This is a famous Lord Shiva temple, situated at the heart of Jalukbari. Actually this place has four temple, the first temple is of Lord Ganesha followed by Lord Shani and Lord Hanuman and finally Lord Shiva temple is situated at the top of the hill.

It is beautiful temple . U have to climb many steps to reach the main temple. By reaching the top you will amazed to see the beauty from the top . Must visit to have the blessings of god 🙏🏻

The temple is situated on a hill top near Guwahati city. One needs to climb close to 400 steps from the parking lot to reach the main temple. Very easy to climb up n down. Calm, and fairly neat and clean surroundings. The temple can be reached by personal vehicle or government operated buses.Ive attached few beautiful clicks taken during my visit.Thank you.

The temple is surprisingly well maintained for a thousand year old seaside temple and the site of coronation for Balinese kings. As other reviews have said, watch out for monkeys. If you wear glasses, bring contacts - they will try and steal them.

I love the place because it is situated in a hills and the hill is surrounded by a river from two side so the view is very very nice. Devotees coming can bath is the river and then worship god. Every year thousands of devotees come here to worship Lord Shiva during Bolbom. I try every year during bolbom to visit the temple.

An old temple of lord Shiva at top of the Lankeswar hill from where the mighty Brahmaputra river and both sides are visible. Cement concrete staircases provide the devotees an easier access though it may be tiring for unhabituated peoples. The view from top is wonderful.New temple was constructed about 5 years back.
