I have been a patient of Dr. Praveen Gupta since the last couple of years (although I have been off regular medication since almost two years now) and can say without doubt that its very hard to come across such a combination of expertise, knowledge and empathy. I went to see him for a nagging nerve pain issue (which I did not completely understand at that time and had my share of wrong diagnosis before I went to him). By just asking a couple of questions Dr. Gupta explained to me that I had a condition called Neuralgia. Since the condition could not be detected via a test or a scan, he never made me undergo any. He gradually started me on meds and similarly took me off. Understanding that my condition was mainly due to mental stress, he went beyond just prescribing meds but actually patiently tried to hear and understand what was causing me to stress out and share tips on how he felt I could manage it. His approach was always empathetic and never preachy. During the course of the treatment, he always made me feel that we are working together to help me manage my pain and become medicine free - without once promising to cure me since this condition never really goes away. His spot on diagnosis and apt treatment, calm temperament and collaborative approach really helped me trust him and gradually move to a point where I could completely get off my meds. And while I have not been on any regular medication for almost two years now, I still do not hesitate to reach out to him in case of any health concerns. In spite of being in non-stop consults he always responds back and is always extremely polite and courteous. It is truly rare to come across such doctors and I feel extremely lucky that I went to see Dr. Praveen Gupta at the right time.

Nothing but Huge Disappointment. Personally would never recommend any one to go to him for any medical advice. Patient are mere case number for him. He has no empathy nor desire to understand and do detail diagnostic on patient. I demand to know what is the definition of Best here? Not respecting patients pain,collecting premium fees, long waiting hours while patient hold high hope that doctor is magically going to remove all suffering. Thats worst not best.We carried medical treatment under him for 2 years and we where prescribed anti depressants for headache. We trusted him for two years hoping that we deserve when we pay, trust and dedicate our time to him. What we get in return is sub-par diagnosis, no root cause detection. Till we take medicine we are ok, but the day we skip medicine the pain is back. We suffered for two years, and finally decided to go to another doctor. The other doctor diagnosed and recommended to stop anti depressants immediately.As a doctor, they should primarily focus on patient concern, provide accurate diagnosis and explain what he is trying with patients. Dont use them to earn money or dont prescribe them if you are incapable to cater to their needs or if you dont have time or patience. So, improve not for yourself but for people who hold hope when they walk into your office.

After my whole family getting COVID, my mom got a brain stroke in early May. this impacted her speech and right hand, we immediately took her to a hospital closeby but due to peak second wave there were no beds. And we were not even sure that even if we got a bed would we get a good neuro. Hi I am from Nepal. When I was in Nepal I was admitted in KMC hospital the doctors here in KMC could not diagnosis what my illness was after checking the MRI report I was admitted in ICU for a few days but instead of getting better my condition was getting worse day by day. After few days of getting admitted in ICU I could not not move or do anything with my left hand and leg. One of my family member recommended that I should go to Delhi and referred me to go to Fortis hospital and meet Dr Praveen. My family then decided take me to Delhi. Since we had no contact with fortis hospital and Dr Praveen one of my family member had given me contact of mr Mohit who was a friend of my cousin and who was also in contact with fortis hospital and dr praveen gupta.. We got in touch with Mr Mohit who helped me with doctors appointment and ambulance pickup from airport to the hospital. After reaching the hospital it was almost late night but dr Praveen visited me at emergency on request. Doctor decided to do MRI test after which he diagnosed that I had stroke and vasculitis after which the doctor started treatment and I was kept in ICU forfew days.after treatment for few days in ICU,Slowly I started recovering and was moved to cabin. The condition that I reached Fortis before meeting doctor Gupta treatment few days in ICU I was able to lift my left leg and feet and my left hand after moving me to cabin the doctor started physiotherapy I was already feeling that I would get better soon. My family was surprised to see me lift my left leg feet and my left hand after treatment in Fortis Hospital with Dr Gupta. Few days after I started physiotherapy when I was able to walk slowly I have some problem with my vision after which I went to visit eyeye specialist doctor shibal. When I got my eyes checked with doctor Sibal the doctor told me that I had almost lost my vision but when doctor Gupta started treating me in ICU he had also given me medicine for my eyes because of his previous experience that stroke and vasculitis could also have affected my vision.dr saibal also thanked dr Praveen Gupta for prescribing me with eyes medication which saved my vision. now i am back to kathmandu and continuing my medication from dr gupta.now i visit dr praveen gupta at fortis for follow check up every 3 or 6 months.i think my review is becoming too long.lastly i would like to say that doctor praveen gupta is my life saver and the best doctor.many thanks to dr praveen gupta, dr shibal and last but not the least mr. mohit who has always been there to help me on my every visit and managing the medicines and stay.

I would like to share my experience with dr.Praveen Gupta at FMRI, Gurgaon. My in laws aged 78 & 77 years residing in Rohtak tested covid positive on 9th may 2021. Both had significant co-morbidities apart from their advanced age. Thankfully, both being doctors themselves ( ex prof & HOD in dept. of Orthopedics & OB/ GYN , PGIMS, Rohtak ), they had received both doses of the vaccine. My mother in law developed high grade fever, severe body aches & shortness of breath on day 3 of her illness. Her inflammatory markers were significantly elevated . We immediately contacted Dr.Praveen Gupta in FMRI as he is their primary physician & they have deep faith in his capabilities. Dr. Gupta immediately personally arranged admission in FMRI somehow & we shifted her from Rohtak to FMRI. Despite himself having just recovered from covid barely a week back & still having residual post covid weakness, Dr. Gupta was back on duty 24 x 7 in FMRI. When we arrived at FMRI, he was there waiting at the Covid ER. The mere sight of his calm & reassuring demeanour cured us of our extreme anxiety & we knew that she was in safe hands now. Dr.Gupta immediately examined her in the ER & moved her for a CT immediately within minutes . She received her first dose of Remdesivir the same day. Dr. Gupta was available 24 X 7 personally to monitor & answer any queries. In fact, when her saturation dipped to 85 % at 2 am , Dr.Gupta was there personally to immediately shift her to an oxygen bed. My father in law also got admitted under Dr.Gupta’s care a few days later. Again, his admission process was smoothly coordinated by Dr. Gupta when there was chaos & panic all around us. Again, he was there in the covid ER to receive the patient & start the treatment immediately without any delay. In fact , I was witness to the almost superhuman efforts & dedication of all the doctors & nurses in Dr.Gupta’s team who were working tirelessly around the clock caring for patients & saving lives. Many of these doctors & nurses had themselves recently recovered from covid or had family members of their own battling covid. They could have just stayed home & no one would have said a word. But they were there at the very ground zero of it all, each & every day ( 24 x 7 ) saving lives. When I accompanied my in laws for admission to the covid ER, it was nothing short of a war zone. But Dr.Praveen Gupta & his team were there attending to patients & making sure that no valuable time was lost. Even more remarkable was the level of care & attention that my in laws received even when there was chaos everywhere & the hospital was full with covid patients. Even during this darkest time , the level of care they received was remarkable. It is these doctors, nurses, lab technicians, radiographers & all the staff working in hospitals like FMRI who are the true heroes. They put their own lives at peril every day during the worst time of the pandemic & saved countless lives. Thanks to Dr.Praveen Gupta’s excellent, prompt & decisive treatment, my in laws recovered & were discharged on 27/05/2021. Mere words are not enough to express the debt that we as a nation owe to warriors like Dr.Praveen Gupta & countless other doctors like him who stood steadfast & unwavering against an invisible enemy at the very peak of possibly the worst outbreak seen anywhere on the planet. I salute each & everyone working in FMRI because for that dark period from mid April till mid June , they were for all purposes in a war zone & no different from soldiers fighting for their country in a war. Dr. Praveen Gupta is no less than a God to me and my family. Unfortunately, my brother in law got infected with Covid during the peak of the 2nd wave. He was admitted under his care in Fortis Hospital, Gurugram. His timely intervention in treatment of Covid, which had reached a severe stage, saved my brother in law’s life who was also diabetic. We almost lost hope but his knowledge and expertise in giving steroids changed the path of the disease and recovery started. I have known Dr. Praveen Gupta from the past five year as he had also treated my uncle for his vision loss. He followed proper treatment protocol and could save vision of other eye. A patient is going through a serious condition and doctors under him have no responsibility to inform family members. They are toooooo rude! Patient is fighting between life & death and he(Dr Praveen) has no responsibility towards him. Even he is not present in the hospital at serious or emergency conditions of patients. Worst Hospital! Worst Doctor!Request from government to take a strict action on him and Hospital Fortis Gurgoan.
