Ive been coming to Ambara for atleast five years now and they consistently have such a beautiful collection of plants on the outside and a varied collection of tasteful products on the inside! From clothing to cushion to stationary and a lot more vintage stuff, its a treat to the eyes for sure. Ive also purchased a bunch of plants from here, always such great quality!

I loved the horticulture here, the staff was knowledgeable, answered and assisted me. I picked up couple of indoor and outdoor plants, pots and seeds. They have shop that sells ceramic pots, pots made of plastic and iron material. They sell manure and mud for gardening. The cost of plants and material were reasonable. The place also has a Cafe inside, its quite interesting but was closed when I visited due to COVID. Otherwise it is nice place to spend time catching up with friends or spending time by oneself reading books or just pass time sipping coffee and munching snacks.The build is an old charm, its a bungalow-turned into shop. If you are looking for traditional hand made sarees from South India, exquisite hand made jewelery, Jodhpuri dress material.....you should pay this shop a visit. I loved the jewelry!Unfortunately this place does not have good collection for Men. It had good collection for women. The top floor has quite a good antic articraft, if u want to buy them or simply like to be transported back in Time....head over here.One thing I felt aghast was the pricing of paintings meant for sale. The paintings were really good, I loved it...but the price was way too high and Im not sure it is worth paying cost as high as 35k.Overall, a good experience. I will visit the place again.

Well Ive seen Ambara in its peak.. One of the few boutiques of Bangalore 10-12yrs ago.. Since then its changed so much... 😐 but very friendly staff !!💕 the choice of items on sale are limited... Love their nursery though.. Lovely flowering plants and cactus... 👍

Wonderful location facing Ulsoor lake, superb setup and ambience of the store. Collection is selective and nice. Design and placements are definitely awesome. Promoting handwoven stuff from various brands and sharing the profits with last mile artisans sounds good, just its too good to believe.

Some plants are worth buying for the price. The majority of plants are a huge rip off!

Small cafe in a quaint locality. The desserts are amazing. The place has a nursery attached and a boutique to. Ideal place to spend some quality time.

Place is quite good, we went for getting plants. They have a good collection of plants but fee planters. The bad part is there is no one to help you with the plants, explaining or showing around even helping to take them out when you chose one. And plants are costly here when compare to other small shops.

Lovely store that has a cafe and an American seeds nursery too.The store has multi brand clothing for women (saris , kurta, stoles, dresses, blouses )and limited collection for children and men too. The idea of the store is essentially slow fashion. Everything is ethnic and truly Indian. Handmade and Handloom is the essence of the brands stored here. Very good collection of linen dresses from a couple of lesser known brands. I also found gorgeous silver jewelry by the popular brand Arnav. The location is quite central and parking can be done adjacent the lake which is a short walk. They have cute knock knacks for gifting and packaging too. Some beautiful printed paper products and knitted yarn products too.

Great place for plants and a few retro collectables (at least once upon a time). Spouse loves it. Parking is a problem.

I am in love with amabara. For many resons their inhouse collection of clothes saress and materials or be it jewellery is awesome. Additionally they hold exhibition for lots of brands which work with artisans directly and are involved in some kind of art and craft and in some way helping the people who make the craft and clothes possible. The nursey there holds some amazing plants and at very resonable rates as well as the quality of plants and other products is really good.Also the cafe has some amazing and tsty food on offer so all in all a wonderful place to visit and shop for ur dear ones.
