Went to have dinner. It was neat and clean and had hardly much of occupants. Hand sanitizer was there but would be much happier if they do temp check before letting people in. Coming to the food. It was delicious. We tried prawn, chicken and mutton - all were tasty. In terms of taste 5star. You wont regret ordering anything. In some dish it feels like quantity was less. Overall value for money restaurant
Sampurna - the name itself says it all..!This is a must try restraunt to make your day SAMPURNA (complete)♥️A wide entrance with sufficient amount of parking space leads to an semi open waiting area. Sampurna has equal amount of dishes for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Thats the best part of it.The restraunt has a pleasing ambience. The food is amazing here and Im personally a fan of this♥️ we started with a mint refresher as a welcome drink and the bendi fry with the special curd they prepare was yum.Starters were good in paneer, chicken and mutton keema balls. The main course is mouth watering. Ottu shavige and soft idlis are served with chicken and fish currys which blends perfectly 🍛Fish frys are cooked seasonally with an affordable price and they were cooked really well. The spices was spread perfectly all over. In vegetarian they have Parottas, idlis and shavige with south indian spicy curries. The best part are the desserts..! I fall in love with them everytime it crosses my mind✨The coconut mousse is the best here♥️They prepare this cold payasam with the malai of the coconut which is served in an earthen pot. Mmmmm😋That ends the description of the place Sampurna. My mouth is watering already🤤So I personally suggest this restraunt for everyone out there and give it a try..
Sampurna is one of the most authentic South Indian restaurants that I have personally been to. I think their food speaks for itself. The ambiance is very cozy and a perfect place to get your family for over lunch or dinner. They have an elaborate South Indian menu from their starters to main course. For starters-Chicken ghee roast and paneer ghee roast : Sampurna gives equal importance to vegetarian food and their take on the classic ghee roast but with paneer was mind blowing.Andhra chilli chicken : This classic andhra dish was well made with the right amount of spice.Curry leaf chicken : This was an interesting starter and the curry leaf flavour really brought out the best taste. This was my favourite starter.Their fish starters are extremely reasonable and the bangude fish masala fry was the best of the lot.Main course:Kongunadu chicken curry with idli : This was hands down the best South Indian combination I have ever had. The chicken curry was just out of the world and the idli with the curry took it to another level.Pepper chicken curry with parota: This was another combination I loved. The curry was cooked perfectly and the pepper wasn’t overpowering the curry.Sampurna pottalam biryani : chicken/mutton Biryani is cooked in a banana leaf which really brings out the aromatic flavours of the biryani. A definite must try .Last but not the least elaneer payasam was the lightest dessert to soothe your stomach after such a lovely meal. The payasam was made beautifully which brought out the rich flavours of coconut. They also use palm sugar which makes it naturally sweet.Overall I had a great time here experiencing the true South Indian flavours.
Had an amazing experience at Sampurna .. if you wanna grab Andhra style food then Sampurna is the one . They have variety of dishes . I really loved idli and chicken curry combo .. highly recommended. I also am a big fan of their chicken ghee roast ,loved how the masala was coated and tasted great . Loved the fish which is fried wrapping in banana leaf to infuse its flavours .I love the mutton keema urandai it was delicious and a must try .loved the parota and the chicken curry combo. They also have elaneer payasam it was light and just the way I want my payasam to be . Last but not the least the tender coconut mousse , the best finishing to a happy meal .
Wrapped up a comfortable minimal local location, this curious little cafe is a pleasure to the spirit. Watch squirrels go around and play as you dunk into an evil bowl of delicate coconut soufflé. House close to a huge tree, this cafe has fused green inside too, with an open territory that houses a vertical nursery and little pots of green for what its worth. I could eat on the soufflé as it was heavy for one person. If you order one make sure you have a friend to share it with 😂.Price wise one soufflé costed 250₹... taste wise it was too sweet for my taste buds....quality wise it was amazing.....quantity wise worth for the money you’re paying.Do try it and comment here how did you like it. Rolling Dough Cafe located above this hotel, Ulsoor.
All the food items are very good especially prawn pepper and coconut payasum but the konganadu chicken was a little sweeet and not preferable. Staff suraj was very helpful and cheerful person.
I had been to this place with my family for lunch. And trust me we were all very glad and satisfied with all the dishes that we ordered. Ambience is good. The person who served us was very humble. This restaurant has a good variety for both vegetarian and non vegetarian people. I was scared if it would be too spicy but the spice level was apt and homely. Veg meals is top notch and unbeatable. Do try it. The price of all the dishes is reasonable. The menu has been revised and some of the dishes like pottalam briyani are not available. One star less as the time taken to serve after the order is high. Would definitely visit again and recommend too.
Ordered their Pottalam Veg Parotta online, was quite good.
This restaurant should be ranked #1 so far as south indian food is concerned. I was amazed at the unique way of hospitality showered on the customers here. Individual care is taken to ensure that all customers are fully satisfied and taste all the variety available here.On the whole, the ambience, supremacy of the quality of each and every ingredient that go into the making of the dishes, the way the food is served, all make you feel that you are on the top of the world.
Food tasted awesome. We ordered curd rice, small dosa and IDK, sambhar.Staff was very courteous and service was good. I reached when the restaurant was about to close but the staff still served the food. Food isnt expensive at all. Kira located near Indira agar if I remember correctly. Only thing which I disliked was the ambience as I prefer an open air restaurant. Overall I recommend it for south indian food.
Very good experience....very tasty food, hygienic, rates are very reasonable, south Indian thali is very much in demand...and even non vegetarian items are also very tasty....and one lady who is looking after the customers are very courteous and professional.
A new entrant in the genre of Andhra Cuisine and Coastal delicacies from Southern India-Sampurna, the House of Southern flavors is located in the busy neighborhood of Cambridge Road at the heart of Bangalore. The bright lights and the festive setup of the building is one of the primary highlights in the area making it virtually impossible to miss for any passers-by.As you enter the premises, the restaurant is divided into 2 floors-the family dining at the first floor and a regular dining area on the ground floor. The décor is traditional chic and borderlines minimalism with an ethnic touch to every corner. I sat on the first floor overlooking the courtyard of the building and enjoyed my traditional Andhra delicacies in due courses.I started with the Cauliflower 65 and the Paneer Ghee Roast, both of which were exceptionally well seasoned and mildly spiced to make sure the flavors do not hit your taste buds in one go. The build up of the flavors from mild to intense is an art that very few Andhra restaurants believe in and hence the use of Chilies is moderated here to attain this aspect of the cuisine. Andhra cuisine is all about flavors and aroma, and not just hot chilly -This is something that is very well mastered at Sampurna making it stand out from other eateries in the genre. Our Non vegetarian galore started with the very promising looking Prawn Pepper Fry followed by a very generous portion of the Chicken Ghee Roast, Andhra Chilli Chicken and the unforgettable Mutton Kheema Balls. The flavors in the Mutton Kheema Ball was so unique and yet statement worthy without being loud on the tats buds, it deserves a special mention in this regard. But the dish of the evening was undoubtedly the Crispy Gunpowder Okra, one of their specials with curd which made me crave for a few servings more. Try it with anything-as a snack, as an apetizer or even with a sandwich and some hot coffee-this dish is sure to win your hearts with its universal appeal on your taste buds. The Mains poured in with the Fish Moilee, a traditional Mangalorean curry served with hot Appams which complimented the dish in every way. This was followed by the house favourite-Dindikul Mutton Biryani with spices imported from Dindikul, Tamil Nadu to acquire the unique and subtle flavor of the Biryani. Unlike other Andhra biryanis which are almost bitter owing to the generous use of black pepper, this is one dish which will make you come back to Sampurna time and time again. As already mentioned, it is all about flavours and not numbing your taste buds with hot chilly which some Andhra restaurants believe in. I was very satisfied to have experienced such a unique restaurant where authenticity and aroma of the dishes are prioritized over popular choices. For Dessert, I had another special from Sampurna-The Coconut Souffle served in a tender coconut to make it more palatable with. The most sinful of the dishes tasted this evening, this is definitely going to be popular with their customers in the coming months. Sampurna is open for Lunch and Dinner and also has set Thali meals with different options to choose from. Drop by to experience authentic Andhra cuisine in the Central Business District of namma Bengaluru.
Sampurna Restaurant a must try restaurant for their fresh foodTried panneer pepper fry which was fried with peppry onion & tomato masala - ₹200, spiced rice croquettes(NEEROTULU) served with mint chutney - ₹150, chicken ghee roast with a blended chilli masala and lots of ghee - ₹240, andhra chilli chicken with chilli paste stir fried - ₹200 and gun powder okra as startersImpressed with their biryanis chicken biryani for ₹195|₹200, mutton biryani for ₹249|₹280Their Regulars are very pocket friendly with 14 items for ₹220 - special banana leaf mealCool and homely feel ambience with comfortable seating are with polite staffCar payments and digital payments are acceptedI RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO EVERYONE OUT THERE
This place has really friendly staff and definitely will remind you of your roots. Starting of with the appetizers, I would definitely recommend the mutton and jackfruit kheema balls, and if you have a good tolerance for spice then the Andra chilly chicken is definitely going to be your favourite. The mains that I personally liked is the special non veg meals and the biriyani! Both of which were cooked perfectly and the pappu is definitely worth every bite. The mutton and chicken biriyani was made in an authentic Dindigul style, definitely a first in Bangalore. Absolutely loved the whole experience of this place.
Nice Restaurant. Neat and clean. Tasty Food. Kerala style fish curry is so nice.

A beautiful newly opened Andra & south India cusine restraut at the heart of ulsoor is Sampurna. This place is very warm and decent, especially for family crowd , get together and they have small party hall too for celebration. Coming to ambience its very unique and special, they have 2 floor one is ground floor and another one is first floor both floors are furnished very neatly.. I particularly loved there Andra veg meals, chicken ghee roast, chicken biryani and tawa fish fry and its must recommendation to all.. also in beverage - we loved the home made lemonade and mint lemonade as well.. proportions of all the dishes were fulfilling.. staff was warm and welcoming as well.. this place would be a perfect spot for leisurley lunch and dinner.. especially for the south Indias
This is one place that will definitely remind you of your south indian roots. They serve authentic south Indian food and fusion food. Everything here is really yummy and I can definitely vouch for this place. When we were here we tried out a bunch of stuff. Pro tip : be prepared to eat like a king.Starting off with the starters:• the chilly chicken - this is an Andra style chilly chicken and it tastes amazing, really spicy but for some reason you just cant stop eating!• gunpowder fried okra - love the taste of this, its not oily and tastes just amazing!• mutton kheema balls - this is deliciously cooked, trust me just order this blindly!• jackfruit balls - this is a vegitarian alternative to the mutton kheema balls. Doesnt taste anything like jackfruit at all just so delicious.• chicken ghee roast - this has the most delicate chicken pieces and just tastes so amazing, definitely will make you love the south india roots more.• masala vade - spiced lentil cakes that tastes delicious with a side of chutney.• meen fry - loved the spice on this and could keep eating this. For main course:We got the special weg and non veg meal, both of which was loaded with elements like poori, palya, chamma curry, papad, rice topped off with ghee and pappu ( this is delicious), sambhar, rasam, buttermilk and a payasam. For both veg and non veg there was a small bowl of biriyani, with raitha. We also tried two biriyanis, namely the mutton and chicken biriyani which was just delicious.Beverages :We tried the lemonade, the pulpy grape juice and mint cooler, all of them are delicious and go perfectly with the food.Dessert :This is definitely one of my favorites, they have a coconut souffle, which is served inside a coconut. Absolutely love the presentation of this. We also had the shavige payasam which was just delicious, it consists of rice noodles drenched in jaggery payasam. This is such a lovely authentic south indian experience.
Sampurna- a new restaurant which has opened a couple of months back off Cambridge Road. The beautiful place is spread across 2 floors - typically a house remodelled to a restaurant which caters to the South Indian Cuisine in particular. The Interiors are done to absolute perfection although on a minimal side. The restaurant can accommodate around 50-60 patrons at full capacity. The Chef is good but lack the passion to deliver on presentation and some dishes on the taste too.The Starters tried-1.Paneer Ghee Roast- could have been far better2. Curried Potato Roast- one of the best dishes of the evening3.Neerotulu- a southern delicacy. Deep fried and served hot.Ended up ordering twice, went well with the Chutney4.Prawn Pepper Fry- Good, done to perfection5.Chicken 65- Excellent, loved the taste.6. Mutton Kheema Balls- minced Mutton dipped in batter and deep fried. Delicious7. Fish Tava- Best avoid . Fish too stale and to be off the menu. The MainCourse-1. Mutton Biryani- a absolute joy to relish this finger licking good biryani. The Mutton so tender and well cooked with the right spices. Highly recommended2.Fried Fish Moilee- again the fish was a spoiler here too.3. Mutton curry with Appam- combination good and tasted greatA meal for 2 would cost around Rs 1000-1200/- Both Cards and Cash accepted.Reservations not mandatoryCar Parking for around 4-5 vehicles available with sufficient 2 wheeler parking.Restrooms available just on the ground floor and well maintained. As of me, would love to visit them if certain dishes pointed out can be prepared better and the Servers soft- trained.Being located centrally, the restaurant can succeed well if these small things can be changed on war- footing basis.Good luck guys...
The food is cooked with outmost care. The place has got Homely and earthen vibe.
Good food and good person suraj...nice moments of having food .
Peaceful ambience..Very courteous staff. Ashwini who attended us, greeted well. We had a veg meal(👍👍), Mutton kola urundai (👍👍), Appam which is large in size compared to other restaurants in general (👍),Ghee roast, okayish. Overall experience was pleasant..Tummy full..paisa vasool 😁
The food and ambience is very good , although its brand new restaurant . Food quantity and taste is good , nothing to complain on it . People mainly visit for Andra meals which it is famous for. But the reason for low ratings is for the service . The place lacks bearers and service people which makes it high wait time. They really need to ramp up this problem else might end up in bad shape.
Tasty meal and good ambience . Recommended.
What a pleasant surprise. Didnt have any plans of stopping here, but just did when we were passing by Cambridge Layout. Opened very recently and the place is extremely clean. We were welcomed very well and given a table. Their recommendations on the biryani (mutton Dindigul style) was outstanding! The fish rawa fry was fresh and well cooked. Dessert was superb! Overall a very nice place and really happy we ended up here.
We had ordered Mushroom soup, Idiyyappam, Prawns pepper fry, Veg Meals, Egg Biriyani. Food was Homely not too spicy & taste was good. Mutton Biriyani was not available when we went. Elaneer Payasam was truly Awesome.
Great ambience. Very humble and welcoming staff. Good food.
The quality of food has not been the same like before.
Very good place to have authentic south indian cuisine especially Andhra style...its a place where you get cuisines of Karnataka, Kerla, Tamil Nadu and especially Andhra...the service is okay...the prices are adequate...the best dessert I had was Yalneer Paysam (coconut kheer)...was mouth watering...I prefer people who want to have south Indian dishes to go there...both vegetarians and non vegetarians can go hang out its a good place to hang out with friends and family.
I wish everyone to visit this hotel and enjoy all recipes , food was amazing and the way they gave respect over customers was good 👍Must food recipes to try is1. Chicken lollipops2. Ice cream with gulab jamun3.kulcha with chicken tikka curry
It is a restaurant that serves both veg and non-veg meal and snacks. I opted for south Indian vegetarian meal. Those who need more chilli would love the food. The staff is very courteous. Cleanliness is good.

Yummiest veg meal😋
Awesome food, well behaved staff, very good service. Enjoyed the ambience and food. Will recommend to everyone.
Ambience is good, tasty food. Low rating is because of delay in taking order nd serving food.
The food is good and the price is also very reasonable after a good lunch you could stop outside the restaurant for a nice cup of filter coffee
Tasty food ...clean ambience
Good food, clean environment and pleasant ambience! Courteous and friendly staff adds to the delight!
***** Lovely Dineout .....Great Food....Clean & Friendly Ambience.....value for Money....made me revisit with family.Liked their Biryani & Nellur Fish curry. Chicken Tikka was juicy & tasty. Memorable experience.
Great ambiance but average food
Amazing food and service
Probably one of the best desserts in ooru, and for me its the best coz no other dessert has made such an impact lately in the restaurant space. Its the standard jamoon. Gajar ka halwa, brownie or a scoop of ice cream. Some odd places stock up on payasam or kulfi.. This dessert breaks all stereotypes.. Holds onto the purity of what a tender coconut stands for, no added flavors, because the flavor of tender coconut itself is a winner in itself... Why ruin it by adding anything else to it. Creamy to the core, mild, subtly sweet ( they add the natural coconut sugar to it) thats the topping and it isnt chocolate...The malai or pulp of the tender coconut is retained as it is and the mousse is allowed to set inside it for eight long hours and served chilled. Its a family sized dessert and can be shared by three.. Though I wiped it off all alone. The pulp / malai also can be scraped and had with the mouse. This is as natural a tender coconut can get in dessert form and an absolute delight. Dosent let anyone feel guilty after having it... Thats another brownie point to it. Already operational in coimbatore and a raging hit there in two outlets, the promoters introduced it here in namma ooru now... And am sure the city will lap it up...Available at rolling dough cafe which serves continental fare and sampurna South Indian flavors across two floors. Is located close the MG road in Cambridge layout opposite to Nilgiris.Trust me, this is the best one could do with a tender coconut... Kudos to the team... Do drop in to savour this unique dessert. And if driving back to South Blore do get a take away for me 😁😁😁.
Food taste is just average. Ambience is good.
Excellent ambiance. Would love to keep coming back.
