Extremely tough to review something that has saved you* ( in-depth review )- your journey will start from the ambulance which is extremely expensive and can cost you over 10,000 if from Delhi.- Outside gurgaon medanta ambulance don’t go and so there are third party ambulance which are approved by medanta.- The ambulance staff was knowledgeable but at the same time not very efficient.- One more thing about the ambulance even if u have booked from medanta is that they are no well coordinated. ( once the ambulance arrives it is again your duty to inform them all the details and shift the patient. I highly believe this should be internal task as you have booked ambulance directly from the hospital and there should be no delay )- after getting admitted be prepared to do bundle of paper work and be prepared to welcome yourself to a world where doctors are preached.- now your journey will be visiting your patient in the icu where u will go to third basement everyday for next couple of days.- get seasonal parking which is a big scam as they promote it’s by days but in actual it’s by time.- so I would recommend for getting a parking membership as one time parking charge is 50inr.- After parking you will take elevator where you will be frisk checked by the guards.- After that you will get checked again by extremely rude security staff who is ignorant about the fact that your patient is being treated and you are going through emotional turmoil and they will not bother to deescalate the situation at any cost.- now at this icu stop you will be asked to show your card which is of security deposit of 100inr and loss of this card will require doctors letter for regeneration of the card- after taking the crowded elevator during COVID you will be again asked by another security guard where u wanna go and again be invigilated.- Finally after that you will be able to enter the icu where the authorized time is 15 minutes to meet your patient after driving for hour and then wasting your time in their stupid frisk and check with parking which will take 20 minutes easily.- after all that you will get 15 minutes to meet your patient which will highly depend on the mood of the security guard who is on duty if he is feeling good he will let you stay for over 50-80 minutes- the doctor will inform you about the treatment in that 15 minutes and the duty doctor will have completely different version then the doctor whom you meet yesterday.- the staff rotation is a big thing in medanta which needs to be considered as it depends on their mood instead of their duty to which they are bound be it security guard or doctor.- some doctor will say positive rest will just crush you and at the end of the day they will be rotated and you will not see them again and there is just one head doctor whom you will never be able to meet and if luckily u do they are the best to guide.- food quality is average but it doesn’t come free of cost and an egg boiled can cost you over 40 inr- it’s going to be a financial roller coaster and for each water bottle you are charged be prepared- irony is the same thing for which your patient is admitted the same thing they wish upon you as their food court enjoys kfc to Pizza Hut with decent option of vango.- the head doctors are good enough as they enjoy rich resources of the hospital and without any doubt medanta is best currently but not to forget there are no other options and amongst recent competition it’s the best.- Head doctors are preached and until you are not minister or somebody relevant you are not going to get special attention.- the major issue is that they are not fair or transparent each and every report is not given so easily.- security staff needs de escalation training, rotation of staff needs to be given a thought.- nurses need more training and each department needs more coordination among themselves.- I hope this review will help you. Only top doctors are good, management is worse. No social distance or other care for COVID. Very crowded. Without such few top doctors medanta is nothing. Very worse staff organization I guess who is responsible for the management of Hospital where not only staff but Some doctors are even rude with patients as well. Good job with marketing.

Upscale hospital, famous for ethical practices and policies. Discipline, patient care, are best.

Located within the cyberhub complex which is accessible by all. Adequate parking available. Staff at reception desk and billing personnel are very receptive and well mannered. Technicians are adequately skilled and they know their job well. All the tests are done in the ground floor and patients need not move between floors for various tests. Doctors available for consultation are good. Cleanliness and hygiene within the lab is excellent. Overall a nice experience and worth visiting for health check.

Doctors are good. But the nursing staff is very casual, my patient is admitted , you have to run pillar to post, if you seek any assistance from there. Even if you remind them on some test or some thing else, they choose to keep mum and non responsive.

I dont wish to give a single star waiting from more than four hours for admission to get a room but still waiting here now dont know further experience of two days stay here buy definitely will submit the two days stay details and review too I have a question if rooms are not available then why a patient is called for admission process? Sitting for hours and waiting for a call and room availability is sheer waste of time and inconvenience to the patient too. My wife selected this hospital for her treatment just because she thought she will get five star hospital treatment just because of the package we opted for but I would not suggest anyone just because of this mismanagement of hospital also observed International patients are given first priority and assistance but hello though we are Indian we should be treated first as we are also paying same what NRI are paying for treatment.

This is a note to express my heartfelt gratitude towards the entire team of Medanta. The doctors, nurses, staff and everybody else involved in my care were highly skilled and efficient. Dr. Praveen Chandra, Dr Deepak Govil, Dr Vikas Deshwal and Dr. Nandeesh made sure of the impeccable care I received here and for that I am extremely grateful to them.The nursing staff and the housekeeping staff is absolutely brilliant. Starting from cleanliness to the patient’s personal care, they did a wonderful job. Their attitude is extremely empathetic and care customised to individual patient. Not once I felt stigmatised for coronavirus. Consultation is too high and doctors are least interested to check patients carefully. Hospital is charging 1200 plus as consultation and doc will spend less than 1 min to check you. You will be having too many questions in your mind to ask but they wont answer to anything as they are least bothered about your disease and more keen to loot your money.If you need urgent care go to some good hospital which can provide good quality of medical care.

Some of the world class doctors are very well equipped with latest technology involved in medical science.After a liver transplant surgery back in 2012, I am in kind of regular touch with the doctors there and so far, the results are quite promising and support from the doctors and other medical staffs are very well appreciated.The only cons is that - a bit higher cost to avail the services which is quite obvious though, to maintain such a high standard of service in a for profit organisation.Overall - A great private medical facility which India has got at this point.

Went in for COVID Vaccination after registering on COWIN site & getting our reference now & forenoon timing at Medanta-On reaching there was no guidance as to how to go about anything- we were made to stand in a que in the blood bank section to register again & pay to get a UID number!!! A complete rip off despite the government’s mandate of charging Rs 250 only.Long & short of the story is that it was a very poor experience & we left in a huff without any vaccination.We definitely expected a better deal from a hospital the stature of Medanta! Poor to say the least.People should find other centre’s to go

I along with Shelly and the rest of my family would like to sincerely express my gratitude for the amazing work put in by the entire team of the Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon in helping save my sister Mrs. Shelly’s leg , who was a victim of a bad road accident. She would have nearly lost her leg but for the timely assistance given by the Medanta doctors.I especially want to give a big thank you to Mr. Pankaj Sahni for arranging it all , the Plastic Surgery department of Medanta Hospital and Dr. Khazanchi in particular, for their care and skill in helping Shelly on the road to recovery.In three separate operations, they were able to cover her whole leg with muscle and skin There was no skin at all and the bone was exposed in several places. Thankfully, the muscle and skin grafts have been successful and she now has to concentrate on being able to move her leg again and eventually walk .I would also like to mention the help and cooperation extended by the Orthopedists and the rest of the staff including Dr.Hardeep,Dr.Vishal,Dr.Akash, Dr.Manish, and Ms. Niyamat who helped coordinating it all and the entire nursing staff of MedantaAnd a big thank you to all the donors who contributed towards her treatment.We are back home . Surely one of the best If not the best hospitals in India. World-class doctors, treatment, and staff. By world-class I mean, hospital has been properly sanitized and you can’t find any kind of smell, which you can find in other hospitals.

I visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for my Bypass surgery and had a good experience. They have dedicated Cardiac critical care units and a Heart Command Center for critically ill patients. Medanta also offers post-surgery care for lifestyle changes, exercise, education and even emotional support to patients.

Excellent world class facility.Affordability is the main issue for salaried middle class to avail such facilities.

The worst experience anyone can had from this business oriented place in the name of hospital. A place where everything is totally mismanaged. First they delay the admission process for upto 6 hours and then they wont do tests as promised on the admission date. Worst they will keep the patient hanging without food and water for full next day and will start their mere half and hour procedure at midnight which was scheduled 12 hrs before. A total mental and financial harassment of patient and their family..

I have some neurological problem. I am just 26. After loosing from Varanasi I moved to Medanta to contact Dr.Atma Ram Bansal. He did not saw my any of report neither any physical examination he said tum jab chaoge tab thik ho jaayege. Such and irrevelent statement to a patient who has travelled a long for 2nd opinion. It has been 3 month I have zero percent improvement.I cant walk properly running is out of question. Its the doctor that makes hospital a brand not the hospital brand which makes a doctor brand. This hospital has Poor Covid testing facility. Sample collection was incorrectly done at this hospital, the staff was not willing to replace the test kit as it was costly according to them. This led to incorrect results. Eventually I had to get tested at another lab to get Correct result.

Had visited Medanta Medicity for Covid-19 vaccination on 19th Mar 2021. The vaccination process is efficiently managed by the courteous and helping medical staff.

My husband was recommended for treatment for his Prostate Cancer at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. We were lucky to find Dr Narmada Prasad Gupta, who is the head of the Urology Department at Medanta. Under his guidance, my husband underwent surgery and has recovered remarkably well.

Worst experience of a lifetime.Nursing staff unwilling to help.They prefer chitchatting at their counter even the patient is crying with pain.Basic amenities like the emergency bell not working.Even if it does work,nobody bothers to attend the patient.Everytime the attendent has to rush to the counter to call them and even then they come as per their own convenience.Exorbitant prices for even basic tests.Finance and billing team does not even want to hear any request from you.Whatever is the bill ,you have to pay it.Nobody is doing the job they are hired for.Whatever approximates they give for the entire process at the time of admission they will definitely charge you more than that.

Services are poor, I visited hospital on 9th Feb and doctor advised some tested. I get all the tested done and wanted to visit the doctor with all reports so I have taken appointment over call and they have given the appointment of 11.30 AM on 11th Feb. When I went to hospital I found that Doctor is not available and they told me to come at 2 pm. When I again went at 2 pm they told me that doctor will be available at 3.30 pm so you have to wait. I waited there till 4.30 but Doctor was still not available. We go to private hospital so that we do not have to face such issues like we face in govt. hospital but if we face such issue in private hospitals too after paying such higher fees then what is the use to go there.

Cghs patients find difficulty of getting appointment. They are usually deliberately given very far date and told that no slot is available, hence forced to pay full payment for consultation to get early appointment. This is every time i faced with most of doctors. Service of medanta is world class but getting early appointment is headache.

I visited Medanta Medicity Hospital Gurgaon on 13th March 2021 for getting first dose of Covid vaccination and despite a lot of rush, got the needful done within a short time.

Sheer medical negligence. My father was admitted for angioplasty in leg to treat the blockage, which now a days is not a very serious operation, in fact in is a procedure.Sheer case of medical negligence and incompetence.After mismanagement of the case they discharged the patient with unstable condition having a huge haematoma and oedema but in discharge it says condition as stable.I am attaching the discharge summary where it is stated that the condition is stable....It could have been one of the best hospital in NCR earlier but now the scenerio is pathetic.They discharged the patient with unstable condition having lot of oedema but discharge summary says stable. Also they planned to discharge after 2/3 days but by seeing the condition in morning they discharged immediately. At least they could have told that they are not able to handle situation and go for better hospital but they told that everything is alright and meet after 2 weeks. They might have understood that situation created by them is bad and they don’t wanted to take blame and asked for discharged immediately. Same night my father expired after coming home. I am attaching discharge summary pic where you can see condition is stable and also my father pic where you can see his condition.Even the services are degraded. After pressing the emergency button the nurses are late to come and the GDA people are only 2 males and 1 female for 55 rooms in a floor and that is the reason they are delayed to come in case of urination etc for bed ridden patient. Will not recommend Medanta to anyone. It was one of the best earlier but now degraded a lot. There staff is reduced to half.In point 5 and 7 they mentioned that in case of reduce urine or swelling please contact emergency and they themselves have discharged with these symptoms as we also told them he is not able to pass urine.

Due to heavy patient loads, appointment for in-house lab testing waiting goes in days. If possible MEDANTA management should recommend pathology and help patient with locations then it solves issues. MEDANTA can also provide accommodations for outside state patient until they get admission for thorough recovery.

Amongst the better hospitals in gurgaon. Services people from around the world. Dont be surprised if you find Arabs and African nationals visiting the facility.Overcrowded for sure and long waits. Doctors do get frustrated and chances are that they wont remember you, but if you remember the pressure they are in, you might sympathize.

It was sad to see the staff shouting at elderly people to set order. The systems and ways of functioning before Covid need to be revisited and set accordingly. The patients coming cant be blamed for anxiety specially the Elderly folk. Found Mr Panchdev Shukla specially running the Show like his personal Dharamshala. Otherwise the Drs there are Great. Worst in patient experience. Only good thing was best treating doctor. But no pre and post care. For every thing you will need to follow up and more follow up. For blood test follow up, for antibiotics follow up, for investigation followup. No covid precautions.

Very bad management ,Bad assistance, No value of time. Very careless about the time and patients.. Only money minded peoples are here. If have another option definitely go for that.

The expensive healthcare option ..much better than what the government healthcare and cheaper than your abroad hospitals, get an insurance ...and if sharing a room like I am..pray that it is not with someone who likes to watch TV all night ..and. Cross. Your fingers for snoring patients ...

Well maintained and good security system in the hospital.and every member helpful any time any condition.

Never visit here by mistake. Dont trap in marketing tactics of hospital they are just branding. They robbed me & charge me 4 times high without even need of test. I ask them about cost of surgery but they hyper on me instead of clearing things. Its worlds biggest money maker hospital without right treatment. Dr are very less experience with high attitude.

When I visited Medanta Six years ago. It looks so big. Today in May 2017 its looking small because of crowd has increased in many folds at Medanta.I think India has good future in Medical tourism. All the famous and renowned doctors are associated with Medanta.Medanta is Medical Marketing. Rest is greed. As medical insurance is not very popular in India, and if you talk to the attendants at waiting area then you will come to know with how much difficulty they are arranging the money for the treatment in Medanta.

Everythings seems to be in order & great doctors in every dept. Been there multiple times.

I prefer to take treatment from vedantahospital Gurugram.

Doctors knowledge is best but ground staff or front staff not professional and care for simple knowledge person this is not maintain doctor is God this hospital maintain mark seven star hotel. Common man cant afford this hospital charge and services
