I and my best friend got this opportunity to be a part of Encamp hiking weekend programme..Being a plant Mom, a gallivanter and a recycling-reuse enthusiast,I always had this wish to trek.. How lucky I feel that Encamp is hosting such programme in my beautiful city itself..I am writing this feedback after two days, but believe me I am still living in those fresh flashbacks.. It was such a great and healthy experience to hike with all the like minded people.. All the covid protocols were followed.. It was like a small family/friends get-together.. Just a wonderful set of people. If you feel you need a fresh breath of air, you need to be with Encamp. Arranging camps at some of these locations, is one heck of a task in itself. But these guys blend it with Good food and service. They have literally leap bounded my expectations.

I have been to 3 expedition with them and each one has helped me grow and explore a lot, know myself better.Very peaceful people with great energy !Especially Prakash bhaiya and boar daThey both are beautiful soulsI went on a dzuko valley expedition with them and it was the best experience I could have over there.Full power!

I found Encamp Adventures wanting to seek adventure somewhere in the beautiful Northeast India. I loved their principles and ideas on sustainability and so decided to join them in their Djukou valley trek. What I expected was an adventure and a beautiful valley.. what I received along with it was this unforgettable experience of meeting a wonderful team of twenty, each one of them unique in their own way. The magic of the valley worked its ways and created such strong bonds between encampers.There were challenges.. but what is an adventure without a challenge?! The night trek that took many of us to a test turned out to be my craziest trekking experience so far. Meeting kindred spirits along the way.. listening to their stories.. singing.. dancing.. WOW! Every time I think about it, makes me want to go back.Team Encamp did a really good job in giving each one of us learning experiences that made us true adventurers of life! 💞🍃Words are not enough to say how thankful I am!!Keep doing the good deed! ❤️😊

This was my first trek with Encamp. Trekking to Garbhanga forest and waterfall was full of fun with amazing activities. Trek guide Nishan and lama were superb and friendly. Will surely join and contact them for future trek too. Collecting garbage while trekking was great way to return something to Mother Nature.😊🏵️🌱

Had an amazing day out with encamp adventures. Went to Garbhanga waterfall. It was a short hike with around 15 people. The organisers were really friendly and organised everything very well. They took a lot of effort to make sure we all are safe and created such a fun vibe.Tip: if you are ever going with them, ask them about their adventure stories. They are all really fun to listen to.

What a nice and amazing Sunday out with some awesome 11 people and Encamp Adventures . The best camping experience I had with my wife and 6 year old kid and other family members. Hospitality was amazing. Tents are well maintained, has clean linen and fresh sleeping bags, in case required. Entire area is well maintained and lighted during night time. Overall its a neat and clean camping I have ever been to. Our tent was near River side and we could leterally keep gazzing the shadow of water on our tents. And not say fire place was amazing which was enlightened with few notes of guitar from Prakash (our host for the eve and also owner of Encamp). Prakash served us well and we are now waiting to schedule next trip with Encamp. Thanks

Northeast has become an integral part of me not only because of the serene atmosphere & welcoming localities but also because of the places I was taken to chosen and arranged by encamp adventures. All the arrangements were hygienic, safe and women friendly.I had such a variety to deal with in the entire trip from camping to home stays to hostel to food to treks that I can’t decode what did I enjoy the most. That’s the best you guys could’ve done to help me get out of my monotonous life.Loved the time management with itinerary, welcoming organisers & my hosts!

Excellent service in organising our trip in Meghalaya, choices of places, hotel all were good. Kudos to Nilesh, he was guiding us constantly during our trip and also checking on our journey!!! All stays were very good including the remote place like Mawsynram. And also since we were vegetarian, recommend good places to eat also. I have had very good experiences with Encamp Adventures. It all began in 2018 when I booked my stay at their campsite in Nh7 weekender Meghalaya. They make you feel comfortable with all their facilities which is really good. Food + stay + employee behaviour + hygiene environment is all upto the mark.Since then Ive had couple of other experiences with them in Hornbill fest and even in their campsite here in Guwahati.What I love most about them is that they are eco friendly and care about the carbon footprint; which is quite rare to find in any business.

I traveled to Meghalaya in last week of December, 2018 with my wife. We booked camping for one night at Dawki river with Encamp. We were mesmerized by the view and the location of the camp. Mr. Prakash was a great host. Bonfire in the night, live singing by Prakash, chatting with other group made it great there.All in all great place and great host will make you love this place.Will book another trip with encamp also in other parts of north-east and nepal too.

It was a Great experience. We were a group of Girls . Prakash and Lama were our guides. They make us felt comfortable .The Guides were very professional, friendly and also helpful. I even felt sick and had to threw up while climbing the steep part of the hillock, the whole team was so kind and generous. Such a memorable hike it was.Thanks to Prakash and Lama, And also to the entire Ladies Team.

I dont recommend this camping.... For bon fire they take money. They dont give lock for camp or water near camp.... And food is like bufeet but they give less amount..

We camped on the river island in Dawki. It was absolutely perfect. The food was really good, staff was very warm and hospitable, the tents were very spacious and we enjoyed the experience.

Our trek guide was Prakash and he took us to Kamala Nagar. His friendly attitude and professionalism made our experience worth remembering. The trail was well receed and hence we didnt face any problems during the hike. I wish the company best and hope to return again to North East for more adventures!

My experience with Encamp Adventurs was amazing. Starting with their services and people who are taking care of camping are very nice and experienced. All the tents are very spacious and equipped with best possible amenities. Being a scary person, I was concerned about staying in tent in the mid of forests. But the concern and hospitality shown by the staff really made me feel safe. The jam sessions, dinner, movie and all their activities in the evening was so enjoyable. And the best part” night sky full of stars. I really loved the place and regret not staying longer.All the spots they have chosen for camping are mind blowing and very natural.... I’m sure those places is not yet known by any other tourism/ camping group.Please visit once and youll be in love with the place .

Encamp adventures do some great work with planning .. however the practical execution of the planning is a bit off .. also communication or rather mis communication can be an issue too .. you need to precise of every detail when you travelling with kids and family to set the expectations right. Great energy of the team and always willing to help. Would recommend using their services but with bit of caution so you don’t end up being surprised by the outcome.

The interiors of the tents at Encamp Adventures is awesome. Along with an actual foam mattress they also provide bedsheets, pillows and sleeping bags which are so cozy.

And thats my good friend Kabita, who is quite passionate about traveling with a good sense for adventure. She is also enthusiastic regarding meeting new people and showing them places across the northeast.Traveling with them is definitely the most awesome thing you could do in northeast.

Me and my friends camped in two different places in Meghalaya with Encamp Adventures - in their campsite at Cherrapunji as well as in Dawki. The team was super helpful and courteous. They helped us with directions over the phone, suggestions of places to see and finally when we arrived, they treated us with utmost respect and friendliness. We particularly had a blast at the Dawki campsite. We swam in the river, did cliff-diving and set up our own tents. The campsites were clean, scenic and memorable. I highly recommend staying with Encamp for some amazing adventures. You wont regret it!

Just one word for the place out of the world. We as a family had a really great experience. Rathan had taken care of us very well, he is well educated, mannered and compassionate person. They are really trust-able and dependable.

Very bad ,they dont have the capacity to provide tent . Me and my friends were out during new year and wanted shelter very bad and wanted to stay but they ignored after so much of request.Not helpful.

I have worked with this troop of madening people, who are so passionate and enthusiastic and love what they do. Travelling for everyone can be a retreat or relaxing, but they breathe travel eat travel and live travel. Awesome experience admist mountains and on banks of Dawki river ...all 5 elements of nature around you...blessing of naturePros -1. Good and neatly maintained tent to sleep...tightly secured with stones all around so does get blows away due to heavy winds in the night. They provide air pillow and sleeping bag.2. Friendly staff - there is a couple with 2 small children to take care of 15 guests.3. Secure - no animals or reptiles around4. Breakfast - 2 options available either to choose from bread omelet or Maggi with tea.5. Boat ride to the camping site is super. Ratan also helped us in arranging the cab through out the trip which is very helpful.Cons-1. Sleep becomes difficult at night due to heavy and noisy winds.2. Food preparation gets late due to less staff. Not sure of hygiene but food served was okay. Little planning ahead would surely bring lots of happiness to guests like serving snacks with tea in the evening. Providing water bottles upfront.3. People around would get drunk and blabber ...we should really ask them to stop for our peace of mind. Though it is not trouble some it irritates.4. Dinner served late... options available areFish curry, bland dal, boiled potato and when requested they gave omelet. Disappointment for foodies.5. They charge money for boat ride 500/- on return which should have been part of package.Tips1. Carry mosquito repellent2. Band aid and first aid kit3. Power bank - there is no electricity to charge phones4. There is Airtel network available

I camped with encamp adventures during ZFM 2018, and my experience with them has been more than pleasant. The camping spot came after a small detour from the main road, set in a small clearing surrounded by huge trees. Ziro is a magical place , we had 4 fabulous days full of food, music , bonfires, and lots of conversations. There are some really dedicated souls on the team who make sure you have the most comfortable time. Looking forward to my next stay with encamp!

A brilliant experience at Shnongpdeng. It was all possible because of you guys. We were 10 people and we had a blast. Everything was just as we expected. Encamp took care of everything and all we had to do was to enjoy. The food was also very good. Frank and Ratan, you are stars. Keep up the good work.

Best place to hangout....very good service and food...friendly environment

We did overnight camp at dawki island in the middle of dawki river. It was pure bliss. There was bonfire, live music, stories and good food. We loved every bit of it. In the morning we did kayaking, cliff jumping and there was snorkeling too which we did not do. We had a great host. We met a group of 8 people on the camp who were very friendly and we bonded well.

I visited Ziro, AP in 2018 for the first time with my best friends. I was mesmerized by the beauty of North-East and its people. We stayed at Encamp adventures and it was a wonderul experience. The food was great, cleanliness was nice too. Best of all was the host themselves. Each one of them is a gem. They always make sure one of them is with you to play games or playing guitar or telling great stories.Those late night talks around a campfire 🔥 is my favorite.Thank you team encamp for a memorable experience. Extremely warm and hospitable folks ( FRIENDLY should be the word) . Well lead. Encamp Adventure folks can be approched practically any time of the day or night for any query under the sun (and they answer to your queries as politely and as eagerly, even after you have paid the other half of the full amount) On a serious note... very professional people, and Im sure they will go a long long way. I cant think of touring the North East with any other team....than that of Ratan and his team after my experience on this tour. TRY THEM. You wont regret. All the best Team Encamp.

Cold air,dark night, worm fire,bright stars...are the best combo of a camping....all I got in this Encamp adventures.Must visit this place when u visit Meghalaya....lovely place,river stream from India flowing into Bangladesh...its simply awesome...it was very safe and comfortable,and not forgettable specially that cliff jumping that I had done...thanks for giving us such wonderful memories...

We booked Encamp for Ziro Music Festival. It was the most premium among all camps. Later it turned out there was nothing premium about their services except their cost..First things first, guys managing it, Ratan, Kabita, Saman are amazing guys in terms of personal behaviour but grossly lack management skills needed to run such a huge event. (Judging by how the camp turned out).The camp was grossly mismanaged which killed our festival plans and dampened many activities we could have otherwise done if it was not located in such a distant location from the festival grounds..Food served was average..Even the basic amenities which were promised like Water and Electricity was unavailable for most of the time. Which was not the case in other camps..The time and resources they put in promotion could have been readily utilised in providing services. Even few services which were promised in our packages at the time of booking were not provided to us. Like their after party was a dud and no show. Hot Air Balloon was promised to all 4N/5D package but werent provided..Other problems were camp became a messy slush ground. It took immense courage to come out of your tents and go to the loo let alone festival grounds..Grossly unsatisfactory behaviour on their part. But I heard the turnout expected was much more than they planned, so maybe theyll do a better job next time.

Encampadventure is a place to stay! I visited during my NH7 Weekender fest this year & stayed with them in d woods . The accommodation, site, facilities are great & you get to meet so many people who r just lk you . It was my first camping experience with them n with my family too... my son just loved it and we came back home with wonderful memories of the place. I highly recommend the camp site for anyone visiting North East. Only 1 suggestions from my end is to please improve your food quality...rest is perfect....peace from my end till we meet next time.😇😇👍👍

Wonderful experience. We booked camping with them, and on the day of camping it had been raining heavily for a couple of days, due to which they advised not to camp and provided an upgrade to Tents.

Encamp Adventures, we were really looking forward to a much much better organized stay for the money you charged us and the promises you made. I feel, there would be others who will share my sentiments. Few things which were totally not expected are brought out below.1. Camping like this, with 180 odd people does not work with volunteers and friends. Volunteers and friends work at their own pace and stye, definitely not sensitive to the task at hand. You were required to have a dedicated trained team to oversee the task at hand. This was sadly missing.2. The infrastructure you erected was nice but wasnt managed well.The bar was defunct.The dining place could take in only about 20-25 heads at a time, and you had booked about 180 heads, grossly inadequate.The music stage/station for the after party was just not managed at all. It was left to the fancy of the guests to play something.The lighting of the camp was just bare minimum. In fact, the first day on arrival during registration all work was being done with the help of torches. Believe me it was a big put-off.The welcome drink is to be served on arrival. But it was given only when asked.There were only four toilets for such a large number of people, with the camp spread out in such a large area. Result, Long ques, resulting in deteorating hygiene, day by day.Only two bathing toilets. The wooden log walls had perforations within them and were see - through. A gross violation on privacy. It was repaired later, but this should have been checked earlier.3. The garbag collection and disposal was totally flawed, in fact it never existed. In fact the garbage kept accumulating and remained at the same place for all four days.3. You told us that we were with nature and the flora and fauna co-existed. That there was no ristriction for cattle to rome freely in the camp. Thats alright, but I myself saw the cows eating through the garbage and eating the plastic and other non-biodegradable waste with it. This is unpardonable.4. Other camps that we visited, offered much better organised camp sites in terms of electricity, stby generator systems, lighting in the camp. The music stage at our site was never managed to give a worthwhile evening at the camp site.5. Mobile charging board just catered to about 30-35 charging ports, grossly insufficient. So much so, a friend lost his charger and a battery pack.Roughing out while camping is one thing, but not providing promised amanaties for the huge amount charged is another thing. I felt that the camp was just a place to stay for the night and nothing more.The first thing a person looks forward to in the morning is a good cup of tea. The kulhars provided were just enough for 2-3 sips. Just not enough. The food was similar on all days. No change of menu and bare minimum provided. No fruits.You had promised us a lot. But you could not provide us the comfort of the stay. I feel we have really overpaid for our experience with Encamp Adventures.I leave it up to you and your CORE TEAM (if you have one) to do a thorough introspection and know for sure, that the Profits you made vis-a-vis the inadequate facilities you provided are way too much out of balance

Must visit this place when u visit Meghalaya..managed by a group of young nature enthusiasts...this place is simply a hidden heaven...they provide u camping experience right next to dawki river..food is great and its so close to nature...u forget the hustle n.bustle of city life...just unwind and relax....

It was good. Adventurous..people who like being amidst the nature will definitely like it.

I met the encamp Team at Ziro Festival and we became good friends. I joined them in Nh7 a few Weeks later and had one of the best moments of my journey through north east India. Highly recommanded!
