Me and my family recently visited this temple and took blessings from Dada. Now the situation here is getting better before... like electricity, water, cleanliness, enough space for sitting and making Prasadam, build boundary and gates, gardening & swing, toilet too.And I believe that in the coming time this temple will develop further and will continue to shower such blessings on its devotees. Jai Ho ....Dada Khandsa Ji

Ekkavya Mandir is the only temple in India, dedicated to the great archer Eklavya in recognition of his sacrifice.According to folklore, this temple is believed to be built during the time of the Mahabharat, in Gurugram, a place named after Guru Dronacharya. It stands at the exact spot where Eklavya’s severed right thumb was buried, after he offered it as guru dakshina to Guru Dronacharya. When Eklavya was denied archery lessons by Dronacharya, he built a mud statue of the Guru, before which he practised archery daily, after watching lessons imparted by the Guru to Pandavas & Kauravas.Eventually he became an exceptional archer, even better than Arjuna.Dronacharya was not happy as he had promised to make Arjuna, the greatest archer of the world. So he asked for Ekalavyas right thumb as guru dakshina. Eklavya offered his thumb to prove his devotion. Also known as Eklavya Tirth, this small, one room temple with a round dome was built in 1721 by a villager.
