Probably the one place where you can have fine dining. The food is authentic Assamese cuisine and unlike some restaurants who only focus on ambience, this place takes their taste very seriously. The tenga fish was top pick and the smoked chicken is definitely one of the best that is available in town
Amazing delicious Traditional Assamese food. Menu is great. Quite affordable. 💝Great food and service, would highly recommend...This place is also got a daily needs departmental store parallely.Shopping measures really easier.Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly. Gonna visit this dhaba again ❤️❤️Really loved this by my family
I visited this restaurant today and I must say I am very discontented. The place has changed a lot and the food is not very delightful like it used to be. The rates are high as hell. And as per the rates, the quality of food is very low. I didnt expect it to be that bad. It was a good place when I visited it last time. Moreover, the staffs are ignorant. Very disappointed.
Very much good place for Assamese traditional food. Serving staff also good. Nearby shopping place also good.
Very delicious.. best Assamese food in Guwahati. Must visit.
Was not upto the mark. What we had before was better. Please look into 🙏
One of the best place for enjoying Assamese food. Near ISBT on the National Highway. Lunchtime is always crowed so go early or have to wait a little...Dinner is also normally crowded but due to Covid19 its different. Clean place with about 15 car parking space. A departmental store also there. Good for travellers. City people too go there for a change from home food.
This was some of the best food Ive tasted! Savoury and comforting, the food is the main attraction, as it should be in a restaurant. The interiors are lively, decors give an ethnic vibe and the place is spacious. Overall, a great place for family gatherings. The price is on the higher side so be prepared for that.
Very good experience. Awesome and authentic Local Food. Plus the conjoined shopping mall is an added attraction. Shop your grocery needs and follow up with a sumptuous lunch or dinner.
Its great, amazing; prices are high but its worth it😍🤗
Food was damn tasty and even the store is a good place to shop around.. Kindly just maintain the ladies washroom as well.
I had a very bad experience. The food served was half cooked. Value for money is 1 out of 5 stars. Taste 1 out of 5. Service 2 out of 5. They messed up the authentic recipes we have. Terrible!
Should closed immediately. Yesterday se had a lunch with zero taste food. I recommend you to closed restaurant or improve your performance substantially.
Ambience is good, food quality could be better. Price is a bit higher as compared to other restaurants. Overall Good restaurant for traditional Assamese cuisine.
Nice place to have thali. Please avoid kheer(which is more like gakhir bhat)
Had a traditional Assamese veg lunch here. Good ambience and neat n clean
Cost is a bit high ....otherwise everything is nice...Food was delicious .
Very horrible experience first of all every item is over price they served biryani without chicken means hardly 50g chicken in the biryani price 380and served without raita but previously the restaurant was not bad I dont know why they became so money minded please dont play with customers
Very bed high price bt no quality waste of monet.. Come to mangaldai and see and feel wht is restaurant kharkhuwa NRL.. And also Waiters are very disgusting
Resturent is good but their food no so tasty and delicious
Worst service. Very unwelcoming and bad attitude of the waiters. Had to come out of the restaurant after 5mins of experience. They will treat you like they are offering free food. Many good places to choose from nearby. Do not visit
Enough parking space. Away from the hustle of the city but not too far also. Very spacious place. Interior is bamboo based, gives a different ambience from other restaurants. Staff is okay. Flavour is okay. Well known for assamese cuisine. Price is slightly on the higher side.
This is my all time favorite place. Whenever I get a chance I cant skip it. Delicious ethnic foods nicely served. All hygiene related issues excellent and the ambience awesome.
Nothing great about it. Quality and taste has taken a slump since couple of years.
One of the best places to eat traditional assamese foods and hangout place..
The quality of food has decreased. Customer service is also not good.
Huge restaurant that serves mainly the ethnic local cuisine of Assam. Dishes that reflects the local style of cooking. Boiled to roasted it offers a wide range of choices with excellent staff who serves with a heart touching smile. The ambience is quite grasping and reflects local handicrafts. But to the contrary prices are quite different. Being a AC restaurant may be they set it high for meeting expenses, but it has to be noted this is not for budget friendly and regular commuters. For eg A single plate of veg dish may cost you up to Rs. 200 INR.
Good service at reasonable price.
Worst restaurant in entire Guwahati, Tasteless food + Overpriced+Quantity is less+poor staff behaviour.
Worst experience, duck fry was half fried, after I told to the waiter, but no responseNumber of item in thali was less, lentils are overcooked, no Assamese flavor
Wanted to taste authentic cousine of Assam and we reached the right place. The place is so spacious and big with bamboo and cane themed. Awesome Assam thali was served to us on heavy brass plates. We ordered fish thali. There is pork thali and chicken thali too. We ordered another pork dish along with that, which was awesome too. For topping up our delight an awesome milk kheer also got served as sweet dessert.
Delicious food and very clean place...
Worst service ever.. we visited today for a birthday celebration.. no enthusiasm from staff, the environment was bad.. for their poor service we had to get out of there to visit another nearby restaurant for celebrating the birthday.. ive visited the restaurant many times before, it used to be good.. but now their service is pathetic.. even the space has been narrowed down and a supermarket has been established.. and the behaviour of the staff is unwelcoming too.. so visit at your own risk
Too much expensive. Well if you have extra money to spend this is a good option. Otherwise middle class people you have much better option in less price.
This is the best pork barbeque I ever had. Fantastic is the word. Keep up the good job.
Good food , environment and set-up
Awesome food clean beautiful interior design
My family loves to have food here
Veg thali was ok... they really can exclude mix veg item from the thali and replace with papad otherwise it’s a waste of the item..Fish curry was disgusting..fish quality and quantity was fine but curry base was prepared very poorly..Fish fry wasn’t up to the mark..
If you hv heard earned money dont go to these type of restaurants. Sitting arrangement not good and also staffs are not welcoming at all. Missing kitchen is far more good option.
Food quality very better but food serve very late .
Food is good. Service is not up to the mark.
Incredible food. The place is super clean. Excellent service. Its a very nice place. I recommend everyone to go ☺️☺️.
Was expecting a lot from this one. But alas, food is not worth the price at all. The menu is costly. The normal Veg Thali costs ₹190. Add fish to it and you pay ₹430 and chicken thali comes @₹530. The ambience is nice and staffs operate in a ready manner. But seriously not worth the price. One can get that kinda thali at a quite lower price than theirs.
Good Ambient, good presentation. We ordered 2 Chicken Thai & 1 Pork thali, total.bill was around 1.4k. but didnt worth paying that much. Other than the curry & the smoked chicken & pork everything else lacked flavour & seasoning. Rice was too soft. Expections were high but went nose dive once I tasted the Alu Pitika.
Authentic Assamese food and tastes better
Really disappointed. The food was cold and service abysmal. Even taste was below average. Really not worth the price. I would rather recommended Michinga, great food, atmosphere and much less expensive than Gams Delicacy.
Nice place to have a happy meal with your family.
Decent food, decent environment ...if you are looking for a restaurant with good food, home like lunch... delicacy is for you
Earlier this used to be one of the best eating place but now after construction of Gams Supermarket enclosing the enlarged dinning hall of the restaurant, this place became very congested and most importantly catering service standard is very low and you need to sit for atleast 15-30min for comming of an waiter and note your order.
Exquisite ethnic cuisine available in platters or individual portions. If you want to taste Assams local cuisine at one place for a family lunch or a casual dining experience...GAMs is the right place!
Awesome authentic assamese food. Highly recommendable. High value for money.
Worst experience ever. Today i ordered a chicken thali n to my surprise one of the chicken item was old n rotten n smell like hell. Never expect such a rubbish thing from such a genuine restuarant. Very disappointed. Dont serve this type of food to the customers. N also the price of all the items are too costly . Will never visit this place again.
Plz dont visit . It has became the worst restuarant. Visit the nearby dhaba
It is situated in Betkuchi area of Guwahati which is near to ISBT.Guwahati and Infront of Maniram Dewan Trade Centre.
Good food, good ambience, good staff. Assamese Ekhaj thali is recommended here.
Food served was cold..... service was ok...needs to improve!!! Will lose valuable customers.
Time taking but very nice food
Best place to discover Assamese cuisine.Other cuisene are also available
Ethnic food is good but other items are not so good and are also overpriced. I myself ordered chicken items they were average but overpriced. They dont serve half a plate which makes difficulty for two person or one person.
This place never disappoints when it comes to enjoying ethnic food. My go to place when I crave for Assamese or Bengali cuisine.
Good food but little bit expensive. Assamese thali has still got its charm.. starting from the ginger soup and ending with kheer.
