I had visited the doctor first time in the year 2015, for acne. Was very happy with the treatment back then as he totally cured my acne problem. But mind you I almost eneded up paying 25K above for the entire treatment starting from tests to meds to consultation and treatments. Multiple people told me not to visit him due to the drugs he prescribed for treatment, from steriods to antifungal ketoconazole on face but I was so blinded by my miraculously cured skin that I trusted the doctor blindly.Then 2 years later I had skin infections all over my body, thanks to internet I as a layman knew it was scrabies, I visited him, he gave me 6000 worth of anti fungal meds saying its due to fungal infection. I suffered day and night as scrabies is irritating and I was confidently putting on anti fungal meds, my scrabies got worse day by day. consulted another dermatologist who on the first look told me its scrabies, asked me why I did not take treatment earlier and gave me meds worth 500rs that cured me in 3 days!!! I then researched all the meds Dr. Mahanta prescribed me over the years. And I regretted using any of those. EXTREEMLY POWERFUL drugs. And the Acne resurfaced when I stopped using the meds. People beware of this doctor.

He only knows to fool people.he gave me all unusual medinces for since 3yrs n when I got acne he says that it is not acne it is some dangerous virus and forced to do a lots a blood tests of thyroid n all...I hv waste around 3-4 lakhs or more...such a gold digger 😈

Cant find zero star for him. I would have happily given. He is money minded and gives unnecessary blood tests. The medicines are found only in his pharmacy. I doubt if he is even an MD Dermatologist. He gave herpes blood test for acne. I was shocked. Please beware and avoid him

He is one of the worst Dr I can definitely say that. His only concern is only about money than anything. He asked to do herpes test for acne. Can you imagine? Herpes and acne??The moment you visit he will ask you to go for n nos of blood tests which are hardly relevant.just to make money and fool people. He does not know anything about skin or products. Where all the doctors across the world advise you to wear sunscreen all the time even when you are inside your house. This crazy dr believe sunscreen, toner, and all the skin care products cause acne. I would advise if you dont want to waste your money and ruin your skin, better dont visit him.

He is not a good doctor he only knows how to make money and scare you to death with his words because every skin related problem to him is deadly. I will never ever go to this doc ever again i wasted enough of my money already and i never got better until i chose to visit another dermatologist.

The worst doctor. He is simply doing business by giving lot of medicine which are available only at his own pharmacy. His medicine cant cure, it can suppress the problem and can create additional kidney issues.

Consulting fee was 500 RS for a small mark on my head and un-growth I went there.I came out and the receptionist was following me at which medical store I was going and the medicine cost was 4500 RS for so little thingSuggest you not to visit.

Unfortunately I dont have the option of a 0 or 1/2 star.So I rate him with 1 Star....I was suffering from high allergens. Can you imagine the type of treatment he offered me.......he told me to quit all kinds of food,beverage,fruits etc and advised me only to stay on Boil food for a period of 6 months....That was not all.....along with a range of other medicines, he advised that I have to take injections on my leg at regular intervals.....And the best part was, not only the doctor but also his Samiksha Bamunimaidam Clinic office boy was advising me the treatment and asking me to purchase the medicines. Finally I ran away and consulted another doctor. Today I am absolutely fine after my new doctor treated me. And surprisingly, I just took a 1 month course of anti allergy tab once a day. I really feel pity for all the patients who are being looted in such a fashion. Seriously. A real shame

Wrost experience he just making money from innocent people. He gave you no of blood test..which are not related to ance...stop making fools.. he knows only scare people.
