Was the first time I actually located a genuine book store which doesnt only sell course books but has an array of different kinds of books for all age groups ,in Guwahati. Moreover the books were neatly organized for the convenience of the buyers, also with a great shop holder who assisted me with what I should buy. Really pleasant experience. 10/10 experience!

One of the best book stall I have visit in recent times. All kinds of antique and some special subscription books are available here. I got the novel of Sherlock Holmes and a set of Munga. Many international comics, best seller and mungas are available here.

Loved the ambience of the store, so cool and quite well stocked. I wanna thank the owner who was kind enough to spend time with me choosing books for my daughters. I loved his recommendation A man called Ove . I enjoyed every page of that book; laughed with it cried with it .

Sunny-the owner is a proper salesman. He will try his best to lure you in buying something with his smooth talk. The books are sold at MRP which is way way higher than the actual market price. I was promised a discount, however at the time of checkout i observed that the cash memo had the exact MRP. The same day the books were available at half price over the internet.Mr. Sunny also tried to sell me a series collection with the first book missing by saying things like it might go out of print, so grab it right now.Oh! And did i tell you about the coffee? He will pitch the coffee very smoothly so much so that youd think he is nice! But beware!! Its 60 bucks for the normal ₹10 CCD coffee served in office canteens. Haha.What Sunny obviously doesnt realise is that the cost of retaining a customer is way way less than the cost of acquiring a new one. Which might explain the stores low inventory and scanty collection..(low readership!).Sunny, being an alumni from the same school, you disappointed me, my friend! :( But yes, keep the change!

This is perhaps the only place in the busy GS Road stretch that has a good collection of books and games for adults and kids alike. I went there to buy books for my very young niece and nephew and wasnt disappointed. They have books in a considerable range of prices. Only thing is, they are all sold at MRP. So if you have time on your hands and are used to looking for the most economic deals, you could try buying them online. But yes, in a world where children play on smartphones before they learn their ABCs, this place is a ray of hope.
