Food is good....but they charge over the top.

If you are a Bengali, you will love it. But for else, its normal restaurant food. But prices are quite less so it gets normalised.

Cheap and good Bengali food. Lau chingri was too good and also aloo posto which we had ordered. Also mishti doi.

Excellent food, warm and delicious. I found the rate also very reasonable. However, the Wash room needs improvement, as of now it does not befit the restaurant’s standard. The entrance has footmats which give a dull appearance- need a change.I recommend the restaurant to everyone who loves Bengali cuisine

Wished that the hospitality of the members would have been more better as they are in the service industry. The rice was served cold to us but came up later with a oven heated one when we rejected the cold one. The chicken and mutton items were up to the mark. Most importantly they didnt have every item that was mentioned in the menu. They need a strict change in their menu booklet!

Good food. Hot and spicy Bengali food with good waiter service. Takes some time to get your order but when its come its always nice. One can ask for low spicy food also as waiters and cooks know the job.

Whenever I had visit brand factory Guwahati I have my lunch from here only. It is well known for authentic bengali cuisine. Sometimes it is a bit difficult for a person to find this place because it is located on 2nd floor i guess and pathway to this place is not very convenient. From inside this place has ample space. All the items mentioned in menu is not available, I had ordered chola dal which i didnt get so I have to go for moong dal. But you will get most out of the menu. Their serving size is good , i was not able to finish single plate of paneer matar.

Had dinner with family. Taste of food served was below average. Mutton was kinda stale. Didnt found the restaurant as a hygienic one.

The food was awesome..but at the end when I was about to leave, I saw a small mouse sitting on the bowls which were kept for serving the food and then it ran into the kitchen area.I think atleast hygiene should be maintained

The food is okay. Not typical Bengali food. Its more like Bengali food with a spicy touch. Choose your fish carefully some may smell especially katla. The interiors are good and attractive.

Family dinner on 17.10.2018. Very bad experience. First of all they were serving food in Thermocol plates and bowls. I asked for standard plate, which they provided as we absolutely avoid disposable plastics. They got an extra star for the plates from me. Secondly, the food was served cold. Thirdly, service was below average. When I said the food was served cold the service boy smiled! Some diners next table got some hot food to our surprise!!. However, though cold served, the egg plant dish was very testy, may be it was better eat cold!. This was my second visit since they opened and would be my last visit.

I was very hungry after shopping in Guwhati and the tea leaves merchant, a bengali recommended this hotel to me, saying the best hotel there with tasty food. OMG! As you enter the entrance itself, the stale food smell greets you. In the restaurant, untidy dirty tables and chairs with food stains all over. I ran away from there not even bothering to check the menu as I dont want getting admitted in hospital due to food poisoning in an alien place.

One of the best restaurant in Guwahati serving Bengali dishes. The basic veg thali contains rice, dal, shukto, chatni and another sabji depending on availability (alu posto, mocha etc.) Apart from these one can take dishes like echor, lau chingri etc. They have quite varieties of fishes available in their menu e.g. vetki, pabda, iilish, chingri etc. Chicken and mutton items are also available. The ambience of the place is pretty good. The price of the items are acceptable. Overall it was a good experience.
