Ehhh much hyped!!
Nice
I didnt went inside as it was closed but this time it opens in the morning till 10 am and in the evening at 4:30 pm..you can enjoy boating and the morning walk side by the Ulsoor lake will be awesome 😊
Visited this beautiful lake on one fine Sunday morning. The atmosphere was really cool and pleasant during Early morning hours. There is good walking track on one side of the lake which is wide enough to walk for many people. There are no fountains to filter lake water so water smells bad at many locations. There is also unwanted growth of flora at many locations. There is boating center on opposite gate. However, that is no longer functional.
Nice place
This Lake is near my School a Awesome Lake. Ulsoor Lake or Halasuru Lake, one of the biggest lakes in Bangalore, is located on the eastern side of the city. Can Visit............
Awesome places for a walk or to hang out with your friend. The route one way is around 2.5kms. the only issue is that the route is uneven can be disruptive for runs. If you plan to run here keep in mind that there will be many people in the mornings and evenings thus cant have speed runs here
17 years back i lived here
