Overall good….Spically Hydrabadi Chicken Dum Biryani is my favourite and flavourful.

Pretty good food. Decent prices. Although, the wallpaper in a few spots is quite torn off.

It also has now a new name Hyderabadi at new location opposite ion tower.New place with same items and ample space.

We had chicken biryani, butter paneer Masada and butter nun. Chicken biryani was good, paneer was OK and in the name of butter nun they gave us tandoori roti with refined oil on top of it. No smell or flavour of butter. If you really want to go there try their chicken biryani or the dishes which are recommended to you by your friends. Dont take risks on other things. AMBIENCE was gud, waitress was warm and food 🤢 gave a bill of 840 rs for these three items and a bottle of water.

Visited this place for the second time. Food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. Good hospitality. AC section available.

Good place for tourists quick refreshments. Dosa, Biryani, Roti & Non Veg items are good to eat.

Better than Manikanta hotel which is nearby. A good restaurant for air travellers going via Guwahati who has some time between flights in Guwahati.

Nice restaurant but i dont like the yogurt used in the aluu tikki chat dish. Otherwise the food taste is great thumps up for it and the surrounding is hygiene too. Clean and neat place. Its useful for birthday party and other get together stuff. Nice staff and co-operate nicely.

The food at hotel kamakhya grand is very nice and service is also goid and fast. The place is clean and airey. The hotel is easitly visible from the road this hotel is very near to vip chowk connecting airport . Best place to eat north indian food....its tasty and affordable food....definitely recommend near airport best restaurant...for food lover.

I tried Butter chicken it was good (soft and less spicy). Service was fast. I was there around 6:30 pm at that time there was very less crowd. Place was clean. Rice was served in broken bowl which was changed after my request.

The food is one of the worst. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken 65. The fried had pieces of egg shells and the chicken 65 was so salty that I felt my bp reaching sky high after my first bite, when I complaint regarding the same, the waiter took the order in and added more water to it and brought back the same thing again. That too they changed me 390 for the horrible meal

The food is okay but quantity is less + I like their masala tikka but whenever I go their 8 out of 10 times it isnt available in evening or afternoon time which is peak time.

Imagine ordering something for takeaway and getting something else when u open the food packet at home ... And thats what exactly happened at Kamakhya Grand Restaurant (VIP Rd , Near LGBI Airport Guwahati) It speaks very bad on service quality ... Truly disappointed ... Hope they improve

Nice place to have a good evening spent.Wide range of dishes and flavours.One stop destination for South Indian flavours, be it be Dosa, Idli or Biryani.This is one place in Guwahati or infact in whole North East India for authentic Hyderabad dum biriyani.They do offer panipuri, chole baturey and other north indian dishes.

Chicken tandoori is best item in hotel.

Only outer shine and glitter, no quality. Every time I go to have at least a better experience than the last But it does not fails in disappointing me again and again. Once had live ants in the rice, got it changed, Second visit it was a hair and today bunch of long hairs served with Chicken Butter Masala.

Awful n stinking place. The AC section is slightly better. The waiters use the AC section as their common room.chatting away to glory ,though helpful. The dishes we wanted were not available so had to eat whatever was there .I was very surprised when the waiter informed us that raita couldnt be served as there was no curd!!🙄(peak summer n no curd!☹️) The food was good 👌 thankfully 🙏. Hadnt it been for the heat outside I would have definitely walked out!

The food was great, service not very much, ordered non spicy chicken fried rice for the kids and it was so spicy the kids would not eat, we tried to send it back by asking the waiter to make non spicy, but he would not even budge.. Despite knowing it was his mistake...

No affection towards customer

Though there is a menu, you are mostly served with fixed combinations, like chicken butter masala and Naan. If you ask for any other items of the menu provided, rarely they can serve you that item. For example soups. I have visited them several times, all time I tried to order soup, but they replied its unavailable. Otherwise the food provided is good and tasty.

Excellent Hyderabadi Biryani in Guwahati tastes the same like Hyderabadi Biryani

Plz avoid this hotel. would have given zero stars if possible.We ordered for chicken biryani, order was delivered in 30 mins and it was ice cold. They served the old stored biryani straight from the fridge to the customer. When complained about it, they told us to eat something else.Very un professional and arrogant staff.

It is a small restaurant, but busy. Waiters are mostly girls, active. Food is average, most of the item you may not get (veg fried rice, veg jalfarezi etc). Price is cheaper, cleanliness is appreciable. Both veg and non-veg served.

The food is perfect here as compared to other restaurants near the Airport. I have tried chinese and most of the non-veg food here and they are alright. Cant say much about others.Wait time is 15mins(on average).

The prices are too high, the maintenance is too bad. We ordered a plate of biryani, it tasted yuck! A plate of biryani was filled with nothing except chillies, i was gasping for breath, it was so damn spicy and they dnt have the politeness to even answer properly when we seek for a change , the staffs are extremely ignorant and the place is too noisyNot at all good...

Been there a few times. Apart from normal restaurant menu they also have a chaat house. They have both AC and Non- AC sitting area. Quality and quantity wise they are good.

Prices are bit too high.Food quality is overall good as compared to other restaurants in that area.

Go n learn how to make tandoori from ur nearby aquafest..Stop fooling customers by giving them boiled chicken sprinkled with mirch powder.. dats not tandoori

Not a place for north indians.1. Dal makhni was not very viscous, and rather tasteless. On top of that, they charge around 200 rupees for a small quantity (about 2 katori).2. Butter chicken has very little quantity of chicken in it and there were many bones with little meat around. However, they did replace this with kadhai chicken after we complained.3. We also ordered a paneer dish. I do not really remember the name — kadhai paneer I guess. It had very little paneer in it.4. They charge extra for water bottles.
