Went to newly opened Arsalan NE Restaurant and was amazed with the ambience, service and food... Kolkatas renowned Arsalan Biryani opened its door for the first time in Northeast... Bringing up the authentic Kolkata Biryani and Kababs over here...Coming over to the food... Tried two different Kababs... Kalmi kabab and Arsalan Special Kabab.... Taking the first bite I was mesmerized with the taste... Didnt tasted anything like this before... too good... The Kababs are to die for😍😍 The marination is too good... can feel the punch of the spices 😍 A must try..!!!And also tried the Arsalan Mutton Biryani and Arsalan Chicken Biryani... But according to me.. The Mutton Biryani is too good... Tender mutton pieces with awesome secret spieces as told by the chef... The Biryani rice was too good... flavoursome and tasty... every bite made me fall in love with the biryani again and again...Phirni was too good... The sweetness of yhe the phirni was upto the marks with added dry fruits😍😍Do try... The Chef is from the main Arsalan Kolkata!!!!

Arsalan restaurant is an upscale restaurant themed around indian and mughlai delicacies. It is situated in ganeshguri near the aprilia showroom opposite central secretariat. Getting here is easy as it is on the busy gs road (almost everything in guwahati is😂). Parking facilities are limited but still well managed. When i was here it was partially under renovation which was quite a nuisance. Ordered the kababs which are out of this world and comparable to delicacies of karims etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen is on the other side of a see through glass. The biriyani although not amazing but still palatable. Definitely go for the kababs

Very good option for Guwahatians though I believe it has no relation with original Arsalan, Kolkata. Quality of food overall is good, ambience is excellent if all the tables are not full (feels like they put one table set extra making the space little crowded), service is ok. Liked their Hyderabadi Biryani, Kakori Kebab is ok (not tender as the fame of the name), dhaniya chicken is tasty. It feels like waiters are dressed better than their service. Dhaniya chicken was too salty so asked them to replace it. They returned it within a minute probably diluted with some water or curd. Didnt bother to fill the plate inspite of seeing that guests hadnt eat the portion on their plate. Overall good taste but over priced for a place like Guwahati. They have raised the standard of prices like metro cities but not the customer centric services provided out there.

Food is tasty but quite a bit expensive than other restaurants in the same domain. This is a chain i know, i have visited Arslan in Kolkata they make amazing mughlai food.

The place is good. Clean and well arranged. Staff is polite, and well behaved. The ambience is nice. We ordered Arsalan special Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Tikka Kebabs. They were awesome. The Kebabs literally melted in the mouth. It was delicious. The Biriyani was average. Overall I would like to visit again.

I have ordered 1 plate chicken biriyani and the found the piece of the potato is totally not edible. Please opt for some local cuisine like khorika, Ordab, khorika, Missing Kitchen etc, and for some biryani, kebabs and all u can choose foodexx, Or if u want to spent more u can visit Motimahal. The mutton biriyani was very good. Also their kebabs are very well made and you actually get the aroma of the charcoal. The desserts are good too.I highly recommend this place.

Biryani Quality is good but I cannot say very good like Kolkata,Arsalan.But I recommend anyone should visit once as the taste and likes varies person to person.

The restaurant has a soft lighting, peaceful music and a very relaxed ambience.The Dhania chicken was something new for us in the Menu card and ordered it. It was such a premium dish that it ruled our appetite (specially my children).The malpuas are the best with crispy edges and soft at the center,dunked in sugar syrup which melts in your mouth. You cant stop at one that is confirmed.

Roti and tandoori items are delicious, but the chicken biriyani is not up to the mark.they should take care about this. Staffs are really good and very polite. Price is on quite higher side.

Seriously?? This is a loot restaurant... I thought this restaurant was an orginal branch of kolkata, which should taste marvellous. But my expectations were doomed when I ordered special arsalan chicken biryani which cost me rs. 399..so approx rs.400..why? Because they have provide us ordinary biyani bowl with small two pieces of chicken and potaetoes and an egg,( which they said it serves for two,means half price rs200) which you would get in foodex way better and with more quantity(half plate,rs.150). Arsalan quantity was so less if you compared with the foodex half plate biryani. Moreover, both restaurant biryani taste was no different.We were so annoyed with this serving, we called the waitress who took our order and asked her that whats the difference between the ordinary chicken biryani n the arsalan special chicken biryani. She got scared. Even she knows theyre fooling people and earning more money from the fame of the restaurant in kolkata and the answer she gave me was hilarious. She said that in special, we provide you with that curry( two spoons of curry) and it is cooked in dum..I mean what the hell.she doesnt even know the difference. She was thinking for so many times what to saySo ill summarize now that this is a fake arsalan that has opened in Assam to loot people.it has nothing such taste like that in kolkata not a single percent. Theyre just selling ordinary biryani with high price and fooing people.

I had fallen for this restaurant thinking of it to be a branch of Kolkatas Arsalan. But believe me its no different than any other similar restaurant in the city. You could have similar food for lower price at say FoodExx.

Firstly I would like to mention that the waiter was persuading us into ordering something that we didnt wanted.I had kakori Kebabs for starters and it was good.However for mains I ordered the Lucknavi Biryani but I was served Kolkata Biryani, and when I politely asked the waiter whether my food might have been misplaced he started lecturing about how that it was lucknavi biryani and how they cooks it in a different style. Then why do even named it Lucknavi biryani and not something. I know my Biryani thoroughly. The price they are charging for the food is not up to the service and ambiance they are providing.

Worst experience.. ordered Achari murg and regretted it was so salty, made us feel that the chef might have had a bad day though he had courtesy to get back to us..on top of that one of the staff agreed to replace on his own but later refused abusing and hurling unwanted things...please teach some hospitality sense to your female staff Dimpi or whatsoever her name is although the item wasnt charged, all we wanted is good food and experience...please remember word of mouth is a very powerful tool in a hotel industry...All the best :)

Arsalan conjures up images of succulent kababs and lip smacking biryanis and Arsalan NE is definitely living up to the expectations . Their kababs are juicy and melt in the mouth . Dal is excellent . Biryani though a bit too spicy is good and portions are more then enough for two. Good place for families and friends . Keep it up 👍

A very pathetic experience in Arsalan restraunt , Guwahati. After a long wait we were served kebab and biryani with HAIR . On top of dat nobody responded to our complaint. Neither the staff nor the chef. Feeling insulted and neglected we got up from our table and went to the so called MD of the restraunt so that certain level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained with food and service. To our utter despair the LADY IN CHARGE kept sitting there with folded hands and replied that its upto our chef to manage things and not us.... Seriously guys a big SHAME to the ARSALAN GUWAHATI TEAM..

Well, first of all I guess this restaurant is not even remotely connected to Arsalan Kolkata. Maybe they just ripped off the name. And if its authentic Arsalan, then it doesnt come close to the Kolkata one. The biryani was below average. Moreover the menu states you get a special salad and gravy with the biryani but on being asked they first refused. Later they did give a bowl of gravy but it was so salty we could hardly eat even a little bit. The salad never arrived. The firni was neither cold nor set. You get far better biryani in Mughal Garden for less than half that price. Its true for the other items as well. The service was pathetic and didnt even serve us our food even after being requested. Not once did they ask us for water. Its a cramped space and the ACs drip water and where theres no AC, its hot and uncomfortable. The washrooms are dirty and in pathetic condition. Id never visit it again. Id rather order from Foodexx for half the price and eat at the comfort of my home, thank you very much.

Absolutely authentic and classical Arsalan NE special mutton/chicken biryani prepared in copper handi that gives a lively Dumtaste.Difficult to finish one portion amongst 2 medium eaters.Excellent juicy kebabs with perfect blending of spices & fresh ingredients.The ambiance, food,aromas and lovely staff make it a genuine experience inspite of heavy rush.

Visited this place last Saturday night. Very clean and beautiful ambience. Especially one should try the Maharaja Family table; felt like a king. Food is too good, especially the Haryali Chicken, Biryani and Firni. Comparable to the biryani served at Arsalan Kolkata. Negative of the restaurant is that it is very difficult to get a table booking unless you call up early, especially during Saturdays and Sundays.

Finally the famous Arsalan of Kolkata came down to Guwahati. the biriyani and kebabs are very well made and sumptuous. the quantity and quality both are proportionate. from the dessert menu my favourite was their Phirni.very thick and creamy texture.guys! do visit this place.you wont be disappointed.

Came across this new restaurant on my trip to Guwahati.Visited quite a few fine dine places in that area but this was BY FAR THE BEST!If you are a biriyani fan, this is the place to go in Guwahati. The interiors are mesmerising and the staff very well trained and polite.My family and I decided to give the mutton Biryani a try and the scent itself made our mouth water. We also ordered chicken kebabs as sides and they were top notch!Apparently, the recipe itself is a trademark with the cooks specially brought in from Kolkata. Every section of the menu has specialized team of cook who prepare it with extreme attention to each spice that goes into the blend.All in all it was an amazing experience and will definitely be revisiting every time I am in town!

One of the finest biryani ever tried in this place. The place is quite decent, with great hospitality. The kebabs are flawless. Mutton biryani is one of my favourite amongst. The dessert i.e the phirni is delicious. The quantity offered is quite satisfying. Will visit again.

I am a regular at Kolkata Arsalan. Happened to visit Guwahati and tried the Arsalan NE. Beautiful and royal ambience inside. Food is at par with Arsalans@ kolkata if not better. I was expecting some NE flavor to the chicken biryani served there like hot chilli biryani . Overall beautiful experience. The Manager is a nice gentleman and offered us the best table.

On 7th Sep Me and one of my friend has gone to order Biryani.The interior is not at all matching with Kolkata’s Arsalan but still its good.The restaurant was empty just a few ladies who were most probably came for a birthday celebration.We ordered Two biryanis.The price is 399/- PLUS GST per plate for Chicken and 499/-Plus Gst for Mutton Biryani.But the taste is hell and heaven difference from Kolkata’s Arsalan.If this type of trend continues then they have to shut their doors bcoz there are lots of better Biryani’s available in Guwahati with a lesser price.Secondly they are charging chicken Tikka of 6 piece Rs 419/- which is very high. So i would suggest better you think twice before Visiting Arsalan Guwahati.

Worst Biriyani Ever. I have been to Arsalan Kolkata many times and with that expectation went to Arsalan Giwahati but I was shocked with the rates they have put in in the Menu and despite of that I have ordered. But unfortunately the taste and Quality of the Biriyani is worst than the Footpath Biriyani which comes in 50 Rupees per plate. Really disgusting.Well for Arsalan Management - We go there to have Biriyani, not to see fine legs....Well we would appriciate if You can provide us fine legs in Biriyani.Worst.....

The biriyani was tasteless,no flavor,no aroma and highly overpriced.chicken biriyani is ,rs 500 which is worthless.the behavior of the staff were also wierd..she was busy snatching the plates before finishing the food as if she was in hurry.
