The decor of Kinyobi is simple, cozy but narrow-spaced with limited seats. Outdoor dining is currently not available. The staff was friendly and welcoming.The options on the menu were limited. We had their Galbi Taco and Spicy Pork plate. The food was overall delicious and flavorful with reasonable prices.We loved their fusion cuisine. The taco was appetizing and greatly matched with Korean style steak. The spicy pork was too hot for me but great with rice.

This is a cozy restaurant with Korean vibe. Small and cozy. Dishes are small, fresh and delicate.Bimbipab was prepared with purple rice, which is rarely seen. More than 6 vegetables, including avocado, in this usually 4 to 5 vegetables dish.Seating is very limited but clean and cozy with a very high ceiling.

This place has very interesting dishes. Overall the food tasted good. Tiny chicken was little extra fried. Short rib tacos were delicious. Ugly Ramen was average. But I am curious to go back to try some of the other items like chicken wings and bibimbap and big plates.The hosts are really friendly. The restaurant is not that big. It’s closed on Sunday and Monday.

Kinyobi is a very approachable Korean restaurant that’s low-key but stylish, and consistently on point.

We came in on a Saturday evening looking for a quick bite before heading off to a local brewery and I was pleasantly surprised at how charming the interior looked. In the middle of Hackensack, I felt like I was transported to a spot in KTown, NYC. It wasnt a big place, but it felt spacious when we sat down. The menu is pretty simple, so no suffering from choice paralysis. We ordered the Ugly Ramen, Kimchi Fries and K-Town Ramen Extreme. Unfortunately we were too late to order wings since they ran out. If youre looking to get wings, come in earlier than 8:15pm. Our waitress, really nice lady who knew the other customers, took our orders and got us water while we waited.The kimchi fries came out really quickly and were steamy and crispy. Wow, the kimchi with the fries was so delicious. I only wish there was more kimchi in it. The pork was tender and the other toppings were on point.Both ramens came out a few minutes after and at this point I was feeling almost full from the fries, but the ramens both delivered. The Ugly Ramen was pretty good on the top. The spicy mayo sauce was tasty, but unfortunately I didnt mix it all in together (I got excited and ate it without thinking). Dont make the same mistake I did.The K-Town ramen extreme was pretty chill for me. I expected spice town but it was a little more mild, which I actually prefer.Overall, Kinyobi is a nice find on a Saturday night in Hackensack. Recommended!

Delicious fusion food and korean dishes. Parking was easy and we didnt have to wait long at all for our food. Also the fries were double fried, which is always a pro move.

Hands down the best chicken wings in Bergen County. Deliciously crisp, juicy and flavorful to the bone. Large drums or flats that will fill up a group. Excellent service and quick delivery times. Small menu that insures dishes are exquisitely delicious. Easy street parking and conveniently in Hackensack right off Rt. 4. I hope this stays delivering great Korean meals for a long time.

Would visit again to try more of their menu! I didn’t expect to find a Korean-fusion place around here so it was a pleasant surprise.Ended up getting ambitious and ordering two entrees as I wanted to try them: galbi tacos and their ramen. Tacos were tasty, fries crispy Korean-style (like you might get from a BonChon chicken). Ramen has some spiciness heat and is not at all like the flavor profile of Japanese ramen, so be aware, but it was interesting enough to try.

Kinyobi offers both traditional Kirean dishes and some unique creations of their own like Korean style tacos and burritos. We ordered ramen and the beef bap, to which I added the traditional bibimbap sauce. see the pictures. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was very tasty and served quickly and hot.- There is seating for only 20, mostly as little tables for 2 that can be combined, so call ahead to see what the situation is if you plan to eat there.- Takeout is available.- Parking is on the street.

This small little gem located on the far end of Main Street in Hackensack just adds to the revitalization of the area. Great small little plates friendly staff all the food is cooked to order. You can bring your own bottle. Feel free to stop by one of the two local Hackensack breweries and grab some beer. I was very satisfied that they will travel there again and try it

Excellent food and exceptional service. We had the ramen that tasted incredibly delicious. The kimchi fries is awesome. My kids loved the korean beef taco and korean burrito. The chicken was one of the best i had in a long time.I definitely recommend. The sliders were sooooo goooood. Love them

Not to mention so well decorated- it is the perfect place to take a pic and post on Instagram/Snapchat/Facebook, youll get tons of likes lolllAs far as customer service goes...5 stars! Went based off reviews on google and Uber Eats. Really disappointed compared to other ramen spots like Inspiration Roll. Ordered the Ugly Ramen, and soda. Ended up paying two dollars for a can of Diet Coke ( not specified when ordering). The food has no flavor with only 6 small pieces of chicken. Disappointing for a 12 dollar meal. Overall, quality and hype wasn’t there just Ramen drenched in spicy mayo.

The ugly ramen and chicken bimbimbap are my go tos! Found this place on yelp and its only been around for a year. After going twice in a week, its safe to say this place is a keeper and I hope it stays around! The bimbimbap wasnt oily or heavy like others Ive had and their ugly ramen is definitely unique.

Kinyobi, does that translate to thoughtful?— I really don’t know but that is what this place is. When walking in the atmosphere was charming and hip. Absolutely gorgeous decor with interesting and natural —yet modern elements. The service was fantastic and friendly, they are there to help and answer any questions. There was an older gentleman and he had questions about if he should stir and mix his bibimbap. The kind server actually showed him how to mix it and and combine his food. Originally, I had ordered wings on the phone but when I got there to pick up my food the atmosphere and the daily soup special enticed me and I had to sit down. I ordered the homemade beef bone broth dumpling soup. This soup was so delicate and elaborate, I was absolutely blown away. It even came garnished with an omelette chiffonade — this place is serious about food!! The chicken wings (spicy option) were absolutely delicious. They were sweet at first bite and had a nice heat that built up on the backend. The most interesting part was the finger gloves they offer with their wings, so thoughtful! My table was even offered a complimentary order of kimchi to go with our soup. Normally, I’m not one for kimchi, the cabbage texture doesn’t agree with me. Kinyobi Kimchi must be homemade because it was very good, the balance between heat and acidity was pleasant. It brightened the soup and highlighted all of the flavors. Kinyobi would make a great date night and I highly recommend to anyone who loves Korean Cuisine!

Shocked at the high ratings for this restaurant. I ordered the galbi and ugly noodles via take out and it was average, at best. The galbi was overcooked and not very tender and the ugly noodles were good but certainly not 4-5 stars. I would not order again.

First time there tonight and will definitely be going back. We had the spinach & kale dumplings and the burrito. Both were excellent and for a very affordable price for a mid week dinner.

I liked the food and the service. Its small enough that I can see it being hard to find a seat sometimes. I will definitely go back, but I will just have to hope Ill get to sit instead of taking it to go.

Had the #14 bulgogi rice bowl. It was delicious. My dinner companions also enjoyed their meals. The place is small, clean and more of a take out restaurant.The staff was very nice. Definitely worth a trip if you are craving some tasty Korean food.

The food here is authentic, light (depending on what you order) and refreshing. The chicken wings are excellent (highly recommend). Nickname them Yummy, yummy chicken wings.# The pancakes are not salty or greasy as some places make. It small but on Saturday, if you plan coming after 6pm, shouldnt have to wait for seating.

Food was very good. I had a wrap and wings. I was very pleased with both. Service was warm and friendly. The restroom situation was a bit odd as you had to leave the restaurant walk outside to the back of the property and upstairs. The place must have been a renovated apartment as the bathroom had a shower in it. The floor felt like I was in my buddys apartment. Everything was extremely modern and clean though.

Best lunch spot in the area ! Many businesses have tried to open up at that location throughout the years and somehow they never worked out until Kinyobi came to this area. The owner is really nice, the food is really good and you can taste the freshness and quality of their ingredients. Everything in their menu is delicious, and they make things really spicy if you request it that way which is something I love. Their wings have a good kick, and my favorites are the fried meat dumplings and the chicken bap. Good Job Kinyobi!

First visit - short rib tacos, spicy pork tacos, ugly ramen. Plenty of meat in the tacos. All excellent! Dont forget the crispy fries that came with the tacos. I think our favorite was the ugly ramen. Smoky, slightly sweet and spicy in a creamy sauce, it was tasty and satisfying. Time to work our way through the menu.

We LOVE Kinyobi. A small menu, but purposefully kept so because they have truly mastered everything they do! We are here for dinner at least once a week and have had everything on the menu by now. The food is delicious and the owners could not be nicer. HAVE THE WINGS AND UGLY RAMEN!

Not bad for wings which have about the right texture but need more sauce, they are pretty good for the bibimbap though. And theyre much faster than some other crane wing places.

This place is one of the best places to eat. It is luckily right by my office, so I frequent it often. If you are a fan of ramen, though the menu is small, they have something for everyone (including vegetarian broth options). Definitely try the Ugly Ramen, the house special. This place is tiny, but amazing, and everything can be taken out in good containers, even the huge bowls of ramen.

Friedly, fresh and really good service. Had what could be described as a Korean burrito and veggie dumplings. The meat inside the wrap was soooo soft and moist. The green sauce will light you up in a good way.

I’ve had the galbi tacos, wings, and the spicy pork bap plate which is my favorite. I recommend coming with a few people so you could try everything on the menu. It’s a pretty small place though, so you might want to come on an odd time or be ready to wait for a table.
