Quickie is still my favorite. But on second thought the place has some how lost its essence. Am visiting this place since its inception. Those days Quickie was just a small one room store. I found the store magnetic n lively.During my visit to the same place today I found it dumb some how the charismatic charm has lost.

Its one of the best department stores I have ever been. You will find every grocery items here including boneless chicken. Most of the goods here are of good quality and even some of the sauces are imported from other countries. There is also a small bakery inside the shop. Whatever you may be craving to eat, this shop will satisfy it all. You will find every day to day items here which includes kitchen containers, utensils, perfumes, hair spray etc. You will also find some exotic fruits and vegetables although the vegetables seen are not that of good quality. It might be due to intense refrigeration. Anyways this shop is one stop destination for your daily products.

I loved the shop. So many unusual stuffs/ eatables/ toys/ households u can find there. A bit congested, wish it was a bit more organized.I am definitely visiting again there.

MOST OF THE STOCK ARE EXPIRED MATERIAL.. Have been there 3 to 4 times. Every time the same story. They never check and remove the expired material from the display. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU SHOP HERE. CHECK THE DATE.Extremely cramped place. Avoid this place to be safe.

They also have a good collection of personal care products, basic stationary, house keeping products and other miscilineous items. Parking here is usually not much of an issue. But dont expect any discount or schemes.

Locally tagged product prices are too high, epecially perishable products like fruits and vegetables are over priced. One good example, Bengal Aijong rice is currently Rs.54 to 55 per kg, quick shoppe is selling it for Rs.72 per kg, huge difference. I still shop here for my own reasons, but foolishly wasting money on many products. Product range is good, non-veg and traditional items are also available.

This by far the best departmental store in Guwahati, they have the best variety of goods available.one cannot come back empty hand , you will definitely life to buy everything. Well organised, but seems over staffed all the time the staffs are more then guests any given time.The reason I gave 4 stars is because everything highly priced except the MRPs. And there is no discount at all.But rather then that everything is great about this place. If you are looking for something and its not available out in any store near you, then my suggestion you must give them a try.

The quality of the store has fallen, items are no longer available and of relative poor quality. further the store charges for bags even though it was not taken. the photos should reflect such. I would go to different stores and would suggest the same
