A very pleasant pub with good beer. u can drink lots of different beer: blond / dark / pale / english / german / belgian / barrel aged / IPA / etc. etc . we always like to stop by and have a drink there every now and then . recommend it !

This bar is just great for quality beer fans or if youre just looking to sample some of the local brews. 30 taps with Het Uiltje brews and some international guests and a nice selection of bottles and cans. The bartender spoke very good english, was friendly and he knew all about his beers. They serve flights. Food is simple, but tasty, pizzas with local ingredients and a huge variety of cheese platters. Thre is even some outdoor seating. I had a great time, will definitely return next time im in Haarlem. I could very happily be a regular visitor of Haarlem and only step off Uiltje turf to travel between their establishments. I can only imagine what the brewery is bringing to the town. Fantastic stuff.

They have very good beers, but they are pricey: Around 4.5 - 6e for a 300ml glass is kind of like too much

On a really gezellig street with some great restaurants close by this bar is something unique to experience.The staff have a great knowledge of the beer menu and can certainly help you select something that will meet your tastes.They layout in the bar lets the athmosphere grow and get better as more and more people come through the doors.We didnt eat here but a glance at the menu looked pretty good.

Awesome selection of beers, but I expected more from the service. After 15 minutes at our table, we walked over to the bar to order while the place was almost empty.

A quiet pub with a large selection of drinks on tap or in bottles, offers a good selection of cheese to go with it. The staff was happy to provide good descriptions if the various drinks and cheeses.

An excellent bar by Uiltje. A range of beers in many styles. There are 20+ taps including two cask pumps.Their own beer is excellent and guest beers come from several different countries.Pizzas are available, with a special on, too.Staff are friendly, well informed and make for a great atmosphere.I really enjoyed the music, too.Thoroughly recommended.

This was our first visit after being recommended by my Dad, he has been a few times as often stays in Haarlem. I was surprised that it was only a small bar but the selection of beers is big, around 20 on tap. It didnt take long to be served once we ordered. We then decided to have something to eat and choose the French cheese board. This was a whole camembert with toast, salamis and gherkins. It was around €12 and good to share as a snack. It also went really well with the beer we choose. Will definitely be back next time we are in Haarlem.

Feels like the friendly neighborhood bar, great selection of beer and the bar personnel takes their time for you. So you might need to wait a bit longer to get served but they take their time for every customer.

Hard to get table, but 30 tap beers and amazing cheese plates (or sausage for meat eaters) are hard to beat!!! The piazzas they offer are from Back To Basics just across the street, which is one of the best pizza places I have ever been to.

Cozy little beer bar with about 30 or so beers on tap. Be advised that these are going to be a variety of rare, unique, boutique, and sometimes strange beers that you probably never had before. Ive had everything from a pineapple weizen to a quadruple Russian Imperial stout here. The staff is pretty knowledgeable about whats available if you have questions.

Het Uiltje makes some of the best beers available in the Netherlands, and their bar in Haarlem was really outstanding. A relaxed environment where you can enjoy a wide array of fantastic beer. The bar also has an impressive cheese menu and offers both pizzas and toasties for a lunch or light dinner.I travelled for an hour to get to Uiltje Bar and the journey was well worth the effort!

If you are a beer enthusiast like myself then a visit to this bar is a MUST. They have 30 beers on draft that they keep changing, so always something new to try out! Aside from the beer they have really nice staff (who can tell you about the beers) and a lot of cheese to choose from.Can recommend!

Staff is incredibly helpful and the beer selection is almost unparalleled. Order a flight of beer and you can taste a whole variety. I’d recommend the little black dress and the smoked imperial. Don’t forget to order a cheese plate!

Best beer in town, without a doubt. And they don’t just serve their own beers — they have loads of beers on-tap from a variety of brewers, from both the Netherlands and the rest of the world. It is a lovely place to take family and friends. It is one of those places we will always visit, no matter what brings us into Haarlem.

They have some games and a lot of beers to choose from. The place looks a bit sober and small but its actually quite nice. Recommend if you want to try a variety of beers in a relaxed setting.

Craft beer bar. Up to 30 different bars on tap. The selection changes, so always something different there. They also other beers in bottles, so always a good range available. The folks there are friendly and have a good knowledge, so can help if you need guidance with the choices available. The snacks are good as well. They now offer Toasties along with other good snacks to accompany your beer. If you want something more substantial, then they partner with local restaurants, e.g. pizzas can be ordered at the bar and delivered to you (almost as many pizza options as the beer) while you enjoy your beer.

These guys are awsome... sorry its actually just one guy. I dont know how he does it, maybe sleeps under the bar or something but its always him. Services is casual and great, you can taste any beer you want and pick what you like. The barman is good at recommending beers Ive already been there with three different groups and he never missed, people always enjoyed what he picked out for them.The crowd that frequents it is diverse but easy going. The place gets very busy on the weekends.If you go do try their heavier beers on selection the imperial Russian is fantastic.

Modern, laid-back cafe with around 30 beers on tap. The majority are American/English style beers (IPAs, stouts, porters etc), but occasionally some nice Belgian style beers are available as well. I like the ambience/decoration and there is usually place to sit. Good pizzas and some finger food can be ordered.

The beer and the pizza was fantastic, but the bar is crowded and the smell is really strong. Its expensive for the experience it provides. The staff is kind and professional.

Its a shame Uiltje had to change their cute logo, but its not their fault! Its the fault of the country infamous for sueing everyone when they get the chance. Nevertheless Uiltje beer is still great and they release several delicious beers. The bar is small but cute and there is also some outside seating available. Bar staff is friendly and helpful if youre not sure what you want to order. Also very near Haarlem central station so not difficult to get to if youre staying in Amsterdam or another city.
