The Peacock TempleVery calming place and also the Best place to see wild boars and peacocks. The temple has a lot of peacocks , they specifically come in the morning. Sunrise views from this temple is amazing. The Baba is very kind and unlike the other babas he is not after your money and is willing to have a conversation. If you are looking to spend time with nature , self reflection without being disturbed this place is the best place to be. The temple is not very visible from the Main highway. It is tucked inside and approach roads are not completely paved. Temple has parking and there is parking outside. There are views of golf course road apartments from here.The temple has a Diary Farm with cows and calves. If you are looking for photo opportunities of nature and city all at once this place meets that.

Nice temple at nice place in Gurgaon small hill

With great reverence I would like to recommend Kholi Wale Baba ka Mandir. This a temple situated in the Aravalis. The temple compound is nestled on the top of the hill as you go take a road going uphill, it is a beautiful journey driving or walking amidst all the greenery. Finding magnificent peacocks and peahens could be the icing on the cake as this place full of these majestic birds. Upon entering the temple complex on the left is a Gau Shala, abode for holy cows.There are several small temples in the complex including Maa Durgas, Lord Hanumans, Radha- Krishnas, Lord Shivas and Lord Ganeshas temples. The temples are situated here and there at different heights giving the feel of hills. During Shivratri the temple turns into a very festive place with most of the Suncity residents and people coming from all across visit the temple to extend their offerings to Lord Shiva. For Kholi wale Baba ka Mandir, you have to move down stairs and you see the divine presence of Kholi wale Baba amidst the rocks. There are families in Haryana who begin anything auspicious only after taking blessings From Kholi wale Baba. People lighting an earthen lamp for Kholi wale Baba is a common sight. As you go further, downstairs, there is Maa Durga in a small cave. Grown ups and kids both enjoy to be at this place as it turns up to be a divine visit that is exciting at the same time. One could always visit the temple and later go ahead on the same road to enjoy a small picnic by having a snack on the road side as you enjoy looking at the peacocks.

Its a shelter for cows and a temple along side. The place is run by an NGO, who appreciate any volunteering activity any time. Certainly endorse helping these people out with extra hands with the good work theyre doing.

This place is 15 minutes walking distance from my second home, Suncity, Sector 54. Most of the People come here are morning walkers. One can enjoy beautiful nature and wild life. Peacocks are the main attraction, they are all around the temple, lord Shivas temple from where you can see a beautiful rocky slope and peacocks all over it. Try to visit this place In morning time when peacocks comes out with their chiks.

This is one of the most famous temple in this area. It is maintained by people of Village Wazirabad since more than 150 years. In the aravalis, this is a beautiful place to worship or visit on any special occasion. On festivals like Diwali and Holi, a small mela is also organised in here.

The mandir is in Gurgaon Faridabad road.You can go there from Suncity, behind Shri Ram School and keep going uphill.Its a Quiet place on top of a little hill if I can call it that😅. Its surrounded by trees and you constantly hear peacock making noises😊 and will definitely spot one or two of themMy friend and I were surprisingly guided by a stray dog from the mandir till the Kund and back..Good place to hang out with family and kids.They also do bhandaras

Baba Mohan Dass existed 450-500 years ago, some consider him to be incarnation of Maha Avtar Babaji. Temple complex was in simple primitive stage in 2003 when I first visited it after occupying Suncity house. It is an abode for 50-60 peacocks. Monsoon period create a stream between last tapering range of Aravali. Presently its fully commercial complex with many temples added, with covered stairs leading to cave of Kholi Wale Baba. Serene & peaceful place among affluent, semi-US Gurgaon!
