About an hour & half drive from Jhalukbari, you will reach this Lord Shiva Temple. Build by Ahom king Rajeshwar Sinha in 1753, the LING over here is in Ardhnareswar form. The temple is located in a hillock named Madanchola, you will find greeneries surrounding the temple which adds the beauty of the place. The temple premises is neat and clean and there is also picnic spot down the temple. Perfect place for peace and nature lover, also a great destination for family and friends to enjoy the weekends

This is a pilgrimage site near Hajo.This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the 18th century.There is also a pond within the temple compound where pilgrims use to wash their hands, feet and face before entering the temple.

A very calm and peaceful historic site away from the traffic. Maintenance and cleanliness of the temple wasnt so good and people usually litter without any common sense or respect for the temple premises.

Very auspicious and sacred place for Hindus. It is a medieval Shiva temple constructed by Ahom King Rajeswar Singha in 1753. Quite and peaceful, I can be there for hours. Do visit this place if you are going to shillong or Guwahati.
