A very good religious place, water is available outside the temple for visitors to wash feet and hands before entering the temple. There are benches to sit and hang out with friends, you can also sit in the soft grass in the field .. The behavior of Pandits and other caretakers is also good. Overall a good place to hang out with friends, family and loved ones

Doul Govinda TempleThis temple is at North Guwahati.30mins drive from Jalukbari. It was a smooth drive. Roads were good. You can buy the prasad, saki and all other things outside the temple. You can carry them from home also.First you have to light the diyas. Then take a coupon from the counter.Offer your prayers, take the prasad and bhog. And you can leave after that.I can see some monkeys there. So be careful.P. S the ropeway not so far. You can also enjoy it.
This is probably one of the most famous temple in North Guwahati. The temple is well maintained and clean. It is easily visible from the road and is easily accessible. You will usually find tempo leading you to the front gate of the temple. One more good thing is that the temple is not very far if you go via Rajaduar Ferry Ghat. The festival of color - Holi is celebrated with great pomp and show. Overall a very good experience.
Daulashal Temple is located at Daulashal which is south of the Nalbari District. The temple got its name from the locality. Daulashal Temple is dedicated to honour the great Lord Krishna and his beloved rule elder brother, Balaram. This temple has witnessed a lot of history of India which also includes the Mughal Invasion during the 13th century. The place has been named so because of the canal that resided near a huge temple. In local language, the word ‘daul’ was referred to as temple and the word ‘khal’ was referred to as canal. Initially the place was hence named Daulakhal which later transformed to Daulashal. The Daulashal Temple experiences a large number of footfall every year.POPULAR THINGS TO DO & SEE AROUNDThis place is blessed with both scenic beauty and religious and heritage centres. You can explore the magnificent architecture of the temple and offer prayers and pujas to Lord Krishna and Lord Balram.GETTING THEREFrom any part of Nalbari district, you can take cabs to reach Daulashal Temple; also from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) travellers would take less than 2 hours to reach Daulashal Temple via taxis. From Paltan Bazaar Railway Station, you can take taxis to reach Daulashal Temple. This rain station has train connecting to Guwahati, Kolkata and Delhi. Several state-run and private buses from Guwahati take you straight to Daulashal Temple, Nalbari.(source internet)

Well maintained place, was in double mind before visiting because of the Covid scare. But it vanished after visiting, everything was well organised and systematic
Temple of Lord Krishna. A holy place with its own charisma. Lots of people visit specially during holidays. The temple accepts raw materials like rice coconuts moong banana fruits etc. Also there are options available if you want to procure prasad with a nominal fee. Prasad is served to everyone for free who visits generally between 1:00pm to 1:30pm.A must visit.
Loved the place always
Its about 10 kilometres from north side of SARAIGHAT bridge. Driving road is fantastic and its mostly non populated throughout the temple. A petrol pump is also there on the way. The parking place near the temple is sufficient enough. The temple is very very well maintained and it can be enjoyed thoroughly. Do drive own vehicle or hire vehicles to go there. Happy holidays.
It is a Lord Vishnu Temple, situated at North Guwahati. Very spiritual place.
Heavenly
Good peaceful Tample
Situated on the bank of river Brahmaputra. This is well maintained and attracts more trendy crowds. Calm and beautiful neighborhood. More attractive if you visit before sunrise and have a view time of sunrise. Temple was closed due to covid when I visited. But campus is clean and one can use this for meditation if you visit early morning. Overall good place to spend sometime with your friends and family.
The most systematic one with superb management before as well as after covid 19 protocol. Please visit before 1pm as it closes after that. For the offering/prasad, you can either opt to bring it yourself or pay at the counters and collect accordingly as per the provided receipt. Also very beautiful and clean.
