I have been to this resort couple of time and this visit was after 4 years. The place is well maintained and food is awesome... I loved the food and never anticipated such good food. Yes.. some issues with room service but can be ignored if you keep you standard as a standard as we all are humans...

A wonderful experiece only 40 mins drive from Guwahati city....I wemt there just to relax with family in a August weekend for 2 nights. Wonderful location...away from the noise of city life...surrounded with greenery....with view of hills at a distance...good rooms....good food...well they have a well stocked bar also. Room has a electronic kettle with free tea/coffee and refrigerator. You may bring your own beer and keep them cool in your room only. Activities include elephant riding, zip lining, shooting, archery,swimming, forest treking etc. Some of these are free for inhouse guests who take CP Plan. All the staffs are well behaved and overall front office is so much attentive to guest requirements. Thank you Mithun for making our stay memorable. Overall I do suggest this place to everybody for a relaxed holiday amongst nature.

Had a great stay with my family at the resort. The rooms are decent with beautiful, calming view. There is a wide range of activities, which are quite affordable, fun and keep everyone engaged. Favorite for me, was of course, ziplining. The infinity swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. The food again is very affordable (by similar resort standards) and delicious, although the service was a little slow. Would recommend people to book a multi-day stay here to just chill and enjoy. One of the best places to relax around Guwahati.

A very calm and serene place to visit with friends and family. Some fun and exciting games for the children is an added reason to take our childrens there. Staffs are polite and hospitable. Indian and ethnic dishes are awesome.

Had a great experience:-Staffs are so helpful.I had visited Brahmaputra Jungle Resort few days back. I took my ukulele (a musical instrument) along with me. Mistakenly I had forgot to took my ukulele back at home. Then immediately I call them, in a few minutes they found my ukulele under a table and on the next day, they send it to their Customer Service office located at Ganeshguri.Talking about the resort, its an amazing place for day out. Environment is beautifully maintained and executed.Food items are budget friendly and tasty too.

The place is a perfect get over for the workaholics, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.. Adds a thrill to your journey since you have to drive up a hill.. Would not recommend the food though

An awesome place for a short vacation or a change, with family or friend, with an amazing staff and faculty . The things for enjoyment are really good like the zip line and the pool. The rooms are also clean and the view from the balcony is mesmerizing . The service is really good. And no words for the foods, just delicious. The views, the area, everything is nice... But I have some suggestions for the benefit of your resort,can keep a map in front of reception area of the resort placing where the things are across the resort and u can improve the way to zip line... Other than i just loved being there and hoping to visit again ❣️💕❤

An Average experience.. Activities like Zip line and Rock climbing were good.. Room was not clean and below standard.. Food was poor quality.. Cleaniless was lacking in entire resort.. location on a hill was awesome.. approach road is not good in last part.. Needs serious effort for improvement.. Little Pricey for the overall experience..

We went for a family lunch time. Overall had a good lunch.There are pros and cons of the place.It is a good spacious area for a lot of people to have a good time, but upkeep is required. The parking space is quite small for such a large area. Maybe they should make the parking space bigger.The food was good and tasty. Will recommend this place to friends.Thanks

It was a fresh Saturday morning when we found our way to the Brahmaputra jungle resort. The clusters of bamboo trees and the scenic view from the hill was amazing and i felt at peace. Since it was an unplanned early morning visit, it was a delight and more so due to the weather. It was drizzling slightly and we were surrounded by the greenery and freshness in the air. There are a lot of activities and provision for lodging as well. Its a place worth visiting with your loved ones.

BJR is my second home, the hospitality and extra care from my Dada and his staff is just like experiencing Royalty!! The ambience is so tempting that my kids and close ones, just want to visit everytime

Good for doing various activities..Poor service and poor food quality.It takes 60 to 70 minutes of waiting time after ordering food. Moreover, the staff was unapologetic for the delay in service and quality of food was also poor. If possible avoid eating here and enjoy the fun activities.

The owner took a personal interest in our service. The food was good. The best day fry I have ever had anywhere in India.The kids enjoyed wandering around the wonderful place, riding the elephant, doing archery and riding the swings.

Only because of the location Im giving it a star otherwise poor management of staff, staffs are severely short-handed and it takes around 45-60 mins to get food on the table after the order and the food is not even worth the wait... Its really really bad... I recommend it only if youre going for site viewing and want to have some out door experience like boating, elephant riding, archery, etc.

Our stay at BJR was an excellent break. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the resort, the next best part was the fantastic food & excellent service at the BJR. The staff was very friendly, attentive & professional. There is elephant ride, fishing, trekking, zip line for kids & adults. Beautiful view of tea gardens & forest from the cottage balcony where I stayed. Not to forget, the owner is always with a smile. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

Ummm ... the experience was okay-eesh. Activities, views were good but once u order food they take so much time to bring it, that u want to get up and go. I mean it took atleast 15 mins for them to bring just coffee.

Just outside the city life, its a beautiful place surrounded with lush green forests and hills. The resort is excellently managed and the staff members are very professional and friendly. I often visit Brahmaputra Jungle resort to reconnect with nature and spend some quality time with friends and family.

Food portion is very good but taste is not up to the mark. Fish served is not fresh. Time taken to deliver the order is too much. Waiter should be trained to serve the food.

Time taken to deliver food to table is very very poor. Most of the items are not available except for wines and alcoholafter your res[onse. i would definitely give it another try. and update here again.

We went for a few hours in the morning. And it was so refreshing! The staff were courteous and helpful. Food was good. The short jungle trek was too good, and the guide, awesome. Fishing added the spice though the fish took the baits and still managed to escape. The clean swimming pool was the icing on the cake.

Nice Place to chill and relax ..and you have a swimming pool there too...the charge for the pool is 250 per person ..and u can probably swim more than 1 hour with that money. And the food is also at reasonable price.

If you want to take a short break from your chaotic busy life this is the perfect place to visit. Food is served at a reasonable price, various fun activities are provided (like boating, fishing, shooting, table tennis, swimming etc). Youll be able to Walk through the jungle, like literally a jungle (even the grasses were taller than me), if you visit in the morning. The rooms are beautiful and the prices are not very high. They are following the covid protocols properly, so you dont have to worry about that. The swimming pool is closed due to covid.

Pros: Good place for a weekend, they have alot of activities. Youll feel like being in the lap of nature. No plastic in the area.Rates: Swimming and Zip lining (250/- per person) rest are around 60 to 200rs range ( they force you to buy swimming costume from them)Cons: * We had to wait 1.5hrs for the food to arrive at our table.*Food is 3/5 (average)*They forced us to get swimming costumes when we bought clothes we always use for swimming at nehru park from our home.

I have mixed views for this resort... It has quite a few leisure activities to spice up the visit but they are too much compact... Had it been a little spacious and it have been wonders... Foor here is good only if youre ready to wait for more than usual time required to deliver your order (views based on a local holiday visit). But I must say the food is tasty (veg items).. I just think if they address to delivering the order in lesser time they would definitely be having an edge over the other resorts located there around...P.S: My views are based on a local holiday visit n can be considered also for Sundays...🙂

Had a splendid stay with my family in this place. raw natural ambience perfect for a getaway with your dear ones. food was also very tasty... some options were not available which was understandable given the corona situation all over and the resort was operating with only 25-30% of their total staff as due to the ban on inter-district movement in the state they havent been able to bring all of their employees back,(as informed by the manager Mr. Sunit), who was really helpful throughout the stay. Even then we had a good experience throughout and indulged in the activities on offer. notably the zipline was a good one and the kids enjoyed the toy train and water roller! will definitely come back again soon! good luck

Nice landscape with plain n hillock surface having 100% greenery. Total pollution free n nice environment to enjoy in holidays. This time food quality is so so, it may be due to the shortage of staff for partial Lockdown.

Nice place. Bad rooms- intercom not working in both the 2 rooms that we had taken. Service Pathetic as rooms are far off from kitchen. Food gets cold before it reaches the room and takes more than half an hr even for a cup of tea.But service people are very polite and helpful.

Brahmaputra Jungle Resort is one of the nice weekend getaway options for folks in Guwahati or visiting North East. They provide cottages for homestay along with various activities like boat ride, elephant ride, trekking, kids zone, swimming etc. Food can be improved upon. Its on uphill and got parking space.

Nice Resort, having too many activities for kids as well as youngsters.. They have Executive cottage wherein Swimming, boating, shooting, Arching, Angling, Free breakfast, Wi-fi etc.is included.One day is sufficient to do all the activities. They also have Elephant Safari, Zip Line Ride, Trecking, 3D games etc.Staff is very polite and gave good hospitality. They just need to work on thr food menu as they have very limited menu for food n snacks.

Worst experience ever. They made sure we never visit again. Poor service, orders take too long and the behavior of stuff is poor. They walk around with wakie talkies but cant provide the mood on time, a simple cup of tea took two hours to arrive. Very very unproffessional behavior. I suggest to visit other resort.
